I have no idea the context of this conversation but I’m gonna intrude with this thought:

I’ve actually been thinking the first theory for a while now. At first it was just “two purple theme parks” and grasping at straws but like. I think it could work in universe.

‘Cause like Winnie dies sure, but the park can still live on or rebrand without him (I think the line about “signal to the new adults” could even be signaling to the “new adult”/next generation to take over the park that they need to make changes to the park that Winnie was unwilling to do bc that would mean hurting the status quo and Atie’s legacy etc.

so then they would rebrand to the “hopes and dreams” park, to the point where it’s almost overcompensation. And yet there’s still unsavory things occurring in the park (as an example, I fully believe that the purple candy that the tumblr sexyman (I forgot his name) has in “Funny Insipid Candy Vendor” is the same drug that Winnie was taking in Wozwald). But overall MW Land had a more hopeful vibe and appearance.

okay actually abt what you said . Its very interesting to me that wozworld also exist . I wonder if both the amusement parks are related in some way . mayu has wozworld merch [woz plushie], so i propose two theories:

Wozworld was renovated to become mwland after winnie died, maybe? After his death i assume woz as a mascot just declined a lot and mw become more popular when the game was introduced if we wanna assume that it was introduced after like . 1947 i think was when wozworld was made . So its reasonable that mw came out in the late 90s-early 2000s

Wozworld and mwland are competing businesses, which is interesting bc of the inherent differences between the themes of wozwald and literally any mwland song, including mw itself . Hedonism [i think thats the right term] and nihilism vs hopes and dreams .

Now, about nine again . Could be cool if they were at wozworld and not mwland but lets be honest it was probably mwland . They were the biggedt muu fan as a kid trust
