The Beginning of the End
As Mr Jones fell asleep, all the animals got together for another meeting. Old Major gave the speech he thought about all week, and it was just enough to bring the animals together for the Rebellion. Knowing that the animals were prepared and the other pigs were finally ready for the responsibility of leading the group of animals, he felt the plan he was preparing for so long was ready to be put in action.
He knew that the animals themselves had to lead the rebellion, and that young minds at control would be nothing but good for the whole movement, as long as they were prepared to do the job. And even though he didn’t like to admit it, he was tired of the political life.
So, a few nights after he gave the speech, Old Major forged his death and went to live in an abandoned house, located in the margins of Animal Farm. He knew that between the animals he was the only one who knew about the house, and Jones probably had forgotten about the place, so he would be safe there.
That night, the old pig got his bags and made his way through the whole farm, and when he arrived at the little country house he could feel that this was the beginning of the end.
Old Major lived in that caban peacefully for almost a year and a half, when, in an unfortunate surprise he found something on the margins of the river that passed by that place.
The pig approached the pink weird-formatted object he found only to discover that it was Snowball’s body! Old Major fell back in fear and confusion; he didn’t have a clue what kind of disaster happened, but he knew one thing: from that day on his vacation days were over.
He sneaked back into the farm, already noticing that the revolution had happened successfully. Since Jones was far gone, the pig decided to hide at the attic of the house, where he had a view from the whole farm.
Old Major lived in the attic for months, observing all the injustices that Napoleon had done, and realizing that Snowball had actually died when he was escaping from the dogs, right after Napoleon took power.
Fortunately, the senior pig had a plan. He would peacefully destroy Napoleon’s empire by ordering other animals to do little chores. Old Major could never reveal that he was the one behind the plan, so he communicated with these random animals through notes under the identity of a pig who was already once respected: Snowball.
The plan was doing good, and Old Major would never be discovered, when one bump came along the way: the war between animals and men. Old Major was able to survive the first war and stay in the attic, but during the second one the humans would keep shooting at the house, and the pig felt obligated to leave the place.
He snuck into the battlefield and found a safe place to stay during the whole war. When the conflict was over and all the humans were expelled from the farm, the animals gathered in the barn. On his way back to the attic, Old Major finds something that he had to take with him, but hoped he would never use: a shotgun.
Seeing the farm go through a huge crisis, the pig thought it would be better to widen up the number of chores and anonymous allies he had, and so he did, in a desperate, but fast way.
On one morning, maybe a month after the battle, Napoleon set up a meeting with all the animals in the farm. Old Major realises that nothing good is coming out of that, so he watches it with attention from the window. When he sees that his allies are being discovered he has no choice but to get the shotgun and run to the place.
He arrives running and shoots all the dogs and kills both Napoleon and Squealer. The animals are all silent, and the sound of the wind takes over the whole place.
After all the killing, Old Major learns his final lesson: no one can deal with power the right way. He gets his shotgun and kills all the animals, one by one. After there is no one but him in the whole farm, he points the gun at his head and takes his own life, ending all the oppression on the Animal Farm.

Mr. Jones Won!
Luigi Dias, Francisco and Ricardo Machado - 9E
SYNOPSIS
What if MrMr. Jones came earlier to the Farm and surprised the animals? Would then a revolution start? How would the story be if an unexpected decision was made? You will be surprised by the new ending of George Orwell’s novella!
Arriving at the farm with at least a dozen men from Foxwood and Pinchfield, Mr. Jones walked by the five-barred gate with guns and other equipment. They noticed the presence of a group of pigeons, and killed them immediately because they wouldn’t trust any animal, making it impossible for Snowball and the other animals that were ready for a possible war to know they were coming. They continued to advance to the center of the farm, where all the animals were. The animals, on the other hand, weren’t expecting the attack from the humans to come in that moment, as no bird warned them from it. They didn’t have any attack or counterattack completely organized and ready, so as they saw Mr Jones and his men they started to freak out and run trying to organize their defenses, but it wasn’t enough. Mr. Jones and his men started to shoot and destroy everything in their way. The first animal they found was Molly, that tried to hide but a farmer from Foxwood shot her in the back. Boxer and his newborn son, Roberto Itiberê, tried to intervene, but there was a man behind them that killed Boxer with his gun, but had mercy and left the baby in the farm. The massacre continued, there were uncountable victims, some of the farmers were murdered too. The battle ended with a confrontation between Snowball and Mr. Jones, which got into a big fight. Snowball jumped into him, but Mr. Jones could luckly reach his gun and shot him into death. Then, the Animal farm turned back into the Major Farm. The animalism no longer existed and Mr Jones had a completely new farm in his hands.

