reposting this from my twt bc its funny but olike. im still thinking about this. sigma with glasses could be real methinks... mostly because it would be really funny but also I Love giving characters stuff like that actually
#also. i made a typo in the original tweet but yes. i have glasses and so do BOTH my parents and sister. and like all of my grandparents#i was the first one to need them then my mom found out she needed them because of me. and so on#but enough about me. the prospect of sigma having glasses is so funny. phi should bully him for it. but it would be kind of cool also#even if his vision WAS shit in vlr which it likely could be over 45~ years it would make sense if him as zero sr put a contact in his intac#eye to prevent his younger self from Knowing too early. but also LOL#diana would rock them too i think. like it would be silly. but#MAN sigma having glasses is just. so funny to me#not what the post is about but i do also think it's funny that phi has glasses in ztd but not vlr. What happened. could she just not see#girl who has to squint really hard at the AB game results to read who allied and betrayed LMAOO#anywyas. i will stop rambling. but if anyone does end up drawing sigma in glasses or has any further commentary. i would Like to hear/see..#see. get it. like eyes. bc glasses. Solar return observations pt. 2 (Based on my personal experiences)
I got my first laptop when I had Uranus conjunct the north node in the 2nd house in SR. It was really unexpected (Uranus) because I went to the store with my mom just to see it in person and we ended up buying it just because
When I had Mars retrograde in my SRC I was VERY LAZY!! In whole signs it was also in my 4th house which added to its debilitation and caused me to not get a lot of things done on time or with efficiency. My body always felt tired and I literally had no motivation to do anything. The simplest task felt like a prison sentence. I would also add that this placement caused me to be late to places a lot.
Speaking of, at the time Jupiter was in Aries in my src, with mars being rx and my Jupiter being ruled my mars, I can say that I was very out of touch my my spirituality that year. The year before I was a sag rising and I was very in tuned with meditation, tarot, learning a new language, and esp astro. But when I had this placement I had zero motivation to practice any of those things. So just know if u have a planet rx in ur chart and another planet being ruled by that same planet, you may experience some lack in regards to what the planet symbolizes
And lastly, Mars conjunct Moon in Gemini in the 3rd house (placidus) & 4th house(whole sign): I gotta say that having this placement was very strong. I felt it on a macro level. One of the main things I had going on with this placement is the inability to stop thinking. I was always very stuck In my head and felt incapable to stop. I was always trying to find the solution to the wrong things too. Having this placement made me reflect a lot and want to understand the deeper meanings behind things. also, lots of verbal arguments with siblings(mars in 3h) and parental figures (mars in 4h)
The year I had Libra Rising in my SRC was the year I practiced and wore makeup like every single day. I also would say that I did get a mini glow up from having this
The year I had a Sagittarius Rising was the year I attempted to learn my ethnicity’s language!!
The year I had a Cancer Rising was the year me and my family started looking for new homes!!
I developed social anxiety the year I had Mercury in the 12th house. Not saying you’ll develop or struggle with a mental illness the year you have this placement but it’s possible
Neptune in the 6th house 🤝 excessively daydreaming on a daily basis
Moon in the 12th house and I was very closed off that year. I especially felt very depressed thinking about the past and my life circumstances. I felt the need to isolate and hide myself and also daydream a lot to get away from it all which makes sense bc 12h rules escapism
Lunar return placements:
Rising sign at 26°: I was very materialistic this month and spent lots of money on food and items
Uranus in the 5th house: I developed a little crush on someone online but it was fleeting
Mars in the 4h: I was literally stuck in bed every single day
Taurus stellium in my 5th house: Definitely contributed to my lack of energy this month. And also just wanting to chill and watch tv all day long. It’s also increased my desire to cook
Taurus stellium containing sun and Venus: I feel like this is the reason behind why I was receiving so many compliments this month. Everyone was calling me pretty and said they liked my new things

