I finally got back into drawing after my long break, so expect some more artwork again. I’m still having my break from the comic though as I still want to have that month break in order to not have burn out, but I’ll be able to go back to full illustrations now. I’m also even thinking of drawing more things that aren’t Undertale related on my personal account @arabelleproductions as I’m getting back into some old fandoms like Genshin Impact, Our Life (both 1 and 2), how to train your dragon, pokemon, and even some new fandoms like KPop demon hunters. So if you want to see some artwork from me in general, I may post more on there.

Update

Where’s the comic?

The comic is gonna be on a little break this month. I’m letting my script writer gets some pages done before I continue and I have other projects I’m a part of that has assignments that needs to be done. That plus I’m moving into my dorms at the end of the month, so the comic is not going to be update for a month or a little bit more.

I may share some concept art I’ve had in my files along with some music that’s been finished if there’s really nothing I’ve got yet.

One thing I will reassure, I’m never abandoning this project. I love the story I’m creating and I want to share it with you all, I just don’t want to burn out in the process or ruin my outside life over it. I’ve poured money into this thing, I don’t think I can abandon it XD

But for now, allow me this break. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Update 2

Ok I pulled an all nighter, and everything’s done to be posted today at 4:30 pm GMT-5. I’m really happy with this batch of pages so I hope you guys like it ☺️

The next ten pages will take…a while…plus I gotta work on a couple other things before I continue, so I’ll let yall know when I get back to working on the pages.

So I did something stupid and made a couple of the panels in one page colored so now it’s probably not going to be released this Saturday and may be released next week. Sorry again for the delay, the drive home was longer then I expected and these next three pages are taking a lot more work then I intended. Seriously my eyes are burning

If it’s done by Saturday then I’ll post them. If it’s not, then I’ll post them next week, it’ll definitely be done by then. See you guys then!

Broken Trinkets | Undertale Rainbow OST

I have been sitting on this one for a while. This one was made by Ultrax, our boss music artist, for volume 1. I enjoy this theme a lot and I hope you do took. I have a few other songs I've been sitting on as they are for moments further along in the story, but I think there's some I can release. I'll have to think about it. In the meantime, enjoy! Currently there's 6/10 of the next batch of pages are done, plus concept art for later. Cya next Saturday!

Creepy Flowey Drawing

I really liked a certain expression I had for Flowey when creating the next batch of pages, so I took a quick break and drew the face in a crosshatching illustration. I haven't done crosshatching since I was in the art program in middle school/high school, so it was really fun to do it again.

Announcement

The next ten pages are being posted today at 4:30 pm GMT-5, but the following ten pages won't be posted until the week after next week.

There are a few reasons for this: firstly, there are currently only 4 pages done after this next batch, and I'm in a bit of a slow period when it comes to the pages, as I've been working nonstop on the comic, aside from a small break for finals, for months. I'm also only here in Texas for another week before going home by car, so I'm trying to spend more time with the people I'm visiting here before that time is up. I'm hoping to have the next 6 pages done by the week after next, but I may not, and if that happens, I'll take another week.

I also cannot stress this enough: don't expect these many pages when we're doing full color again. The reason why there are so many is cause I don't need to do nearly as much shading as I did at the beginning. If the whole fight scene was in color, this wouldn't have been done until next YEAR. When we're back to full color, we may have less than ten pages each week/every two weeks. The number may be more inconsistent as well, some weeks may have 6, others may have 3. However many we think that would be enough to leave a cliff hanger on. What'll never change, though, is the day and time it is posted; it will constantly be posted on Saturday at 4:30 pm GMT-5. It may take an entire month for the next batch, and it'll still be posted on that day at that time.

With that in mind, cya guys when the next batch is posted!

Here's Flowey! | Undertale Rainbow OST

Really quick before I post the ten pages, I had to get this done as soon as possible. Realized we needed a flowey theme before the next ten pages so our wonderful character and area theme artist Luca M was able to get it done for us super fast! We really enjoy all the work he does, so please go on and check him out! Along with our other artists, we've worked with and linked in the other posts! Possession (Undertale Rainbow Concept Doodle)

As a main part of the soul kids being a part of Frisk, they can lend their powers to be used in battle. This is usually noninvasive, and Frisk can operate like normal; however, there is a way for the kids to possess the body and take it over. This would force Frisk themself to take the place as the ghost and the kid who takes over to take control of the body. This causes a forceful change in appearance as it's an unnatural process, as the consciousness in the body is not the original one. This also wears out the ghost itself, and will cause the ghost to lose enough power to fade away if they're not careful. This is the Morgan version as I was able to see clearly where I wanted to go with hers compared to the others, and I'm also very tired. Goodnight everyone, I hope you enjoyed this.

