Not 1002701 related but I have to say, it's fucking hilarious that Iemitsu's birthday is on father's day of all days.

Our Love is God from the Heathers musical is totally a TYL Byakuran/Tsuna song. It fits the vibes of the ship perfectly.

This April Fools, I have a confession to make.
I fucking hate 1002701. You know what, lets take that one step further. I hate all three of the Tri-ni-sette skies. Tsuna is just a wimpy crybaby, fuck him. Byakuran tired to take over every universe, super fuck him. And Yuni barely does anything, fuck her too. My real favorite character is.... I don't know Xanxus? Yeah Xanxus is cool.

Crack AU where the day after Tsuna gets the sky ring he enters into some sort of weird mind meld with Yuni and Byakuran where they can hear each other thoughts.
Yuni is just happy to have new people to talk to, even if the whole mind meld situation is odd, and one of her new friends refuses to stop talking, even when it's after 12 AM.
Byakuran is constantly talking to Yuni and Tsuna, even during the middle of the night.
Tsuna just wishes that he is unlinked with these strangers imminently, he's already dealing with enough with the whole mafia situation, he doesn't need two people talking in his head.

So glad to see someone else agrees with me on this! Also Yuni trusting Byakuran with being her representative in the same arc, despite all that he's done in the Futrue arc is so great. It's a top ten moment in Khr. In fact, I'd say most of the top 10 moments in KHR are from the future arc.
I don't know how "controversial" this opinion is, but it's probably unpopular. I think that 1002701 is the best ship in KHR easily. Like to me, it's not even a fair comparison (Though my opinion is definitely biased as hell) Like, the potential interactions they could have is so interesting to me, which is why it brings me physical pain to see how underrated it is compared to the more popular ships. (Not saying that those ships are bad. I enjoy myself a good 1827 or 2759 fic every now and then) It sometimes feels like I'm the only person on earth seeing this, which is why I made my blog, so I could spread my love for this ship and hopefully get other people to like it. (I also just really love thinking and making posts about them.)
no because you're so right..trinisette trio haunts me actually. They're so Good. 😭🙏🙏🙏 Yuni and Tsunas dynamic actually haunts me. And the things that byakuran put Tsuna through...and despite it, Tsuna cared enough to get so angry on his behalf in rainbow arc.
I'm with you, 1002701 are SO good.

#Hmm#I believe the ...not acknowledging any of that afterwards is#Both a narrative choice since it's still a kiddie manga/show and well.... Interesting because#Tsuna admits at that point to not having been able to understand Byakuran#So on one hand It was necessary to save the world he be that pissed#Because you can't hate and obliterate something you understand#Or at least not like that#Still that wrath was an interesting moment#I took it also as... Byakuran's dismissal of Yuni's humanity went against#The sort of goals and vision of his future Tsuna may have held then#Aka going to the past with and for the others#And later we find in that My pride is You@ his family moment and overall gratitude to them#That he wanted to keep thriving off his connections I guess#Which TYL Bya was really misaligned with and TYE Bya is so they can work on something#It's also really sad because outside of the *waves hand* bullshit issues of TYL Byakuran#The fact that Tsuna was that angry made them have zero mutual understanding chance#And I may be biased but there were some comments near and in the final fight#That Byakuran makes about Yuni's sacrificial tendencies especially#That Tsuna maybe didn't catch- Ie his perceptiveness of her fear of dying#And previously warning the wreaths he'd seen her do that in countless worlds.#Nevertheless that mental empathy fell flat then in the face of his single minded goal and actions#In fact it was Yuni who showed the most understanding in the whole thing imo#To Byakuran she said before she knows why she's wanted and that's why she can't come with him#To Tsuna she's been thoughtful prev fight.#Bless I love them all I'm rantingggg
I think that’s a pretty interesting interpretation! I agree with multiple aspects of it. I think that if Tsuna had known Byakuran before the future arc, it would have been much harder for for him to kill him, so in a sense his lack of understanding of him was helpful. And Byakuran must have gotten to know Yuni to some extent through the time he spent with her through conquering multiple alternate worlds, even though at the end TYL Byakuran saw her as a tool. And Yuni was most certainly the most understanding and arguably the most perceptive out of the three of them, considering both what you said, and how she was able to see the similarities between Tsuna and Byakuran, going off of Byakuran's comment in chapter 366. And I love all three of them as well, they're my favorite characters in the manga<3.
I always found it interesting how, for lack of a better word pissed Tsuna was at Byakuran after Yuni died.
Tumblr media
Because look at him, he's fucking pissed.
Tumblr media
(Btw, the x in one of Tsuna's eyes in this image is cool as hell)
Yet this happens while he's in Hyper Dying Will Mode, which is supposed to put him in a calmer state of mind. Yet Yuni's death invoked such anger, such hatred in him that it shown through his Hyper Dying Will Mode. And I don't think he shows this level of anger again in the manga (Unless I'm just forgetting something). And I think that if it wasn't for Yuni dying, Tsuna wouldn't have killed Byakuran, or at the very least, would have tried something like the Zero Point Breakthrough before killing him as a last resort. I think that once Yuni died, Tsuna decided that Byakuran had to die too.

