7. how do you de-stress? do you do the same thing(s) every time?

i clean and organize, but most importantly i talk to my gf and i do some mindfulness exercises too :] and i try my best to avoid stress so i Prepare for many things in advance; and i would say i switch things up i don’t have a set routine but it’s all very basic and not many new things find their way into my habits (however i have been wanting to try cross stitching for the longest time)

so, my japanese notes aren’t pictured, but i’m a slut for learning about language. i’m currently taking japanese ii and i absolutely love it despite the headache particles give me.

Day 1. introduce yourself! what are you studying? what are your interests? what are your goals for this month? any fun facts?

Hello, I am Carrie and I’m 23. I am studying Film. I have a bachelor’s degree in graphic design (but i SUCK at it heheeee), so this is a postgrad course. I am very interested in cats and plants, so you can see i am a simple woman. I am also very interested in vintage fashion (1700-1970) and vintage books. This is also a cottagecore blog,btw. 

My goals for this month are to study study study, get good grades (I have 3 tests to complete until march 21st) and to be very productive and keep my house clean and tidy. 

Fun fact: I had 2 cats named Naninha and 4 dogs named Pituxa in my lifetime.

31.congratulations! it’s the last day! well done for making it to the end of the month! did you accomplish all of your goals? even a little progress is good progress so you should be proud of yourself :)

back to the question, i guess i can say i accomplished my goals, since i finished my topics and started a subject i couldn't get to.

9. do you have an ultimate study tip that you recommend?

people learn so differently and no one size fits all but please prepare for your upcoming courses as well as you can and another thing is to switch up your study places; besides studying at home i like to go to my fav cafes, the uni library, the study spaces there or the cafe maintained by my faculty :]

i wanted to take part in the @wtfstudiesss march challenge!!! :]

1. introduce yourself! what are you studying? what are your interests? what are your goals for this month? any fun facts?

i’m noora i’m still an english major (english philology to be exact) but i’m changing it to anthropology, and i like many things but none come to mind (it’s like asking what i want for xmas) i love my gf w my whole heart and my friends and reading and traveling and learning new things and languages and a fun fact is i can’t drink coffee but my girlfriend told me to say that i have a lot of trivia knowledge

2. why do you like the subject you’re studying?

regarding anthropology, i love it!!! it’s so interesting and multifaceted and i was originally going to choose history as a minor but in retrospect i wouldn’t have loved it as much as i do anthropology, also i can’t wait to learn more about it each day even tho it might feel difficult sometimes

so, i meant to post this last night, but it just didn’t happen. i have this nice place in the center of the library that i always sit at, to the point where if there’s a big group that needs a couple extra chairs, they won’t take mine. i do most, if not all, of my school work right there.

ayy it’s time for days 5-6 of @wtfstudiesss‘ march challenge: 5. if you could live in any era which one would it be and why?

even the current era is not good enough for me politically so i would not go back tbh but if we’re looking at purely aesthetics (even though those are interconnected) i would choose the 1970′s

6. can you recommend a book for us to read?

i believe this is quite well known but circe by madeline miller :] also not that bad by roxane gay

hey! my name is luka and this month, i’m gonna be working on studying for japanese ii, ap literature, and ap statistics. i have a yearbook class as well, but the final deadline will be submitted on the 6th! i’m pretty interested in writing and i’m going to try to make progress on a new wip on my account @waagewrites but who knows ;))

goals!

this month, i’d like to

get and stay ahead in my japanese class

finish reading three (3) books

survive ap literature

start drafting between the pages

i’m looking forward to attempting this challenge! i intend on posting some less than perfect pictures of my stuff, to try and encourage the idea that you don’t have to be photogenic within the studyblr community and be successful at school.