Where is the doghouse?
Not only JP-7: the SR-71 could use JP-4 and JP-5 as emergency fuels but they both limited the Blackbird's top speed to Mach 1.5..
The SR-71 Blackbird was the first aircraft to use its own fuel for hydraulic fluid. It was called the fuel hydraulic system.
The legendary SR-71 Blackbird Mach 3+ spy plane was powered by two 34,000 lbf (151,240 N) thrust-class J58 afterburning turbojet engines. Each engine contained a nine-stage compressor driven by a two-stage turbine. The main burner used an eight-can combustor and the afterburner is fully modulating. The primary nozzle area was variable. Above Mach 2.2, some of the airflow was bled from the fourth stage of the compressor and dumped into the augmentor inlet through six bleed-bypass tubes, circumventing the core of the engine and transitioning the propulsive cycle from a pure turbojet to a turbo-ramjet.
The SR-71 was the first aircraft to use its own fuel for hydraulic fluid. It was called the fuel hydraulic system.
An engine-driven pump provided 1800 psi of recirculating fuel to accurate various engine components and then returned it back to the aircraft fuel system to be burned. Fuel was used in the actuators to control the afterburner nozzles, which maintain the proper exhaust gas temperature and control the thrust output. The fuel was also used in the engine actuators to shift the two-position inlet guide veins from their axial position to the cambered position and back again. This was just another of the many first-ever inventions of the-SR-71.
The J58 engine was hydromechanically controlled and burned a special low volatility jet fuel mixture known as JP-7.
Emergency fuels could be used in the SR-71 if the crew was low on fuel and had to use ANY tanker (as already explained the Blackbird relied on KC-135Q tankers [that could simultaneously carry a maximum of 74,490lb of JP-7 and 110,000lb of JP-4 for their own engines] but the SR-71 could also be refueled by standard Stratotankers in the event KC-135Qs were not available or if the Blackbird crew had to deal with an emergency situation) they could find to avoid the loss of the aircraft. The emergency fuels were JP-4 or JP-5 but they limited the Blackbird top speed to Mach 1.5. There were six main fuselage tanks. All 80,285 pounds of JP-7 fuel were carried in six main fuselage tanks. The tanks numbered one through six moved forward to aft (back) tank 6B It could hold 7,020 pounds of gravity-fed fuel and two tanks sumps. This was also called the “doghouse” and was located in the extreme back portion of the fuselage.
Fuel was the lifeblood of this fastest-manned airplane in the world. I found the following in a declassified CIA brief.
There it would first be used as hydraulic fluid at 600 F to control the afterburner exit flaps before being fed into the burner cans of the powerplant and the afterburner itself.
Cooling the cockpit and crew turned out to be seven times as difficult as on the X-15 research airplane which flew as much as twice as fast as the SR-71 but only for a few minutes per flight. The wheels and tires of the landing gear had to be protected from the heat by burying them in the fuselage fuel tanks for radiation cooling to save the rubber and other systems attached thereto. Special attention had to be given to the crew escape system to allow safe ejection from the aircraft over a speed and altitude range of zero miles per hour at sea level to Mach numbers up to 4.0 at over 100,000 feet.

Two people were arrested Wednesday for allegedly helping fugitives who escaped in Friday's New Orleans jailbreak, police said.
According to the Louisiana State Police (LSP), 32-year-old Cortnie Harris of New Orleans and 38-year-old Corvanntay Baptiste of Slidell were arrested for assisting the fugitives. They have been charged with one felony count each of accessory after the fact and were transported to the Plaquemines Parish Detention Center.
"The initial investigation revealed that before the escape Cortnie Harris was in contact via phone with an escapee who remains at large. Furthermore, investigators determined that Harris transported two escapees, who remain at large, to multiple locations in New Orleans," LSP said. "Investigators also determined that Corvanntay Baptiste was in contact via phone and social media with escapee Corey Boyd (captured) and helped facilitate getting him food while he was hiding in a residence."
The news comes on the heels of a jail maintenance worker being arrested Tuesday for allegedly helping the inmates.
Sterling Williams, 33, an Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office employee and maintenance worker in the facility, was arrested and charged with principal to simple escape and one count of malfeasance in office for allegedly turning off the water in the cell from which the escapees fled.
He is being held on a $1.1 million bond, $100,000 per charge.
In an arrest affidavit, he claimed that he was coerced into aiding the escapees under threat of stabbing.
On Tuesday night, LSP announced the capture of Boyd, 19, who was awaiting trial on charges of second-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, aggravated battery and threatening a public official before the escape.
DEMOCRATIC LAWMAKERS DEMAND LOUISIANA SHERIFF RESIGN AFTER 10 INMATES ESCAPE JAIL
Five of the escaped inmates are still on the run.
They include:
Lenton J. Vanburen Jr., 26, faces charges of illegal carrying of weapons, possession of a firearm or weapon by a felon, obstruction of justice and introducing contraband in prison.
Jermaine Donald, 42, faces charges of second-degree murder, aggravated battery, possession of a firearm or weapon by a felon and obstruction of justice.
Antoine Massey, 32, faces charges of domestic abuse involving strangulation, theft of a motor vehicle and a parole violation.
Derrick Groves, 27, faces three counts of attempted second-degree murder, two counts of second-degree murder and battery of a correctional facility employee.
Leo O. Tate Sr., 31, faces charges of simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling, possession of a firearm or weapon by a felon, illegal carrying of a weapon, motor vehicle theft and multiple drug counts.
Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill said on "Fox & Friends" on Wednesday that she believes the remaining escapees are still located in New Orleans.
"I've notified neighboring state officials that they could have headed in that direction, but my gut says that they're probably staying close to home unless they have significant resources somewhere else," Murrill said. "You're just unlikely to go somewhere where you have zero support and help, most of these, if not all of these individuals grew up in New Orleans."
This story is developing.