Vision from the above
Synopsis:
What if the prophecy of Moses, Jones's special pet, was true? What could have happened if the animals had believed that the Sugarcandy mountain was real? As he flies in the sky and sees the execution, Moses will be telling you how the outcome for the animals’ lives could have been, if instead of mocking him and calling him crazy, everyone had listened. Check it out in the following poem!
Vision from the above
Cutting through the clouds
As I flew through the sky,
I looked down to see an execution,
an execution where my friends would die.
Standing all alone,
In front of the crowd,
Going through excruciating pain;
As Napoleon stood proud.
For protecting their eggs,
For stocking some food;
Who could have predicted,
Our leader could be so rude.
The unfamiliar smell of blood
That hadn't been in the air for a while
They were finally realizing
How their dictator was vile
As their lives were being taken,
And their corps were being piled;
Looks like Sugarcandy Mountain,
Was the only place they would smile.
If only they had believed me,
When I said paradise wasn't on earth.
But they'll have another chance,
And in SugarCandy they'll rebirth.
The pigs repeating history
From the man I once was the special pet
Cause these animals victory
Meant danger from the very outset
I hear their desperate cries,
But the pain won't last long.
I'll see them again in SugarCandy Mountain
Where they truly belong
Everyday will be Sunday,
When they won't have to work
Clover season is all year round
And happiness will be found
It's the place they expected
As they took over the farm
And instead of being disrespected
They'll finally be able to laugh
As my story have been told
I'm now going to welcome the new guests
Try to tranquilize them by saying
This is the place you will be able to rest
I fear for my friends who stayed
Napoleon has a thirst for power
And I don't think it'll soon fade
Not when they're all under his command.
And I pray for those who're coming,
For them, heaven awaits;
Here they'll all be happy,
And even restore their faiths.

The original rebellion
Felipe Hummel, Marcelo Alves, Theodoro Sarfert Franco Montoro 9F
SYNOPSIS
Have you ever wondered about what happened before the story of Animal Farm we were told took place? What if, long before the events we read about, Old Major, now young, tried to convince the older animals to make a first rebellion?
See for yourself how these events changed the Old Major’s younger self into becoming the boar we know and meet in the original story.
FAN FICTION
Some time ago, before the animals started making rebellions against the humans, there was a place in England called Manor Farm. This farm would turn out to be very important for animalism later. However, this story takes place some time before this all happened, yet it is crucial to everything that happened after.
This farm was owned by a young man called Mr. Jones. It was an usual farm: it had lots of animals and 3 employees. One day, however, the farm would change forever. The animals were communicated by the young boar to go to the big barn as soon as Mr. Jones went to bed. They were curious to know why someone like the young board called them; thus, everyone went there as soon as they saw Mr Jones room lights being turned off. They gathered themselves around the barn, from the old and tired boars to the young and energetic pigs. Everyone was quiet; they waited for the young boar to start his speech.
The boar seemed very nervous, but one could also see the spark in his eyes, just as he wanted to show something that he knew was going to be loved by everyone. After some time, with his thoughts organized, he began:
-My plan is to take over this farm, start a rebellion, and end the reign of Mr. Jones. We are able to end this terrible life we are living right now, the hard work, the small portions of food, all of this could end if we would unite
The animals were shocked. Rebellion? A life without work? These ideas did not fit into the old animal’s mindset. They lived their entire lives that way. Wasn’t Mr Jones the one that fed them to begin with? They didn’t know how to react. The old ones, disappointed, looked at the young boar tired. Unlike him and his energetic ideas, they didn’t like the story of a rebellion. It wouldn’t work either way. Why were they wasting time with such childish ideas?
However, the story was different with the smaller animals. The children, who didn’t have choice power, shared the same spark in their eyes. The young pigs, the young horses, etc. They all seem to understand the boar. Or, as they started to call him later, “Old Major”. Of course, some of them soon forgot about that. But their minds stayed the same. Later, these animals were to approve the Old Major’s dying wish of rebellion. But, without the older animal’s approval, the boar couldn’t do anything. At least not for now.
He’s speech skills were still in development so he felt that maybe his propaganda did not make so much success between the adults, however this was a hopeful kind of boar, which means that his hopes and expectations about the outcome of his speech were that it would turn successful at the end. So passed a few years and his increasing speech techniques would bring him to a new speech with the farm’s new generation of animals and then complete the little boar’s whole life retake plan.

Waterloo Battle
Sinopse:
- We all know Napoleon as a corrupt and hateful character. From the moment he chased and expelled Snowball, he took control of the farm and started to manipulate the other animals with his superior intelligence. But, what if, after Snowball was kicked out, he came back, killed Napoleon discretely and started to pretend to be him?
Text:
All animals in the farm were suffering from the bitter winter. The weather was terrible. It was cold and snowing. Because of that, the visibility was very poor. It was impossible to see anything that was more than five feet away.