In Rosemary's case, she lived a quiet life. What happened to her parents?

Rosemary's parents died before she could remember. Her father and her uncle were military medics (both of them were brothers), her father dying in the field whilst her uncle survived. Her mother died due to complications with Rosemary's birth, surviving for a year or two after her birth, so she was able to see her grow in her infancy, but not long enough for Rosemary to form vivid memories of her. Her uncle and grandmother raised her as the rest of their family was very far away, and the grandmother mainly provided for them with her bakery business (which is technically owned by the uncle because women can't own businesses yet, but it's still the grandmother's). The uncle can't really bake, Rosemary's father had more of that gift, but he does help with the more numbers side of things and teaches those things to Rosemary, whilst the grandmother taught her the skill of baking and cooking.

But that's what happened to her parents. They are the top photo on the altar, which is their wedding photo. The other photos are of other family members in her family, her grandfather, great-grandmother, great-aunt, and second cousin who died young.

Doodle dump? Nah, unfinished work that'll probably never get done dump? More my style

this is in order of oldest to earliest

this was a drawing that was supposed to be a series with each of the soul kids having flowers that describe their trait/stories. I only got frisk's done and it looks honestly awful as I lost my shading brush and was trying to figure out a new shading style. This was made very early on in development so the artstyle wasn't as defined. Maybe I could redraw the idea in the future, but for now it was scrapped

This was another series of drawings that was supposed to put the soul kids as chess pieces with chara and frisk meant to be the players. Stella and Clover were the knights, Rosemary was the bishop, Morgan was the queen, Nick was the king, Percy the rook, and flowey/asriel was supposed to be the pawn. Each of these positions and roles were supposed to be foreshadowing for the individual and overall story of these characters. I scrapped the idea though as the coloring wasn't going the way I liked with stella, but god was I proud of this pose. May return to this idea but not now.

Now were into more recent stuff, like within the last week or two recent. This was a doodle that would stay a doodle as I sometimes just like to sketch. I realized how good the idea of Stella having this tie with Swan Lake fits so well with the character I made her into, as in the ballet typically uses the same dancer for both roles of Odette and Odile, Odette having this graceful style, whilst Odile having this sharpness to it. I plan for Stella to have this contradictory nature to her personality that very well fits with the technicalities of Odette and Odile. With my loving ties to ballet, doing it for 8 years as a kid before I had to quit, I really wanted to sketch this. It was soooo much fun and I loved doing it.

If this isn't obvious already, this is Ceroba and my version of a Genocide Kanako. I realized at the time how much I've drawn of other characters, but never any of the Kanako design I had and just in general monster characters (aside from flowey of course). So i did this fun sketch that i was gonna make a full drawing... then i abandoned it to work on my comic. Sorry kanako, ceroba TOT.

This one I kept debating with myself whether or not to post this with just the base colors, or to shade it, then post it. Now it's in this unfinished dump lol. I made this realizing how many drawings I have of clover, stella, frisk, chara, morgan, and asriel, but NOTHING of the other soul kids. I have my favorites, and it shows TOT, even with that in mind, I love the stories I made with these other kids, and I do want to show that. So I did a cute scene between Rosemary, her grandmother, and her uncle. I was really proud of this drawing as I struggle with different body types and showing age in characters, so being able to draw Rosemary's grandmother without making it look uncanny. I consider that a win lol. I also made Rosemary's uncle weirdly pretty and Idk how to feel about it lol.

Maybe it's still todo early but...

How's the progress of the next ten pages?

Oh trust me it’s not. Originally we were going to post the entirety of the flowey fight first, but then we realized how long it was going to be so we decided to start posting now. Though that means that before posting the first ten, we had up to 20 pages done. So the next ten are actually finished. Though we are planning that next week on Saturday it may not be exactly 10 pages we post, as it took months to finish these pages and doing 10 pages a week is an unrealistic amount for me to keep up with, especially once I go back to school. So probably next week it’ll be around 5 pages or so.