#no bc true#tsunas wrath needs to be examined and i think abt this moment so so much!!!#the closest we get to him ever approaching this kind of anger again is when Yamamoto got injured in shimon arc#and tsuna realized that the only way to catch the person who did this was to go forward with the ceremony jfdjfjd#he was out for blood and the shimon were lucky to have made him like them first#they dont know thats a man who ALREADY has blood on his hands#but back to byakuran#i think its so interesting that when tsuna sees byakuran in rainbow arc#there's no guilt#there's not even that intense anger#theres just that cold “even at the very end i couldnt understand you”#jfdjfj anyway i hope you don't mind coming here babbling op!!!!
I agree! I also think it's interesting how despite their ...complicated history they actually managed to work pretty well together! Something else I find interesting is Byakuran's comment that Yuni apparently said that he and Tsuna actually had a lot in common, since it implies some things about the both of them. Though I guess Tsuna is already used to working well with people that tried to kill him considering how he adapted with Gokudera and Mukuro becoming his guardians pretty well all things considered. Also I don't mind at all!! In fact, you and @hopeswriting were inspiration for me to create my blog, so this moment is actually kinda surreal to me. But anyway, you can feel free to so something like this with me whenever you want!

You're right about Tsuna's anger but also, I wish the manga and fandom talked more about how Tsuna felt after that. Because like, he killed a dude. Tsuna. The little boy who never want to fight and is reluctant at hurting people, he killed someone in cold blood. I mean, at the end of the day it's just a manga and the author write him however she want, but I think it should have had an effect on him, mentally, after the DW mode had stopped.
Hello anon!
I see where you're coming from, it would have been interesting to see his internally reflect on how he now had blood on his hands, especially with how he refused to inert the sins of the Vongola bosses during the Vongola trial. Part of the problem is that after the Future arc ends, the next big arc, the Inheritance Ceremony arc starts the literal next chapter, so there wasn't much down time to see the effects that killing Byakuran had on him. And yeah, at the end of the day it's Akira Amano's manga and it was her choice for Tsuna to not really think about that, and we just have to live with it lol. But I also think it would have been nice to see something like that, either in the manga or some fanfic.

