It’s nothing terrible or dramatic, I just don’t use the app much anymore so I’ve decided to no longer post on this account. This is about as close as it gets to vent art for me. I made this for a few different reasons. (1) I just came out to my strongly christian traditionalist republican family as Biromantic Demisexual and although they don't agree with it, we're still family and that's all that matters. (2) I've been having self image issues lately concerning my weight and fitness. So long story short, this is how I look right now and although it's not exactly the way I want to look, it's honestly not as bad as I think it is. (3) I'm honestly just not proud of the last pic I drew of myself for a profile pic so I wanted a new one. Anyways, thanks for looking!

This has been in my wips folder for a bit too long along with many other projects that I've gotta finish up. But for this here, I've been meaning to update it in my more recent style which is starting to really lean into realism while having that slight hint of cartoonism. I dunno, I also just wanted to make it look better and show a couple other things like my short hair and facial hair that I've worn recently as well. I didn't go bald but I wore both facial hair styles with either hair style so I just decided to show them on their own. I am also tempted to make a 3d model of Xio here but I really aught to save that for after I've finished all of my current projects. Oh, the whoas of the modern artist, amirite? Thanks for looking!

[SPOILER ALERT] I didn't even think about it when I posted this but if you haven't seen the season 9 finale, STOP LOOKING AT THIS [SPOILER ALERT] So I threw this together so lazily yet it actually turned out rather nicely so I’m not complaining. But I finished watching season 9 recently and gotta say, it kinda felt meh. I won’t go into too much detail in case there are still those who haven’t seen it and would like to but basically the best part of the season finale in my opinion was the finale song in the very last episode (which that last episode also really just felt like an entire bone tossed at several different groups of the brony fandom which kinda took away from it literally being the last episode of the entire generation of mlp) Regardless, I also wasn’t to entirely fond of how Twilight looked all grown up so I kinda tweaked her design and drew it in my style which caused some issues cuz I had never actually drawn any of the larger sized princesses in my style so I legit had no idea how to approach the anatomy of the design so I basically just stretched it out and that’s the part I’m not too proud of in this pic. Other than that, I liked it. (I totally stole the idea of her just naturally having the yellow streaks in her hair form @lopoddityart and the background from a google search of the throne room) Thanks for looking!

My friends and I are playing some DnD on the interwebs via discord and Xbox party chat cuz why not. I decided to draw my character (albeit lazily made), also cuz why not. He lost his hand because he first accidently mashed his thumb into oblivion then tried offering the remains of his then severed thumb to a wolf (both actions were natural one rolls). He also accidently killed a teammate by paralyzing him so he couldn't kill a goblin and then said goblin gathered its buddies and ganged up on the now paralyzed teammate and killed em dead... Good times. Something unrelated but also related: I was talking to me mum about playing DnD and she looked at me and said, "Isn't that kinda geeky?" and I looked right back at her and said, "Mom, I literally draw ponies. I don't care." We both got a pretty good laugh out of that. Thanks for looking!

Codename: Shadowstep Power: Teleportation Abilities: - Instant Teleportation - The user can move himself and/or any amount of matter (so long as it is making physical contact with his person) between two seperate locations without physically traversing the space between said locations so long as he can see where he's going or has been there before and knows the space well enough. In this particular case of the power, there is no visible effect for teleporting. He just simply vanishes and reappears when he teleports. No flash, no portal, no nightcrawler effects from the original live action X-Men movies, just vanishing and reappearing. Additionally, he can teleport anything but he can only teleport so much matter before over exceeding his powers limits. For example, he can teleport and handful of people in one go but he can't teleport an entire building. - Marksman - Especially skilled shooter, specializing in a variety of firearms. If it shoots, he can more than likely use it with precision. Equipment: - GSH-18 Pistol 9mm 18 round magazine - Dagger - Throwing Knives This here is my main man ZiaxDerpy's character. The name Shadowstep is a sort of placeholder because we weren't really sure what to call him so until we think of a better name, that's it. Since his power isn't super flashy or noticable, he specializes in stealth ops and recon. His suit was made to reflect that save for the fact that it's literally just a jacket, tshirt, and shorts. We threw in some purple so the suit didn't look so bland. Also all of his weapons are hidden in holsters under his jacket. He doesn't always work alongside Red since he isn't all that great at stealth ops and is more of a Rambo kinda guy. Dis bro here tho, he just gets the job done according to how it needs to be done. I forgot about this pic entirely. I made this as a still life project or whatever it's called last year and didn't really share it anywhere. This was one of the few pieces I made that the teacher was really impressed by. I sorta impressed myself too with how well it turned out. I did this on a grey sheet of paper and used black and white charcoal. Thanks for looking.