One night, when all the pigs in the house and all the animals in the barn were sleeping, Snowball made his way to the farm’s fence. He dug a hole with his nout which connected the outside world with the farm. As he entered the farm, although it was completely covered with snow, the pig noticed that he was in the hayfield. As silently as he could, he tiptoed his way to the barn. When Snowball got there, he went to the window and peeked to see what was going on inside. All animals were asleep there except for the pigs, which were out of sight. But, because he knew Napoleon’s behavior, he managed to find out where the other pigs were. They were in the house. As he stopped looking through the window, a peculiar sound was heard. It was almost like someone's teeth chattering. He looked up and saw a black figure moving. It was the cat, which was shivering from the cold. As it was seen, it vanished from sight. Snowball ignored what had happened because he knew that the cat wouldn’t denounce him. He went silently to the house and noticed that the doors were locked. But, when he got closer, struggling to see because of the weather, he realised something was opening the main door from inside. He quickly hid himself under the snow and observed the event. Out of the house came the cat, which left the door open. Before Snowball could realise, the cat was gone. Without wasting time, he entered the house. Since he knew Napoleon’s greediness, it was obvious to him that he was upstairs inside Mr.Jones and Mrs. Jones’s room. The pig made his way to the staircase and started to go up slowly. Each step he took the wood creaked with a sharp noise. There was a long hallway with a wooden door in the end. He could hear the pig snoring as he got closer to his room. He walked across the hallway as quietly as he could and got to the door. Once there, he opened the door without making any noise and walked in. He could see Napoleon sleeping under a white blanket. Snowball got closer and picked up a pillow. Then, as strongly as he could, he started to suffocate Napoleon. With all his strength, he tried to break-free, but without success, he was killed. Once he was sure that Napoleon was dead, he carried him silently all the way to the kitchen and left him in the freezer. Snowball walked again to Mr.Jones and Mrs. Jones’s room and went to sleep as if nothing had happened.
On the next day, he was woken up early by a sunbeam as soon as the Sun appeared on the fields. It wasn’t snowing anymore and the sky was blue. He could hear birds singing and wind passing through the new green leaves. The Winter was over and the Spring had started. Snowball took off the clothes which were once worn by Napoleon and left them in the wardrobe. The pig put on himself the perfume which Napoleon used to use so that the dogs wouldn’t notice that he was an intruder. He walked out of the house and noticed something unusual when he looked to the tarred wall with The Commandments written on it. One of them was noticeably different from what he had remembered. The Fourth Commandment was printed as “No animal shall sleep in a bed with sheets''. As soon as he noticed the difference, he knew who had changed it. Snowball got angry and silently picked a wooden ladder from the storage, a bucket with white ink and a big brush. He went back and quickly corrected the eye-catching alteration. He wrote “No animal shall sleep in a bed”.
When he was done correcting it, he left what he used in the storage house. But, the pig unintentionally made a really loud noise when he closed the door. That sound suddenly woke Napoleon's dogs, which heard them barking. Just after that, Snowball frighteningly saw eight dogs running furiously towards him. They were the same dogs that chased and expelled him a few months before. He was too terrified to move. However, once they reached the scared little pig, the hounds didn’t attack and started to sniff him. In a few moments, they were wagging their tails. They didn’t seem to notice that he wasn’t Napoleon because of his perfume. He was really relieved. After that, he went with the dogs to wake and kick out the pigs from the house. Snowball went room by room with the hounds and told the pigs that they were supposed to sleep and stay in the barn with the other animals. All the pigs including Squealer said that this attitude was unfair and foolish. But, they went silent as soon as they saw what the 4th Commandment proclaimed.
When all the animals were awake, Snowball scheduled a big meeting in the barn to discuss some changes. He was really happy to see Boxer, Mollie, Benjamin, Cloverk, Bluebell, Jessie and Pincher. All animals were there, even the pigs. Just before the meeting, he called Napoleon's dogs and removed their collars. He said to them that they were now free and could join the others in the barn. In the meeting, Snowball spoke that because all animals were equal, no pigs would be allowed to sleep in the house. All animals would work and wake up at the same time. Every young animal would now go to school. He also said that the building of the windmill was going to be started that week. In the end, they all sang Beasts of England.

Molly as the captain
Martina Saad N°35, Estela Garrido N°36
SYNOPSIS
The pigs were the ones who controlled the revolution, until Napoleon took their places. What if Molly was kidnapped and got lost in the city, where she learned new things and when she goes back to the farm she starts controlling the revolution, and Napoleon never took part in it?
FANFICTION
Molly as the captain
Molly woke up with sunlight on her face. She starts her day with her typical morning routine. She combs her hair and goes to her morning walk, watching all the animals slowly start to work, but not minding the work at all. She continues walking, it seems like she’s in a fashion show. She walks for a long time, so her legs, all of a sudden, start to hurt. She could just go back by the way she came, but she remembered that the shortcut would be so much faster. Sure, it was dark and in the middle of the woods, but in her mind nothing bad could really happen.
