✨ Do you have any nicknames?

Not a ton—“Maya” is a hard name to shorten or nickname. (And yes, I’ve heard “Maya-Papaya” approximately ten million times.) My family has many nicknames for me, though—I won’t share all of them here because they’re personal, but one that I like is “Princess Moonbeam,” which my mom usually calls me when she’s telling or texting me good night in the late, late hours when I typically tend to stay up.

I’ve also been called “Maya the Water-Chugger” by my friends (that one should be pretty self-explanatory—hydrate or diedrate!), “Machine-Gun Maya” by a middle school teacher (because I type so fast it sounds like a machine gun firing), and “Carl Sagan Jr.” by a DIFFERENT middle school teacher (that one should also be pretty self-explanatory—I was a little astronomy nerd.)

🐰 What do you think says the most about a person?

My very generalized answer is: how they treat others—if they show them respect or understanding, or not.

🧡 A color you can’t stand?

I tend to like most colors, but really bright, saturated ones like magenta (hex code #FF00FF), bright green (#00FF00), or bright blue (#0000FF) tend to hurt my eyes and I don’t really like their use in digital art. My favorite colors are anything in the purple-pink-red range, so I like magenta in theory—just maybe a slightly less eye-searingly bright shade of it, please?

🐸 Describe your aesthetic.

Do…do I even have one? My fashion sense is basically “the first T-shirt and leggings I pull from my closet every day” (usually with a desultory attempt at color-coordination, and maybe matching earrings if I have the time and motivation). And what T-shirts and leggings I own are dictated less by a sense of personal style than by what A) doesn’t cost a ton, B) is comfortable (I’ve worn the same bunch of leggings since 9th grade because they’re some of the only pants whose texture doesn’t bother me), and C) has things I like on it.

I guess in terms of personal style/aesthetic, I like colorful things more than…not-colorful things? Instead of muted or monochrome palettes, I like bright colors (as long as they’re not TOO eye-searingly bright, as mentioned above), especially anything in the pink-purple-red range. A lot of things, although not all, in my dorm room fit this color palette.

But honestly, if my clothing or decor has Spike Spiegel on it, then I’m happy.

So, is there a possibility that Taylor may have npd (narcissistic personality disorder) and/or psychopathy (the second won't be surprising, since I'm more interested in the first one, but it's also curious)? Like in coop with his bloodcurdling yandere nature it would sound even more terrifying, but it explains some things for me (or maybe I'm wrong, idk)

⌞♥⌝ I don't really like to give my characters any disorders I personally don't have, as I never want to misrepresent them, spread (harmful) misinformation, or perpetuate any negative stereotypes.

For example: Elanor has ADHD, Ren has dyslexia, Moth has SAD (generalised Social Anxiety Disorder), And Kiara has OPCD (Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder). I'm not very vocal about it because I want my characters to just... exist without having to link every little thing to their disorders. I merely want people who can relate to look at my characters and go, "Yeah... No wonder I kin you 🫵" lmao /silly

In Taylor's case, he's supposed to come across as an incredibly fucked up individual in a completely fictional sense, so I wouldn't want to demonise or bastardise a disorder — nor use it as a scapegoat for his actions and poor decisions. At the end of the day, Taylor truly is just a sleazy, no-morals kind of guy who just wants his wife to prioritise him and only him.

(hi there) what do we think about a soulmate au for 457? in ho's mark says "player 456" and then he spends every game since his own wondering if that will be the one, the one *his* player 456 is there. gi hun's says "player 001" and he wonders about il nam for a while, but then he tells gi hun about his own mark during the marbles game. in ho is just watching this all go down with growing hope and then. gi hun actually wins. he doesn't know what to do in that scenario, so he just lets gi hun go as promised but keeps fervent tabs on him. when gi hun doesn't get on the plane in ho urges him, willing to let him go knowing that if he gets his hands on him again gi hun won't be able to escape. gi hun spends years searching for him instead and eventually gets back on the game. in ho decides to play with him and becomes player 001. he tells gi hun he has a sick sister and not a wife, they bond over the games and quiet moments in the dorm rooms. before they go to fight the higher ups gi hun has to ask in ho if he has a soulmate and the reveal happens. gi hun takes in ho with him to look for the control room. when they're almost there in ho kisses gi hun and then knocks him out with his gun. when gi hun wakes up he's in one of the vip rooms, tied to a chair, and the front man is staring him down. he asks what was done to young il, was he killed? the front man ask why he cares and gi hun rages at him and the front man asks if gi hun would still care if he knew the truth, if he knew what kind of man he truly was. gi hun is confused and the front man tells him young il lied to him, manipulated him, he's done monstrous things, he's hurt and killed more people he could count. gi hun thinks it's a lie and the front man asks again, would he still care? gi hun thinks it over brokenly before whispering a single "yes". the front man mask claters to the ground.