Virtual Character Tourney - Round 2 Bracket Delta - 7

Propaganda below (May contain spoilers!)
Zero III propaganda:
Zero III is a funny rabbit who tells awful puns. He exists to oversee the game that the main characters are trapped in, and teach them the rules. Although he must follow the orders of his creator (referred to as Zero Sr.), he does so with glee. He even gives each participant an insulting nickname.
Lyla propaganda:
she is a humanoid ai programmed to help spider-man gather info. she can simulate human emotions and has a high intellect

Virtue's Last Record: Numbers
Summary: Sigma tries to convince himself that Zero is an idiot. Title from the Omori OST. CWs: Okay, I feel like I have to explain myself a little bit here. I am Jewish and headcanon Sigma as being Jewish as well, and that kind of resulted in this chapter having some sideways references to the Holocaust. To be clear, this is not me trying to equate the silly fictional Nonary Game with a real life atrocity - these are just the connections I imagine a Jewish person who was actually in this situation (i.e. Sigma) would inevitably draw. So take care, and hopefully it doesn't come off as too tasteless.
“The Nonary Game” was a stupid name.
In between being an overall superstar and completely carrying every team he was on through the escape rooms, Sigma worked on his list of petty grievances against Zero Sr. His rabbit was annoying and mean, the lions were a creepy point of obsession, and even the name of his sick deathtrap could use some work.
He knew what “nonary” meant, of course. Of or pertaining to the number nine. But what significance did nine really have in this game? Nine points were needed to escape, which seemed arbitrary, and there were nine participants, which just seemed convenient. Quark was probably around nine years old, but honestly, if this whole game somehow turned out to all be about him, Sigma would laugh.
There were cool things about the number nine, for sure, like how the digits of any of its multiples always added right back up to nine. And it didn’t seem like it would be hard to exploit that in this kind of game. Every participant could have been assigned a number one through nine, maybe (Sigma thought he might be “five,” for whatever reason). The solos and pairs could have matched up with each other based on multiples, and certain multiples would open certain doors. The Ambidex Game could factor in at some point, too, he figured, although in all honesty that felt a little like a hat-on-a-hat at that point. Maybe it would be simpler to make the game a scavenger hunt for the one numbered door that all the participants could all open together…
Well, shit. Now he was thinking like Zero. And he really didn’t like that look for himself.
Thinking about this didn’t make Sigma a maniacal kidnapper. These were just plans for a fun board game. Yeah, a board game. He’d design it once he was free. A bestselling board game, based on his trauma. Ugh.
The truth was, Sigma needed to think nasty things about Zero Sr. and tear apart his grand ideas. He needed to pretend he could outsmart this guy, just to distract him from how sinister this whole game might have been. He’d heard the theories from the others that this was a Radical-6 quarantine facility. That the Nonary Game might have been a guilt-free way to get the infected to exterminate themselves. That this wasn’t the only one of these… facilities.
Sigma had been taught all his life that he couldn’t allow a mass extermination like this to happen again. Never again could people be sequestered with numbers printed menacingly on their wrists, watched over like hawks by some sadistic game master before ultimately dying by poison. Preventing shit like this was basically one of the tenets of his religion, and, well… Sigma didn’t know what he could have done to stop this, but dammit, being a part of this sure made him feel like he’d failed somehow.
Like he himself, through inaction, was responsible for unleashing a monster like Zero III onto the world.
He’d heard once that the best and only way to overcome someone like that once they already had power was to clown on them. He wasn’t so sure that was true, but in this moment, it felt like it was in his best interests to regard Zero as the incompetent clown he was sure he wasn’t.

What Are You Hiding Peter?
read it on AO3 at https://ift.tt/eamWrQZ by Petepack After the death of his beloved Aunt May, Peter Parker’s world crumbled. Not only had he lost the only family he had ever truly known, but he also faced the harsh reality of being a 15 year old orphan. With no other immediate relatives to care for him, Peter gets placed in the care of his last living relative—his paternal grandfather, Richard Parker Sr. and his much younger wife, Cynthia. Peter had never been close to his grandfather. Richard was a cold, strict man, a retired army General. Richard Sr. harbours bitterness towards Peter and thinks of him as a curse. But Peter had nowhere else to go, and the authorities saw Richard a retired military general as the logical guardian. Cynthia, Richard’s wife, was an indifferent woman Peter still had one thing he held onto—his life as Spider-Man. Being Spider-Man is his escape, his way of making up for the guilt he felt over May's death and Uncle Ben’s before her. Tony Stark, who has become his mentor and father figure, suspects something is wrong but doesn’t push Peter, who maintains a facade of normalcy while secretly suffering.
