summary: Benny and reader adopt a new puppy together

a/n: I don’t know exactly if you wanted a fem reader but based in “the female” I’m rolling with it anyways thanks for requesting enjoy.

You and Benny had moved in together a couple months ago and had decide you wanted to adopt a pet

The two didn’t know what kind of animal you wanted to adopt but when you were walking around the animal shelter and you saw this little charles spaniel puppy Benny fell in love . Immediately.

Before you knew it you were signing the adoption papers and driving home with the little puppy in your lap.

The little puppy, you had named Mable saw her new home and immediately started running around everywhere her tail quickly wagging back and forth.

The two of you watched with smiles on your face as you set down all the new things you’d bought for her that was probably worth 200$ all together.

Mable sprawled out on her little bed the deep red color almost swallowing her whole.

As the sky got dark and it felt as though you and Benny had sat and simply watch her sleep.

You realized you should probably give her a bath so you gently scooped her up your arms and walked to the bathroom.

Because she was only a year and a half old she wasn’t exactly the best at bathing.

She jumped around everywhere shaking every couple minutes getting water and soap everywhere. Effectively drenching you and Benny in water and puppy shampoo.

When she was finally clean (after about an hour’s worth of effort) you pulled her out of the bath wrapping her in a towel drying as quick as you could hoping she wouldn’t jump out of your arms.

You and Benny fell on the couch exhausted you look over at Benny and jokingly say “is it to late to take her back”

Benny let out an extravagant gasps his mouth falling open “what no, I love her she’s my baby”

You playfully rolled your eyes before you both started laughing interrupted the small puppy’s peaceful sleeping.

snow flurries

Benny Weir x gn! reader

summary: you and Benny take a walk in the snow together

You walk side by side, crisp snow falling from the snow- slowly dancing with the wind. Winter was one of the times you could really appreciate the beauty of your usually bland and boring town if you ignore the vampires, ghosts, mummies, and evil dead animals coming back from the dead that you had to deal with every other week. Your arm was linked with your boyfriend's, Benny though your hands stayed in the warmth of your jacket pockets.

Even through his own scarf and your puffy jacket Benny could see your nose turning pink. He let out a hearty chuckle, "Wow we've been together for almost a year and I still make you blush" he said looking down at you, a wink following his words.

You had to hide your smile, covering it with a mock exasperated look on your face as you looked at him. As you look at him he couldn't hide his goofy grin. "Don't give me that look you know you love me" He said, the smirk never leaving his face. You playfully roll your eyes, staring ahead at the white street and trees with fluffy powder snow littering them. "Hey I'm trying to enjoy the scenery here, you are kind of ruining that." You said keeping your gaze forward.

You crouched down saying "oh I have to tie my shoe" Instead of tying your boots which didn't have laces you start forming a ball of snow hoping Benny didn't see. Though he seemed to notice your choice of show muttering a quick "hey you don't hav-" He was quickly cut off with a ball of snow being thrown at his chest.

He was rendered speechless, a look of mock offense on his lips that you couldn't help but giggle at. "Hey what about are truce" Benny whined with tone seemingly annoyed. "That was after the snowball fight of '23. It's a new time I'm a changed person Benny" You say with another chuckle as you stick your tongue out at him.

"oh ok" Benny states- before quickly turning to the ground to grab snowballs as you turned to do the same. You pick up as many snowballs as you can before you start running down the sidewalk. The once peaceful white neighborhood now filled with your yelps and flying snow.

You felt multiple bunches of snow hit your back as you ran away, before Benny finally caught up to you, dropping his small pile- wrapping his arms around you waist pulling you into him the sounds of your laughs now filling the neighborhood instead.

"Hey I think this is a little unfair because you're faster and stronger than me" You say that same sarcastic tone lacing your voice turning your head to speak back to Benny. "Well yeah but, you're prettier" Before you could even quip back so witty reply you felt you self fall over as the two of you had slipped of some ice that you'd missed when running from your boyfriend.

Thankfully Benny had caught you making sure you didn't fall on the cold ice as he had. A groan leaving him, you look up at him "oh shit are you okay?" you say biting back your grin that was still resting on your face.

He groaned again telling you that he wasn't okay. You stand mumbling "okay come on let's go home" you reach out to grab his hands which he takes as you pull him up slowly.

You make your way make to Benny's house, you had been staying there with him as his grandma was out of town for some witchy retreat to escape the cold. Benny sits on the couch with probably 100 blankets on him some rom-com on the tv.

