Baby boy definitely did all that shit, sure, and yeah it was terrible to Louis and Claudia and Lestat and Madeleine and technically the whole coven...he looked fabulous af doing it thought. Not being alone meant being in the worst possible relationship for all parties. Gremlin chose violence against everyone, himself included. And I love that it was his (eventual) fledgling who exposed him. He had it coming. Either way? He's a little evil shit but he sure as shit was fabulous doing it and I love him.

So, Bruce doesn't tell others his secret identity to protect THEM, not him. Often, people write in fanfics that Bruce doesn't tell the members of the League to protect his kids, but no, it's to protect them, because Bruce believes that he will bring misery to anyone close to him. If they don't know his name, they can't get close, they can't get hurt.

I also want to point out how Bruce here is talking about Jason, but it's the SAME logic the Joker used to hurt Jason: punishing Batman for bringing others in "their game". I'm 100% sure Bruce has said the exact same line while talking about the Joker. They would have beat Jason so fast if one of them came with a powerpoint about how he is literally acting like the Joker or how the Joker wants him to.
