Pharrell Williams - Double Life (From "Despicable Me 4" - Official Lyric Video)
Yeah, brrah Yeah
Hey, what are you hiding? (Watch) What you do when you're gone? (Hey, hey) Nothing wrong being private (watch) Make sure it ain't wrong (yeah) Your life double-sided (watch) Two-faced like coins What side do I get? (Watch) What side are you on?
So what have you done? (Brrah) Some of your dirt has come to light (yeah, why were you?) Speedin' up that hill until the brakes come off (hey, hey) And someone saw you in a fight Am I right?
It doesn't matter to you if you get heads or tails You just don't like to flip all the time But if you spin it then you get to see both sides Oh, the thrill of the double life

In Northern Mongolia, a sacred alliance exists between people, ancestor spirits and reindeer. We are invited in a family of Dukha reindeer nomads during their migration through the forests of Mongolia's Hovsgol province. The oldest Dukha, is a divine seer, a 96-year old shaman, called Tsuyan. She is the link between the healing songs of the forest ancestors, her people and their reindeer. To live in harmony with them, people had to learn to respect nature and animals and to pass down their beliefs, from generation to generation, by invoking the song-lines of their deceased ancestors.

Some stills from the amazing music video by Residente - This is Not America. The art direction and general direction in this one is so awe inspiring! There is an undeniable beauty to violence serving justice.
The machete isn't just for cutting cane It's also for cutting heads
Here we are, we always are We haven't left, we won't leave Here we are, so that you remember If you want it, my machete bites

Elephants accompany cellist Jami Sieber / Part 2 / Living Yoga
A moving account of world-renowned cellist, Jami Sieber, playing music with the Thai Elephant orchestra. And here's a link to her song Mandlovu Mind (Elephant Mind): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7TbhAamwXMU
To Hope!
Lyrics:
Suddenly, I am a single mind extended Across an unknown geography, Imprinted, as if by a river, on the moment. A mind held in unison by a large gray tribe Meandering in reverent concert among trees, Feasting on leaves. One great eye reflecting blue From the turn inward Toward the hidden sky.
I am drawn forward by the lattice, A web of inaudible sound Thrumming and gliding Along the pathways we remember. I am, we are, Who can distinguish us? A gathering of souls, hulking and muddied, Large enough? if there is a purpose? To carry the accumulated joy of centuries Walking thus within each other? s Particular knowing and delight.
This is our grace: To be a note In the exact chord that animates creation. An ocean of mind moving Forward and back, Outside of any motion Contained within it. This is particle and wave. How simple! The merest conversation between us Becoming the essential drone Into which we gladly disappear. A common music, a singular heavy tread, Ceaselessly carving a path, For the waters tumbling invisibly Beneath.

Trudell (2005 Documentary)
Trudell is a 2005 documentary film about American Indian activist and poet John Trudell. The film traces Trudell's life from his childhood in Omaha, Nebraska, through his role as a leader of the American Indian Movement. It also covers his rebirth as a musician and spoken word poet after his wife died in a house fire suspected as arson.
{John Trudell was a major player in the Native American civil rights movement throughout the 1970s. In '79 he lost his wife, mother-in-law and three children to a fire in their home on a reservation in Nevada, a fire which occurred just 12 hours after Trudell set an American flag on fire on the steps of the FBI building in Washington D.C. Following the tragedy, Trudell turned his activism into poetry and music. Said best in his own words: "My goal is very simple. To communicate the human experience at a level that human beings can recognize and relate to. That may be a personal statement. It may be a political statement. But whatever it is, it all comes from the same point of reference: the experiences we share as peoples of this planet."} This is the full version of the documentary, but the website contains some annoying ads, just so you know (adblock). There's also one on Youtube but it has been edited down, about 20 minutes shorter.
The FBI had a 17.000+ pages long memo on Trudell...

"Acosia is from the Umatilla Tribe in the Plateau Region of Oregon. She caught on fire as a child, and half of her body was burned. Also, her dad was a Resident School survivor. As a result, Acosia lost him to substance abuse on her 9th Birthday. After undergoing these childhood traumas, she descended into a downward spiral. Acosia started on her healing journey when she picked up Jingle Dancing. She is a 10x World Champion Jingle Dancer. Acosia dances with @indigenousenterprise - a well-acclaimed Native-owned dance troupe that performed at the Super Bowl. When she discovered yoga, that practice brought further healing into her life. She is a yoga instructor @7genwellness_ spreading the message that “movement is medicine.” Acosia's story is a testimony of the healing power yoga can provide and how it can transform our lives. Her courage and resilience inspire us; we hope her story will inspire you too. To us, the message and purpose of a video are equally important as the visuals. This creative piece has been a reminder of how fulfilling it can be to pursue passion projects like this."
I will pass out into dream world now. Wishing you well...

Acosia Red Elk and the birth of Powwow Yoga
She is amazing! Just watch... "An enrolled member of the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation, based near Pendleton in Eastern Oregon, Acosia Red Elk fell into a fire when she was 6 years old, and spent three months in a hospital burn unit. That tragedy – as well as her experiences as a mixed race person and the death of her father – began a trajectory of trauma and anger until powwow jingle dancing helped her channel it into a lifelong healing process." Cheers!