Since it's the holiday season, I want to know your thoughts on what the 10th gen would gift each other for Christmas. Also, I hope you had a good Christmas <3
Hi, thank you for the ask!
I don't celebrate christmas, but thank you for thinking of me, i appreciate the sentiment. <3 I hope you had wonderful holidays yourself too!!
Okay so, these questions are always fun to think about, but i've always been just so terrible at them zjeldksks. 😭 Figuring out the little things like these has always eluded me unless i just need to figure them out for a story lol. So i don't know about gifts (sorry, i know that's what your ask is about 😔), but i can totally see them agreeing to do a secret santa.
After celebrating christmas with their respective families, i can see them showing up at tsuna's house the next day to celebrate among themselves too. Or maybe it wasn't planned at all and they all end up showing up anyway because it's just natural by now for them to go "hmmm i have some free time right now. i should totally go see tsuna! If i don't see him every day, i'll forget the world is a beautiful place and that life is worth living, and i can't have that." (They all love tsuna very much, you see.)
Reborn says it'd be fun for all of them to wear christmas sweaters, and tsuna ends up with the ugliest and most embarrassing one. Naturally, it means gokudera also wears one. He couldn't tell you a single damn thing about its design (duh. all that matters is that the tenth and him are matching!), but he still almost manages to convince everyone else they're the peak of fashion in his effort to cheer tsuna up about them. Yams and ryohei wear one too good-naturedly, but that's it, just the four of them. Tsuna is irrationally annoyed reborn doesn't wear one too even if it was his idea and he totally saw it coming.
Haru shows up disguised as santa claus for no goddamn reason. 😭 (I love her so much.) With the round belly and beard and everything too. She loses the belly and the beard at some point, but refuses to break character at any point.
To keep alive the christmas magic for the kids, she says when tsuna asks her about it. And she even brought gifts for them too because of their secret santa! She spends their time together trying to discreetly put them under the christmas tree before it's time for them to open the presents so she can go "Oh, look!!! You've been such good kids this year, santa claus came again!!!" to lambo, i-pin and fuuta. She's everything but discreet in all her attempts, but everyone pretends to not notice it (except gokudera zjdkskdk).
The girls are also dressed in christmas colors and also wear reindeer's ears to compliment haru's disguise, and tsuna's too busy finding kyoko cute and pretty to question haru any further.
The girls are the ones to invite chrome, but mukuro shows up at some point too anyway. Coincidentally, hibari shows up around the same time too. But before they can use tsuna's house as their battlefield, reborn says they ought to go against each other through a snowball fight instead. After all it's christmas and winter and it snowed too and everything.
This time around too, they lose the plot of that snowball fight real quick lmao. Worse than before actually, because this time hibari and mukuro are also playing. It becomes nothing short of a life and death battle during which tsuna IS very much fighting for his life trying to not be hit by the most terrifying snowballs he's ever seen. WHEN snow is involved at all. It isn't nearly enough for what was supposed to be a snowball fight.
Reborn's also disguised as santa claus. He's disguised as the santa claus, in fact, he says. The original one who taught the santa claus everyone knows of how to do his job. Haru takes it in stride and adds that to her santa claus' backstory and acts accordingly from then on.
Reborn says he's there to make sure they were all really deserving of their presents. When they all look at tsuna's christmas tree, all the presents everyone got for christmas are suddenly sitting under it.
"reborn!" Tsuna shouts. "You can't just break into their houses and steal their presents!"
"I'm santa claus," reborn says. "Have you perhaps never heard of me before?"
"wow, santa!" Yams says. "You replicated our presents so well, they look just like the real things! You must have worked really hard on them."
"oooohhh," everyone else but tsuna says, taking it in stride.
Anyway that's how the Vongola's Christmas Family starts. They have to prove they've really been good kids this year to earn their presents back through various events. For one of them they have to build the most impressive snowman, so back to playing with the snow they go.
It goes well and normally for all of about 5 seconds. After that all bets are off, and it becomes more about stopping their opponents from building a decent snowman, and also about stealing snow from each other because there aren't enough around for everyone if they want to build the biggest snowman possible. Which at some point also became everyone's goal just because.
Another event is about decorating a christmas tree in the most aesthetically pleasing way. Surprisingly enough, both haru and kyoko have too much weird girl tastes about it to be at an advantage. Also surprisingly, chrome turns out to be very good at it, so along with Bianchi, they balance it out. I-pin can't fucking see the decorations they're even working with lmao, but she tries her best to help.
On the boys' side, both hibari and gokudera have very peculiar though very different tastes they're hell-bent on. It means they nitpick everything and argue about everything but aren't otherwise any kind of helpful. Lambo also isn't any kind of helpful because he's distracted by all the shiny, pretty decorations. Yams has no sense of aesthetic whatsoever and ryohei doesn't even have an opinion on it, so it falls on mukuro and tsuna to carry their team on their backs, with the help of fuuta's rankings.
Bianchi insists there just has to be a mistletoe event too. After all it's the season of love and everything. Tsuna's the one who ends up standing underneath it even if she was hoping it'd be reborn lol, and the first one to reach him is the one who gets to kiss him.
A very, very fierce and vicious and ugly battle ensues zjdkskks. But before anybody can start dying for real, reborn makes himself the winner. When tsuna goes to gingerly kiss him on the cheek per the rules of the game, even if it should be reborn who initiates the kiss, reborn kicks him in the face.
Wait, is that maybe too mean zhdkjskss?? 😭😂 Okay, let's back up a little. When tsuna goes to gingerly kiss him on the cheek, reborn makes leon kiss him on the mouth instead.
"what does this even have to do with proving we've been good kids?" Tsuna manages to ask at some point.
"are you questioning santa claus right now?" Reborn says. "Would a truly good kid do that?"
By the time they make it back inside for the second time, half of them are halfway through catching a cold. They warm themselves up under the kotatsu and with warm blankets while eating food and drinking warm drinks.
And that's the end of that because tsuna knows when and how to choose his battles lol.
Anyway once reborn has had enough fun at their expense, he declares everyone the winner with some excuse or another and calls it a day.
Things get chaotic again when it's time to open the presents, but they don't get out of hand. Before they do get out of hand again, and mukuro and hibari can leave before anyone else, they manage to all gather together long enough for a group picture.
They all had a really good time together. <3
And then they do it all over again for new year haha!!

