we may start the process of getting a service dog soon (idk how soon). for psychiatric stuff (autism + mental illness). insurance doesn't usually cover this (ours doesn't). all we know is it could cost 10,000 to 30,000 for this especially for the desired breed.

so hypothetically what is the best way to fundraise this money without having to worry about paying it back (aka not getting a loan).

because we want to go to college at some point after high school to study psychology. but in order to function by ourselves or with only strangers for a prolonged period (multiple days) we'd need a service animal to prevent episodes and such.

Tbh, calling abusive people “narcissistic” feels insulting to narcissistic people

"🏠: Do you have any experiences with homeschooling? Has it had an impact on how your system functions, compared to others?"

we never really did homeschooling BUT in our 7th grade year (2020-2021) we did school virtually/homebound due to covid.

our system hadn't quite been uncovered just yet and it was a very stressful time (just got out of possible psychosis back then I think) so we forgot things extremely easily and also had a lot of depressive/mood symptoms due to the extreme stress of the pandemic and unintentional neglect from out parents (they got long covid; though our mom's bf has always been abusive).

we also only had 5 classes (health/PE, history, science, math, and english). and we go every grade in the book; an A, a B, a C, a D, and an F. we didn't have to do summer school though cause of the conditions/situation (plus summer school was already filled with kids who just skipped virtual school work anyways).

so as much as we hate public school, homeschooling isn't much of an option either as it would be harder to get us to do virtual work when burn out hits. plus we'd become completely or almost completely isolated irl if we did that so.

we have BPD and potentially bipolar (bipolar 2?) and can have psychotic symptoms during episodes (like psychotic depressive episodes) and we have collective delusions while also having specific holders for those delusions. even outside of episodes these delusions (which tend to be mild? outside of episodes) affect us all collectively in some ways too :3
