The choice to work or not to work is not discussed. Working becomes the norm. The responsibilities of taking care of loved ones. Wishing and rooting for their dreams to come through. 🌻🌻🌻 My dreams are at a stop, fully cemented into an unknown location. Working becomes the fuel of hope for a breakthrough. Something to show for the hard work. The race never ends and there are no refunds. When I realize this is not how to run my life, it all feels like a scam. Ho do I start treating myself to an occasional off day in my mindset. 🌻🌻🌻 That day comes and does not last long because the food I have cooked is enjoyed when shared. I take the call to come back to work and leave without taking care of myself. Because my responsibilities have just increased.
