I like this little parallel between house and wilson

in the episode ( I dont remember which one ) where wilson realises house still has feelings for stacy and suspects that something happened between them, he goes to stacy and tells him something along the lines of "I saw what happened when you left the first time and if it happens again I'll be the one putting him back together again."

and in season 6 episode 18 when house finds out about wilson and his first ex-wife, Sam, getting back together he says "you're a cold-hearted bitch who ripped his heart out. I watched him struggle for years to overcome the damage that you did. there's no way I'm just gonna let you wheel him back in so you can do it all over again."

I love how they both look out for each other in their own ways. wilson with his pleading and house with his threats.
