My little baby tigs died yesterday afternoon after a very happy, very long 18 and a half year life in which he got a lot of cuddles and a lot of pats and a lot of not necessarily wanted kisses. He was my first cat ever, a birthday present after my dad died to keep me company when everyone was working and he truly did, he really filled a lonely void in my heart where no person could.

He was very funny and very smart, occasionally naughty, with the escaping and brawling possums bigger than him and bashing the blinds on the window to wake us up if we wouldn't get up to do his bidding, also the threatening blanket biting when he wanted to lay under it with me, but mostly he was very calm and gentle and sweet. He'd always let any little kid pick him up or pat him, despite the fact he clearly was not much of a fan, he never bit or scratched them, he'd just let them do as they pleased as if he knew they were only little, it was sorta funny, I think he might have had more patience than most adults with that. Even when we took in the little kitty and he'd never had a cat around, he never beat her up, he wasn't pleased I don't think but he still shared his food, shared his bed, shared his favourite chair on the deck.

I'll miss catching him following me around like a little bodyguard, coming out when i signed for a package and not going back in unless i went too. I'll miss him befriending any workmen or person who ever came into the house, always so friendly- almost like a dog. I'll miss having people tell me he's their favourite cat they've ever met, which happened quite a lot. I'll miss chasing him up the backyard and watching him lay out on the verandah in the sun. I'll miss him jumping on the rail to demand food. I'll miss the way he always snuggled into my arm most every morning for the last hour before I got up. He was my best little pal.

i love angelhusk/huskerdust not just because it's cute and because I like their dynamic (ok ok i like that too but who wouldn't) but because of the way they bring out the most dormant parts of each other??? The way that angel quickly realizes he can be casual and feel safe with husk, the way he doesn't feel pressured to perform or be as sexual with him like he does with almost everyone else?? The way that husker smiles more around angel in that one song than to anyone at any other point in the series (other than when he was getting a back message which, ya know, fair enough), the way he can just have fun and mess around, and doesn't have to be drunk to be happy around him??

haven't had much energy to draw as of late. mostly sticking to headshots with some random outliers thrown in the mix. however, i have been obsessing over cane recently (he needed a new toyhouse profile pic) and decided he needed a healthy rivalry with a twin, hence the creation of typhoon <3

they are both marshal commanders. hurricane tends to be far more stoic and serious whereas typhoon wears his heart on his sleeve and is buir coded (to cadets and padawans. he has at least 238 adopted children). fun fact, he has an artificial spine and heart + various donated organs from deceased vode because my boy went down fighting and somehow?? lived? but he doesn't have a pulse anymore. so hurricane relentlessly teases him for that. more random doodles below the cut (including more clone action o-o)

the sycowbe jokes have existed forever but some of you may recall that kobe's original inspiration was actually a horse lmfao. i had to do my boy justice and at least see what horse markings would look like on him... ignore the conveniently placed silver chains!
