My Manifestation Story
By Josefine, Age 17
I’ve always believed in the power of dreams, but it wasn’t until this past year that I truly understood what it meant to manifest my desires. This is the story of how I turned a long-held wish into reality, and how the experience changed me in ways I never expected.
It all started last summer. I had just finished my junior year of high school, and like many teenagers, I was filled with uncertainty about the future. One thing I knew for sure, though, was that I wanted to be an artist. Drawing and painting had always been my escape, the place where I felt most like myself. But pursuing a career in art seemed like a far-off dream, something that only happened to other people. My parents were supportive but practical, often reminding me that art might not be the most stable choice for a future career. I didn’t have the confidence to argue with them.
Still, the idea of becoming an artist never left my mind. So, I decided to try something different. I had heard about manifestation from a friend, who swore that it had helped her achieve her goals. She told me that if I could see myself as an artist and truly believe in that future, I could make it happen. At first, I was skeptical, but I figured I had nothing to lose. So, I started small.
Every night before bed, I would close my eyes and visualize myself as a successful artist. I imagined myself in a cozy studio, surrounded by canvases and paints, with my artwork hanging on gallery walls. I pictured people admiring my work, feeling inspired by it. I didn’t just see it; I felt it. I felt the pride, the joy, the sense of accomplishment. I began keeping a journal where I wrote down these visualizations as if they had already happened. I wrote things like, “I am a successful artist. My work is admired and appreciated by many. I make a living doing what I love.”
At first, nothing changed. But I kept at it, reminding myself that manifestation takes time. Then, about six months later, something incredible happened. My high school announced a statewide art competition. The theme was “Hope and Resilience,” and I felt an immediate connection to it. I knew I had to enter. I spent weeks working on my piece, pouring all of my emotions into it. I kept up with my nightly visualizations, but now I added a new element—I imagined myself winning the competition.
When I submitted my artwork, I felt a mix of nerves and excitement. I knew I had done my best, but I still wasn’t sure if it would be enough. The waiting period was agonizing. I continued to visualize, reminding myself of what my friend had said about believing in my dream.
Finally, the day of the results arrived. I was at home when the email came through. My heart raced as I opened it, and there it was—my name listed as the first-place winner. I couldn’t believe it. All the visualizations, all the belief I had poured into this dream, had paid off. Winning wasn’t just about the prize or recognition; it was a validation of everything I had been working towards.
The prize included a scholarship to a prestigious summer art program and the opportunity to have my work displayed in a local gallery. The gallery opening was one of the most surreal moments of my life. Seeing my painting hanging on the wall, with people discussing it, some even asking if it was for sale, was a dream come true.
Manifesting this experience taught me so much more than just how to achieve a goal. It showed me the importance of believing in myself and in the possibility of my dreams. It’s easy to doubt and to let fear hold you back, but when you truly commit to a vision and work towards it with unwavering belief, amazing things can happen.
Now, as I enter my senior year, I feel more confident about pursuing art as a career. I know there will be challenges ahead, but I also know that I have the power to shape my future. Manifestation isn’t just about wishing for things—it’s about believing in your dreams and taking action to make them real.
To anyone reading this who might be feeling unsure about their own dreams, I want to say this: Don’t give up. Keep believing, keep working, and trust that the universe has a way of bringing your deepest desires to life. Your dreams are dreaming you back, and with a little faith and persistence, they can become your reality, just like mine did.

My Journey to Becoming a Music Producer
By Kevin, Age 20
Ever since I was 16, I knew music was more than just a bit of fun for me—it was something I wanted to turn into a career. It all started when I downloaded some free music production software, just to have a go. I was hooked from the start, spending hours in my room layering beats and experimenting with sounds. It didn’t take long before I realized I wanted to be a music producer, not just as a hobby, but as my full-time gig.
Of course, saying you want something and actually making it happen are worlds apart. For a while, it seemed like a long shot. I didn’t have any connections, my gear was basic at best, and I had no clue how to break into the industry. My folks were supportive enough but practical—they wanted me to go to uni, get a solid job, and maybe keep music on the side. But for me, music was more than just a side hustle—it was the main event.
That’s when I started looking into manifestation. It seemed a bit airy-fairy at first, but I thought, why not give it a crack? Every night, I’d picture myself in a proper studio, working alongside artists and producing tracks that people would actually want to listen to. I could almost hear my beats playing on the radio, see my name in the credits of an album. I didn’t just visualize it—I felt it, deep down, like it was already happening.
But I didn’t just sit around daydreaming—I put in the hard yards. I spent hours on end learning the ins and outs of music production. I devoured tutorials, read everything I could find, practiced non-stop, and saved up for better gear whenever I could. I started sharing my beats online, even though they weren’t perfect, and slowly but surely, people started to take notice. I began to build a bit of a following, and it felt like things were starting to click into place.
