How intoxicating it is to take in the divinity of the halls of the royal palace , the way it's essence slipped back into his own. How easy it was to get lost in the awe of it all again , to not return properly to his home, but it isn't his place within the timeline. How easy it would have been to simply never return. ❛❛ You must be jesting mother it was not but last night we had the feast after the Battle at Vanahiem? ❜❜ he playfully banters masking the true turmoil inside. It was a lie but he had made his best attempts at masking his appearance, a enchantment from Sigyn, and woven into his braids. Thor couldn't risk running around as he truly looked, a hollowed shell of the aesir prince, marred with scars both physical and spiritual. ❛❛ Aye mother surely you know better. I have never been one for tricks. . . or mischeif. That is. . . rather we not discuss Loki. ❜❜ he says trying not to let himself choke on the mention of his brother, he could save him , storm the dungeon of Asgard to retrieve his brother. To tell him that he is sorry and that he loves him , no matter the evil he causes , how much blood he stains his hands with. Or if he were to reach for a blade and slip it through his heart. It wouldn't change the love for him. ❛❛ No. . . thats not why you found me out here, but I simply wanted to see how you were. ❜❜ he truthfully didn't know if his brother has rubbed off on him, or his true purpose here was necessary for him to keep up the illusion. ❛❛ Father seemed troubled when we last spoke. He seems to think my judgement is clouded. . . That I've got my head stuck in the dirt. ❜❜ he says without missing a single beat but maybe his father had a point? Truthfully he is surprised that his father hadn't sensed out the difference in him. In the godling beat the same power that is in his father, he had no magical solution for that, and he could only hope neither sensed it. After all he had managed to not be near Odin on principle , but his wisdom is vast. He had to know. The one question the God of Thunder wondered could he continue to keep up this ruse from one of the strongest witches known to Asgard.

𝐅𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐆𝐀  𝐇𝐀𝐃  𝐁𝐄𝐄𝐍  𝐖𝐄𝐋𝐋  𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐄  𝐈𝐍  𝐓𝐇𝐄  𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐌  𝐎𝐅  𝐌𝐘𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐂𝐒  𝐅𝐎𝐑  𝐀  𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐆  𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄  𝐍𝐎𝐖.   One  of  the  most  powerful  witches  in  all  of  Asgard  ,         having  even  been  the  one  to  teach  Odin  much  of  what  he  knew  ,  she  had  felt  something  ,  𝒅𝒊𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒕  𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕  𝑻𝒉𝒐𝒓 @stormbreaks.   Not  only  that  ,  but  the  woman  who  had  helped  Thor  in  whatever  mission  he  was  on  was  a  𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒅  𝒔𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕  of  hers.   Like  the  essence  of  her  children  ,         she'd  know  the  signature  of  Sigyn's  aura  anywhere.

No  ,  in  truth  ,  she  had  known  that  𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔  𝑻𝒉𝒐𝒓  ,  was  not  the  one  she  had  cared  for  in  𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔  𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒆.   That  changed  nothing  however.   He  was  still  Thor  ,  and  Thor  was  still  her  son.   Mother  to  all  aside  ,       there  would  never  be  a  moment  while  she  still  yet  breathed  ,  that  she  wouldn't  come  to  her  son's  aid.   Both  for  𝑻𝒉𝒐𝒓  𝒂𝒏𝒅  𝑳𝒐𝒌𝒊.

She  allowed  him  to  continue  his  charade.   𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓  𝒑𝒖𝒓𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒆  he  was  serving  there  ,  she  would  not  presume  to  interrupt  such  a  mission.         The  gravity  behind  her  son's  words  seemed  too  great  to  take  for  granted.   Kind  a  warming  smile  watches  as  son  continues  to  attempt  to  play  the  role  he  came  here  to  play.   Searching  for  the  𝒅𝒆𝒆𝒑𝒆𝒓  𝒎𝒆𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈  behind  whatever  he  was  saying.   One  thing  she  had  always  known  for  sure  ,       was  that  Thor  carried  so  much  baggage  on  his  heart.   He  always  had.

Finally  ,  he  says  something  she  can  𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉  𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒐.   A  way  to  tell  him  that  yes  ,         mother  knows  as  always  what  you  are  up  to.   Hand  reaching  out  to  place  a  calming  touch  to  his  large  forearm.   There  it  is  ,  she  can  feel  the  difference  in  aura  ,  both  in  him  ,  and  in  the  𝒃𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕  𝒘𝒐𝒎𝒂𝒏  she  had  known.
