I have been looking for this chart series forever! I didn't know they republished them in a book - putting these back on my project wish list :)
My first ‘finish’, one of these adorable little tear drop scenes by Susan Bates in the Ultimate Cross Stitch: Oriental (which I highly recommend, it was my first cross stitch magazine and just perfect for me - all oriental designs,182 of them to boot! For just $14.95 AUD - Much better value than most cross stitch magazines). I really enjoyed stitching this, and I’m hoping to do many more of them! Stitched on 16 count aida.

Project 0001: Perfecting my instant ramen recipe
Since I work from home, I like to have low-cost lunch options in the house that aren't a pain to make, actually feel like a real meal (meaning I'm not hungry again in an hour), and actually taste good so I want to make them. My current version uses a Nongshim Shin Noodle Ramyun package to start, adding in two eggs (poach style) and fresh mushrooms if I have some on hand. It's good, but I know it can be better. I'm going to keep experimenting, but if anyone has any recommendations they'd like to send my way, I'd love to try them!