Holding two mugs you walk into the cozy living room setting them down on the coffee table: hot chocolate with a handful of mini marshmallows for Benny. He pushes some blankets blankets away for you to join him on the big couch.

"Thank you, my sweets" Benny said kissing the top of your head the nickname making your roll your eyes in amusement. The soft blankets covered your laps and the mugs of hot cocca warming you from the harsh cold winds that swirled with the dying sun.

Your head lies against Benny's chest the movie playing in the back ground as you whisper "I love you" as your eyes start to droop with exhaustion "I love your too" you hear as you fall asleep to the feeling of benny's chest rising and falling with each breath and the soft sound of his calm heartbeat.

x Reader fics need to handle writing “reader” better sometimes

As a 6ft afab person who’s built like a man and has never been super feminine and has a more unique haircut that’s shorter I hate to read about “readers” petite, small, pale body and her “long flowy straight hair”, etc.

Reader is meant to be ambiguous!! And if it’s important to the plot please mention it at the beginning!!! If it’s not important to the plot why is it being included???

Some people who are reading may be tall, fat, skinny, short, or even somewhere in between. The readers could have a hijab, 4c hair, locks, braids, long hair, short hair, wavy, no hair and even more.

Stop making all readers so sweet and innocent, I want a reader who’s petty and sassy sometimes. I’ve noticed also that so many readers are either too baby to do anything or over powered.

Personally I also hate reading about obviously toxic men and relationships that the reader goes back to because they are “so in love”, like no please let me deck that sucker and leave them in the dust and be happier.

Also, if you label your post with the tag “___ x reader” or titled with “___ x reader” and then make descriptions and then ADD A NAME!!! It’s not an x reader fic and I heavily want to block you.

summary: you wake in the middle of the night seeing your boyfriend wide awake still shaken up from the nightmare he had awoken from.

a/n : okay so I haven’t finished criminal minds yet but after watching season 1 episode 10 this has been stuck in my mind and I need to write it but, I just love Spencer so much he’s so amazing I hope y’all enjoy🫶.

The bright moon was high in the sky, quietly illuminating the room as you and your boyfriend lie asleep. You rest peacefully quiet breaths, the soft rise and fall of your chest with each breath fueled by your beating heart. Though, you lie asleep as if you were a small boat on a still lake, the man beside you couldn’t stop twisting and turning.

Escaping the dream Spencer awoke with a jolt sitting up his eyes shooting open. Feeling this sudden motion pulled you from your own calmer dream. You slowly turn over your mind still drowsy from the abrupt awakening. You see the dark curls leaning over his face, his head in his hands. You reach up placing your warm hand to his bare back causing him to jump.

“Honey, are you okay” you mumble still trying to keep from falling back asleep. He turned to look at you as you slowly sat up, “oh did I wake you up I’m s-“ he started quietly. You quickly shook your head no saying “no no it’s okay what happen are you alright” your voice still low as you quickly checked over his body to make sure he wasn’t injured.

Your eyes looked back to his as he said “no just I had a bad dream is all.” Your mouth made somewhat of an “oh” shape as you nodded to his words. You had none of his night terrors for a long time and though it had happened less frequently there were some nights he couldn’t escape them. You pulled him into a tight hug as you always had saying “well I’m sorry, I just wish there was something I could do to stop them” your tone apologetic, your heart shattering every time you saw the small tears that would well up in his fearful eyes from the thought of all the scary things that would haunt him in the deep hours of the night.

“This” Spencer whispered into your hair as your fingers twirled his own messy curls. His words brought a smile to your face as you felt eyes begin to become harder and harder to keep open, the warm embrace acting as a blanket.

You pull away and reach your hands up to his face, the light stubble poking your fingers as you use your thumbs to wipe away the tears. Placing a small kiss to his nose as you whisper “i love you” hoping your soft affectionate words will bring him the comfort he needs.

He reciprocates the words with a quiet “I love you more” and you couldn’t keep from playfully rolling your eyes “that’s not possible” you speak softly your words bringing a smile to his face as Spencer wraps his arms around your waist pulling you closer, capturing his lips over yours. Pulling away as you lie down again his arms still wrapped around you, his head now lying in the crook of your neck as you bring your hands back into his hair running your fingers through it. Eventually, you both fall back asleep to the sound of your matching steady heartbeats and the comforting warmth of each other. And for the first time in a long time Spencer had slept through the whole night feeling amazing and well rested in the morning. Even with the bright rising sun that beamed through the light curtains shining into his eyes Spencer couldn’t help but smile as he saw you lying asleep, knowing that he’d found the one.