Codename: Red Power: Aura Manipulation Abilities: - Aura Projection and Manipulation - This ability allows the user to create or project a visible aura and manipulate its shape, form, density, and strength. It allows the user to grab any amount or type of mass with their aura and manipulate its location, crush it, or tear it apart depending on the strength of the user. It can be used to grant the user limited flight, create a barrier, or be used like telekinesis. - Self Enhancement - This ability allows the user to enhance their physical form, fitness, and abilities with their aura. It allows the user to enhance their body to peak human condition or higher thus giving them the upperhand in combat and other situations. This ability can increase the users strength, durability, toughness, stamina, and endurance but is not limited to these things. - "Bleeding" Aura - This ability allows the user to continue using their powers even though their body and mind is already over taxed and weak. This ability embodies the concept of powers working like a muscle where they can only be used for so long before the user runs out of energy and strength. This ability would be used only when the user absolutely has to because it can damage the users mind and body if used for an extended period of time. - Mixed Martial Arts - He's not big on killing so he uses a variety and mixture of several martial arts, using non-lethal takedowns and pressure points to disarm and immobilize enemies. *cough cough* No killing, just beating the living hoohah out of his opponents until they either submit become incapable of fighting back. I've been sitting on this design for a while now (since May). No real reason save for trying to work out the story behind it and the world/universe this character and related characters will exist in and all those jazzy details. But basically, here's the idea: So there is a thing called Non Newtonian Fluids which are fluids that change viscosities based on the stress or pressure they experience. This was taken and turned into armor of sorts in real life. According to a wikipedia article, "Some of the earliest research in this area was performed at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and University of Delaware in 2003." In 2015, a functional non newtonian fluid was developed that could reportedly stop bullets better than kevlar! One of the involved scientist even claimed that the fluid stopped the bullets so well that the wearer could feel virtually nothing when the bullet made contact! That's honestly awesome. So after reading about all this (I had the idea earlier in the summer and did the research assuming it wasn't an original idea and sure enough it wasn't) I figured why not make an entire suit of armor solely out of kevlar, non newtonian fluid armor (or liquid armor), and carbon fiber plating in areas where flexibility isn't an issue. This concept would theoretically allow the suit to retain the majority of it's flexibility while being able to protect the wearer from most melee and ballistic attacks. However, this suit may struggle to prevent slower piercing attacks in the areas that aren't reinforced by carbon fiber. At least that's just my speculation and skepticism. Other than that and the massive hole in the top of the helmet that we'll ignore for stylistic reasons, I think this suit would be absolutely perfect for a character like mine which would most likely make a bad habit of tanking attacks from opponents. With the nerding/geeking out of the way, now onto the rest of the stoofs to be discussed here. I'm hecking proud of this suit as well as the anatomy behind it. I feel like my style has come a long way and so has the design for this character. I mean literally just compare it to the last updated design for this particular iteration of the character. One detail I'm not too particularly fond of but felt it worked with the suit was the white areas of the gloves. I really wanted to keep the middle and ring finger white and the thumb, index, and pinky finger red but it just didn't work with this design. Oh well, is no biggie. Something I did take away was the escrima sticks. I figured having the powers was enough so poof. And lastly, I updated the powers. I figured the emotion related stoofs with the aura might be a little op so I ixnayed all of that. So basically it's just fancy telekinesis with the added ability of self enhancement. Not sure if I'm going to actually stick with this. I had the idea to try and make a birdsona since I think flying is kewl so I took one quiz to see what kind of bird I'd be and it said cockatiel and I was just like, "Kewl, that works." It was really just a sort of experiment but I do kinda like it. Idk I took a lot of inspiration from the Rito's from Breath of the Wild and this pic by @verlibird on twitter. Hope ya guys like this! I originally made the sketch for this as a reference because I'm terrible at describing things and I was having my mom cut my hair. And yes, I had my mom cut my hair and she does a damn good job of cutting hair But anyways, I decided to finish the sketch since I thought it looked nice so voila! (I mean technically tho, the top of my hair is blonde right now but I legit accidentally just made it brown without thinking about it and didn't feel like fixing it after I had already finished with the entire pic.
