For several years, she’s sat with wide eyes and a broken smile.

She’s got thorns in her hair, and moss on her collarbone.

And for several years, she’s been neglected in the gardens of the circus.

Caine’s abandoned play-thing.

Petra stood tall and precious up above a fountain that overlooked bushels of flowers and shrubs. The garden just outside of the circus tent. She couldn’t smell the flowers, nor could she touch them. But she could see them. And she knew just how long the life expectancy of a daisy was. She had seen them wilt so many times, she’d grown depressed at the sight of any dying shrub.

And if she could just move! If she could leave these shackles she'd find a water pail and bring those poor daisies some food. Some water. Some hope. Because maybe, just maybe they’d live a bit longer than she could.

Maybe then, something could live alongside her. Something wouldn’t die after three days of knowing her.

So time passes as it would, and the sun greets Petra with a sorrowful smile, and when the Moon takes its place, she sits and laughs with Caine as you sit in agony in the middle of the Garden. Petra missed human interaction, she missed being able to joke with her friends who had met the same fate as her. Thinking about her old friends makes her think about all the regret. All the guilt.

Why did she touch that damn computer? What could’ve been so appealing about that fucking headset?!

God. It crept up on her like the vines on her legs. Like the thorns that grew in her hair. Punishment, is what she considered.

When the night fell upon the grounds for the millionth time, she kept her hard stare on the tents door. As if something would happen. Because she could feel it. Something was going to come through that door. And it would be tonight. And it would be her knight in shining armor. Or… something like that.

Surprise surprise, nobody came. But as the artificial sun rose again, she heard a few footsteps coming near her. She moved her gaze as much as possible. One tall lanky rabbit, and one chess piece. Who were these people? These weren’t the people she knew when she was- alive? No that wasn’t the word…

The rabbit barely glanced at Petra. She knew he didn’t know she was alive. No one ever knew. The chess piece however, took a long long look at her. He approached her base. His eyebrows raised as he let a hum out.

“Well this is just gorgeous! When did Caine put this here?” The chess piece asked curiously, and honestly, very enthusiastically.

The lanky one shrugged and kept walking, “Yeah yeah, its super awesome.”

Hey, she was nothing to be joked about! God can’t they see?! Are they blind? Why couldn’t they tell that she was here. If she could yell she would. She really really would. How she felt was how it felt to have a dream where she couldn’t talk or scream. Or run fast enough. It was torture.

That night, the lanky rabbit came back. He stood in front of the statue, an exhausted look on his face. She looked at him too. But he couldn’t tell. But he kept standing there. Staring. Until he groaned, picking up a rock, and chucking it at Petra. Leaving one large dent in her side. The gorgeous statue was now broken even more. But she continued to watch as the rabbit took out his anger on the garden, throwing things, stomping on the pretty flowers that never had a chance. If she could feel pain, Petra would. And if she could cry, she would too.

However, it wasn’t long before the rabbit ran his hands along his face, and then reached for the vines on her legs, and gently tore them off. And she felt much better. Less chained down. The rabbit sighed as he got as much debris off her as he could.

“Sorry… just a rough day, statue lady.” He groans, putting a soft smile on his face. “Sorry for the rocks.”

And the lanky rabbit slowly sauntered off, hands in the pockets of his overalls. Petra was astounded. Someone helped her, they didn't even know it. She needed to know how to talk to him. He could be her only hope. Well… if he visits again.

So as her gaze went back to the damaged daisies, she noticed the outline of Caine appearing on the edge of the garden. And those big, mismatched eyes, looked at her stone ones. And the next thing she knew, she was falling, and broken on the ground. Into several shattered pieces.

Where is a stranger when you need them? She wondered as her broken stone bust faced the digital stars.

OKAY. this is my first fic, it is a bit boring but i needed something to do. I had someone reach out to make a fanfic about Petra, so when they post it, I’ll reboot it here because I can’t wait! But here’s the first chapter for my OC! Any advice is so very welcome and I would love to hear any critiques!

okay gang. this is the oc.

here’s the basic lore because this is a shitty drawing. when the cast finds her she’s just a statue bust in the middle of the grounds. they soon find out she can talk, and has been stuck there for just as long as kinger, and nobody has been able to see her. i also want her to freeze randomly (as a statue would) once she actually gets her limbs.

YALL. I get it. People want to ship characters and that’s fine. But just because Jax and Pomni are on the same damn team for an episode does NOT mean they are dating 😭🙏. I saw a similar post to this about how Pomni just feels comfortable around Jax to be herself. That does not mean she’s in love with him 😭 sorry I just keep seeing some OUTRAGEOUS “funny bunny” fanart of ep 6’s trailer and I felt I needed to say something.
