When I write my fanfics, I usually do so at work because there’s so much downtime but that means I have to hand write everything and then type it all up. I’ve found doing voice to text works easier than having to manually type it all but because the names in Helluva are not typical, my phone doesn’t understand names like Stolas, and Vassago etc. So when I’m reading my fics out loud to have it typed up, I’m saying the VA’s names instead and then going into search and replace them during editing but it makes the first draft look pretty crazy 😂

One of the funnier realizations I've had as I've started working on this manuscript is that the female narrator is not outright oblivious when it comes to this guy's feelings towards her, but has actually gone out of her way to convince herself that she's misinterpreting them.

why is it that i can't get my singular braincell to bounce at least once off the side of my cranium, just enough energy to put half a sentence together, while in the comfort of my own home, but i can easily rapid-fire craft a whole fucking manuscript while sitting two hours out from a billie eilish concert.

i just tried to write describe instead of disguise. "She flashed him one of her usual bright smiles, although it did little to describe her unease." like yeah a smile probably wouldn't describe anything very well
