Worked 1.5 extra hours today. Still gonna try and maintain the routine. Interesting how the improvement mindset attracts me. Had a good chat with my coworker, I think I gleaned some useful information about my standing in the company, or at least some better rapport. I’m still thinking a lot about efficiency. Routine is good, routine allows better use of my time I think. Time is so precious, you can’t afford to waste it. I’m going to listen to the SMM (self made man) podcast and take a quick jaunt around the lake. Before I go, I am thinking that it is amazing how we are able to express ourselves through a variety of media, you can literally understand someone who has been dead over 100 years’ thoughts and feelings through writing or other media such as art.
Maybe to improve as a person, you must train - train all your senses. Writing will help me, reading will help me  and I am sure listening to these podcasts is going to help me just as much as this walk.
Walk was.. hot. Mark Ford doesnt seem quite as well spoken as Porter Stansberry was in episode 1, but it seems like he has a lot to offer. Dinner time! Until tomorrow, bloggo.

So the year is 2017, five days in and I have just celebrated my 26th birthday. How, you ask? not by anything remotely festive as some might view. I have recently (see: this week) started going back to gym. So today I went to gym and decided to listen to the “Self Made Man” Podcast.  Episode 1 of SMM, by Mike Dillard features Porter Stansberry, an American financial publisher of note. SMM’s goal is to inspire change and achieving greatness in the world and betterment of the self. I have decided that this podcast is going to be a great way for me to begin the steps back onto the path of learning that I have strayed from in the previous years of uncertainty in my life - not to mention coupling it with gym activity being a great way to physically better myself also. I am slowly learning more about myself and having moved into my own apartment I really feel like I have finally got the base to really begin to make my mark on this world. I will cut this post short purely because I am hungry and feel like I could write endlessly about all the things I WANT to do, as opposed to actually doing them and will return tomorrow for my next post.
26 years and 5 days into year number 27, lets see what I can do with my time.
