I've been thinking about a specific scene in chapter 1103.
Spoilers below.
What if it was S-Snake who gave the food to Luffy at this juncture? After all, it would be a beautiful parallel to the Kuma and Bonney situation that happens shortly after, with the message of love surpassing everything. On the one hand a father/daughter relationship with Kuma who should have lost all humanity but who manages, driven by affection for Bonney, to rush to her rescue, and on the other a romantic relationship where it is shown that Boa's feelings towards of Luffy are so strong that they are also transmitted to his clone, risking putting himself in danger as Boa herself did on several occasions.
Among other things, Boa learned to cook just for Luffy, and in One Piece cooking is always presented to us as a sort of love language.
S-Snake has already shown that she is willing to not follow orders given to her if Luffy is involved, so why not even take steps on her behalf to protect him from her?
Maybe I'm crazy but I would love it.
