Proposal for new fandom etiquette:

If you read a fic because it was linked/recced somewhere, you leave a comment saying "came from XXX" and that comment doesn't need to include anything else.

Because when all of a sudden there's a lot of activity on one particular fic I WANNA KNOW WHY!!!!!

it's nice when they include a disclaimer that the documentation was AI generated but I am also going to assume that means it doesn't contain any useful information. Which *is* an increase in efficiency for both parties because the human-written documentation it's replacing was generally also not useful, and now they don't need to spend any time writing it just like I don't need to spend time reading it.

But maybe also we could just not have any documentation in those scenarios.
