one of my friends has autism. i have adhd. she told me that adhd should be considering a form of autism bc there are so many similarities. and i just wanna get other people’s opinions on this.

i’ve been told by autistic people who don’t know me many times that my adhd is just autism, and frankly it annoys me. like i think my therapists would know me more than a stranger online.

i know there’s a lot of similarities but i also know there’s a ton of differences. so i just wanted to ask the general public (mainly just people with adhd, autism, or both) your thoughts on this whole thing.