Since it's holiday season, here's a headcanon on what Tsuna, Byakuran and Yuni would gift each other for Christmas!
Tsuna- He gifts Yuni a plushy of his box animal Natsu and Byakuran a shirt with two holes in the back to fit his wings
Byakuran- He gifts Tsuna a plushy of his box animal White Dragon along with multiple bags of marshmallows. He gifts Yuni a Christmas themed version of her usual outfit with red and whit coloring and a santa hat replacing her regular hat.
Yuni- Gifts both Tsuna and Byakuran with a necklace that has a picture of all three of them, and then shows off her own.

The Tri-ni-stte skies hold most of the power of the Tri-ni-stte, even with Talbot's invention running and taking away most of the need for the other rings and pacifiers in the system, they hold a great connection to it as the pillars for the Tri-ni-stte system. This, of course means that they hold a great burden unique to them, but it doesn't mean that they have to hold it alone.
Byakuran's burden comes in getting constant glimpses of other realities. Sometimes the separate realities blend in together for him and he's simultaneously having a casual talk with Tsuna while morning over his dead body. He has to force himself to remember that this is his reality, under the fear that if he doesn't that one day he'll simply forget, overwhelmed by the infinite other universes. On certain days it feels like he will slip away from his reality and end up in a new one, but Tsuna and Yuni will ground him in this one, remind him that at the end of the day, this is where he belongs. It doesn't completely ground him, but it does make it easier for him to stay focused on his reality.
Yuni's burden comes in the form of visions of the future. They come to her as she sleeps and while most of the time they are minutes, some last for hours. (One particularly long vision even lasts for 4 hours.) Thankfully, life has been mostly peaceful for them since the representative battles ended, so most of them don’t show anything concerning. But, they are in the mafia (despite Tsuna's multiple wishes that he and his friends could just have normal, non-mafia related lives) so some of them are a bit more concerning. Sure, at the end of the day Tsuna and Byakuran can handle themselves in battle (And so can she, if it is necessary) but it doesn't stop her from worrying, sometimes. Sometimes she's too willing to sacrifice herself for them, like her mother and an alternate version of herself did for the world, once. But Byakuran and Tsuna will remind her that she doesn't always have to be so selfless, and that she's allowed to be selfish too. It doesn't mean that she's used to acting selfish, but it does mean that it's a lot easier for her to.
Tsuna's burden comes in getting the memories of the past Vongola ring holders. After all, the Vongola's ring miracle means that the past experiences of it's holders are perfectly engraved into it, including all of their crimes and atrocities. Sometimes, Tsuna will go through an entire life of them in his sleep and has to remind himself of who he is when he wakes up. (And has to fight down the horrible feeling that comes from the memories of so many people begging him to spare them, and how these pleas are ultimately ignored and they are killed). Sometimes Tsuna's fight to not become corrupted by the mafia feels like a pointless one and he wonders if he will commit just as many atrocities as the other ring holders did. But Byakuran will be there to remind Tsuna of the strength of his character, and Yuni will remind him of all of the good things that he has already done, and it doesn't completely clear away his doubts but it helps.
The burden of the Tri-ni-stte is a heavy one, sure, but it's not one that they have to bear alone.

Flame harmonization has always been between a sky and their guardians. Never has a sky harmonized with another sky, no matter how close they are.
The Tri-ni-stte skies however, broke this norm.
There's nothing else you can call it but harmonization, with how Yuni's flames eagerly flare up whenever she sees Tsuna or Byakuran, reaching out towards them at lighting speeds, with how Byakuran's flames drapes over the other two like a blanket, marking them as his and how Tsuna's flames will happily merge with theirs, seamlessly merging into one entity.
They are truly happiest when with each other, connected with their flames singing out in harmony, flames together as one, like they were always meant to be.
