A new way to approach self care
Now I’m not❌ talking about the common tricks & tips:
Give yourself a bubble bath
Go for a walk
Read a book
WHY?
Because these are all externally focused, which can be difficult to carry out if there is a-lot of negativity, doubt, fear & anxiety going on inside.
I was always told I had to do something nice for me- but inside I believed that I didn’t deserve it 😕so guess what? I would never stick to it or it would feel like a chore😖 rather than a pleasure- having the opposite effect!
We need to take care of our ✅thoughts & ✅feelings & self-care from the inside out
These things take practice- but once these things become the new normal it will make all the external stuff feel so much ✅easier to do & actually 🤩enjoyable as your mind has bought into it & believes in the benefits.

Society and the world we live in places SO much value on how we look. So if your current hating yourself approach isn’t working, then it’s time to try 💯a new way!
I spent my whole life 😖driving myself, punishing & pressuring myself to be better & do better in everything i did. This was ❌not an effective strategy & I ended up struggling throughout my 20s with a severe ⚠️eating disorder & ⚠️anxiety I just couldn’t overcome.
This was a huge wake up call‼️ to start treating myself differently, with some care, respect & love like I would everyone else.