i love soulmate aus so much, especially ones like this with enemies to lovers and obsessiveness and knowing that this person is the only one for you, that the destiny in store for you is within someone who has caused you immense pain and suffering, but forgiving them anyway because they are your soulmate, you are literally two pieces of one soul

but imagine - a soulmate au where your soulmate's name only appears after you've met them for the first time and when gihun meets "youngil" in the games, he is so besotted with him but the mark on his arm says "hwang inho" so he kind of lets it go but inho has "seong gihun" right there and cant help but think of how appropriate it is that the man who had occupied his every thoughts for the past three years is the one who is his soulmate.

(bonus if at one point gihun sees his own name on inho's arm and wonders who else has his exact same name bc his soulmate is hwang inho, not youngil)

starstruck, and most of popstar, would have absolutely no concept of this! meta knight however, as i've said before, is an outlier to me in that i believe he understands romance to an extent.

i do this partially for the bit. i think it's sort of funny if the most lone-wolf guy is the only one capable of getting a recognisable and debilitating crush. but also because in my world-building the Celestials (meta knight's species) did have a social structure with complex relationship hierarchies, including socially binding contracts and unique role designators within those hierarchies.

i wouldn't necessarily compare this to "marriage", but in a modern context if they'd had modern feelings... maybe they could have done it that way, willingly and for emotional reasons. meta knight himself would certainly romanticise it as such!

the way Celestials entered into this sort of thing was complex, and varied depending on the roles being assigned to participating parties. while not all systems would use a visual signifier of the relationship, they certainly did use them!

wearing the symbol or the colour of a higher-ranked individual in your system was a very common practice, especially for orbiters. these could be removeable items- such as an accessory- or in some cases would be more like a mark left on the skin.

meta knight could only know about these things historically, as he's never met another Celestial. but if given the right opportunity, he wouldn't be opposed to putting them into practice. he's maybe even daydreamed about it, a lot tiny bit. for the kind of bond he'd be imagining, either a mark (which he wouldn't want to do to her), or a small accessory such as a bow in his colour would be customary.

thankfully, she already wears a bow, and she loves to play matchy-matchy!

Back when Karma was a daycare attendant and newly infected with the virus, their first victim was a human staff worker who they were infatuated with. Their Sun, Heartbreak, also had an infatuation on the same human and had plans to pursue them because they got along so well, and the vibes the human gave off seemed mutual.

Well, Karma ended up getting pretty jealous about it between both the human and Heartbreak, so he ended up murdering the staff worker out of jealousy and hiding the body, which Heartbreak eventually found and was mortified. Heartbreak approached Karma about it (very frantically) and Karma ended up attacking him. He thought he had killed Heartbreak too so he fled the pizzaplex in fear of being decommissioned. Heartbreak survived and has since left the pizzaplex as well to hunt Karma down.

This is also similar to Dior who killed their Moon out of a jealous rage. So while Karma and Dior hate each other, they're very similar in some ways. Only Dior feels extreme guilt about it, while Karma (thanks to the virus) does not. 😌

Little Boy Cat. It’s funny when they call back to LBC in later episodes and reveal she was actually Little Girl Cat (apparently because fans wrote to the show to point out the cat was a Calico so not likely to be a boy). I appreciate how they show Shawn being genuinely reluctant to let LBC go when he gives her to Buzz and I love how tiny she looks in Buzz’s giant hands.

45 Favourite running gag in the show?

Lassie’s “I would rather” is fun. I like to imagine him actually being put into those situations, like going to the mall with Buzz, being stuck at a folk festival, or learning to play the harp. Then he’s surprised to find he enjoys the thing when he’s forced to do it.