Then, earlier this year, something amazing happened. A local artist I’d been following for ages reached out after hearing one of my beats online. He wanted to collaborate. I was stoked—I’d been a fan of his for years, and now he was keen to work with me? It felt like everything I’d been manifesting was finally coming together.
We spent weeks working on a track in my makeshift studio at home. It was tough going, but also the most satisfying experience I’ve had. When we released the track, it started to gain some serious traction. It got featured on a popular playlist, and before long, it had thousands of streams. For the first time, I felt like a proper music producer.
That collaboration opened up more doors than I could’ve imagined. I started getting more inquiries from other local artists, and even a few from interstate. I’m not famous or anything, but I’m starting to carve out a name for myself, and that’s more than I could’ve hoped for.
Looking back, I’ve realized that manifesting isn’t just about crossing your fingers and hoping for the best. It’s about believing in yourself enough to put in the work, even when the odds aren’t in your favor. It’s about sticking to your vision, even when it seems out of reach, and trusting that if you keep at it, things will eventually fall into place.
At 20, I’m still just getting started. There’s so much more I want to achieve, and I’m grinding every day to get there. But I’m no longer that kid who was too scared to share his beats. I’m a music producer, and I made that happen.
So if you’ve got a dream that feels a bit out of reach, don’t give up on it. Visualize it, believe in it, and then work your arse off to make it real. It won’t be easy, but it’s worth it. Your dreams are dreaming you back, and with enough grit and determination, you can turn them into reality.

How Letting Go Led Me to the Man of My Dreams
By Sophia, Age 18
I’ve always been a bit of a romantic, the type of girl who daydreams about finding “the one.” So when I met Liam, I was convinced he was it. He was everything I thought I wanted—charming, funny, and good-looking. We had mutual friends, so we often ended up at the same parties or gatherings. Every time I saw him, my heart would race, and I’d imagine us together, like something out of a rom-com.
I’d heard about manifestation, and it seemed like the perfect solution. I started obsessively manifesting Liam. Every night, I’d sit in my room, visualizing us as a couple. I’d write down affirmations, “Liam and I are together,” over and over again in my journal. I even made a vision board with little pictures and quotes that reminded me of him. But the more I tried to manifest him, the further away he seemed to get. He’d chat with me at parties but never really showed any interest beyond that. It was frustrating, to say the least.
After months of this, I started to notice something about myself—I was manifesting from a place of desperation. I was so fixated on Liam that I wasn’t even enjoying life anymore. I was constantly anxious, always wondering if I was doing enough to “attract” him. My self-esteem took a hit because every time he didn’t reciprocate, it felt like a personal failure.
One night, after another party where he barely acknowledged me, I had a bit of a breakdown. I realized how ridiculous I was being. Here I was, trying so hard to make someone like me, someone who clearly wasn’t interested. I was manifesting with this frantic energy, as if Liam was the last guy on Earth. It hit me then—if the universe wanted us to be together, it would’ve happened already. But it wasn’t happening, and that was a sign I needed to listen to.
So I decided to let it go. I stopped trying to manifest Liam. I put away the vision board and stopped writing about him in my journal. Instead, I started focusing on myself—my goals, my friends, the things that made me happy. I began manifesting more general things, like self-love, confidence, and happiness. It wasn’t easy at first, but with time, I felt the shift. I wasn’t obsessing over Liam anymore; I was just living my life.
A few months later, something amazing happened. I was at a friend’s birthday party, chatting and laughing with everyone, feeling completely at ease. That’s when I met Jack. He wasn’t someone I’d noticed before, but that night, we just clicked. He was kind, funny, and genuinely interested in me—not in some forced or desperate way, but naturally, effortlessly.
As we got to know each other, I realized he was everything I’d been trying to manifest, but better. He made me feel secure, valued, and cared for. There was no anxiety, no second-guessing. It was just right. It was then that I truly understood what alignment meant. When I was desperately trying to manifest Liam, I was out of sync with the universe, operating from a place of fear and insecurity. But when I let go, trusted that what was meant for me would find me, and focused on my own happiness, everything fell into place.
Jack and I have been together for a few months now, and it’s honestly been amazing. I’m not saying we’re perfect, but it’s clear to me that the universe had a better plan for me all along. I just needed to get out of my own way and trust the process.
So if you’re out there, trying to manifest someone who isn’t giving you the time of day, take a step back. Maybe the universe has something better in store for you, something you can’t see yet. Focus on yourself, let go of the desperation, and trust that what’s meant for you will find you. That’s when the magic really happens.