She went all the way through the woods singing, but suddenly a dark figure comes out of nowhere and grabs her with a bag. Molly was so scared; she could barely breathe. She was shaking and couldn’t find a way to get out. Her legs were hurting so she couldn’t run, she felt so much pain that she passed out.
When Molly wakes up from her traumatic episode, she finds herself lost in the middle of a city. A big one. Something she had never seen before. It was so scary, but so beautiful at the same time. She tried to hide behind a tree, but it didn’t help a lot. Surprisingly, there was not a single human being. They were all animals. She felt anxious and sick, almost like she was going to throw up. But at the same time, her eyes were amazed by all the beautiful colors, the beautiful houses. A dog comes up to her. Molly got scared at first, but the dog was just trying to talk. “What’s up? You seem a little lost, a little scared. Are you ok?”.
She takes a long time to respond, “Oh yeah, I’ve never been to the city before...I was wondering if you could show me some places, or even where I can sleep, I don’t really know how I got here.”. “For sure”- said the dog, “My name is Khiara by the way. You can’t stay the night at my house if you need!”. “Oh sure, sounds like a plan for me! Thank you so much Khiara”
So, they went together for a walk, stopped at a coffee shop to have lunch and introduced themselves properly. Molly was happy, but extremely shy at first. Khiara was so smart, open minded and pretty, Molly could barely understand what she was talking about. The dog showed her so many cool spots around town. Everything so new, so wonderful. And when the night arrived, they went to Khiara’s. She was exhausted and decided to go to bed kind of early. When she got to the bedroom, she started crying. Molly was feeling lost inside, how could she ever go back to the farm? To her house? She was completely out of her comfort zone and didn’t even know how she got there. It was all too much to think about, so she slept, and waited for the sun to shine again.
A whole week passed, and Molly was still sleeping at Khiara’s house. They were definitely best friends. She wasn’t really afraid anymore. She walked on the streets, talked to people, and changed a lot of her personality. Khiara inspired her a lot, taught her things about empowerment and independence. Molly learned things about history, supremacy, control, power and how to be herself without affecting others negatively, about spreading positivity. All that ego turned into an actual smart person. Molly was more open minded and surprisingly nice.
Although her days with Khiara were nice, she had to find a way to go back to the farm. After a lot of research, she found a way to get there, where she actually belonged. She would love to live in the city, but she needed to go back for a moment. Her goodbye was pretty sad. Khiara was crying just as much as Molly.
“The city did change you, huh?”- said the dog.
“Yes, a lot...I’ll miss you and I’ll come back”.
After a tiring trip, when she got to the farm, all the animals were desperate trying to find her. They were looking for her during the entire week. Everything got settled down after a day or two. But they didn’t know Molly had changed, for them she was the same as before. She then started to change the animal’s mind about the revolution, one by one. Tried to convince them that the revolution wasn’t actually working. And slowly, she started to command the revolution like no one else has seen before.

The Pigless Farm
By Gustavo Rabinovitz and Antonio Le Grazie
SYNOPSIS
We all know the story of ‘Animal Farm’ and how everything that should have gone right went completely wrong. But we were thinking about how all the bad things that happened there only happened because of the Pigs, especially Napoleon.
What would happen if the only pig in the farm was Old Major? Was his presence the main thing to make the rebellion go wrong? Let’s see!
FANFICTION
The farm is now taken by the animals. After the successful Rebellion, all the men in Manor Farm had to leave it for good. Now, the animals make their own food, they all work the same to keep the farm sustainable. Old Major (god may be with him), had died peacefully from his high age. Now the animals live according to his advice.
All the animals were still exalted about the successful Rebellion, which had taken place two weeks before. No one could believe that the path of the farm had completely changed since Men treated them like prisoners, torturing them and taking all the food they produced. Now, they were free.
Even though Old Major, the only pig and the smartest animal in the farm, had died, he had taught almost everything he knew to the other animals equally, as he believed everything should be. As a matter of fact, the old pig knew how to read and write and didn’t teach the animals how to do that, saying that from now on, no one would need it because they would live like real animals.
The Rebellion left no sign that there had ever been men there: all the buildings were destroyed and set on fire. The marks left by the fire were covered with water from the nearest river, forming a type of a small lake for the animals to swim.
The other animals didn’t mean harm for anyone, by birth. So, none of them would try to reach a powerful position, making the other animals work more than they should, acting unfairly.
Mr. Jones and his men all left the town and started a new business, a bar. And no one would believe them if they told that animals took their own farm and won the fight for winning it back. That is why they kept quiet and never said a word about it to anyone. They only tried once to reclaim the farm, but the animals were really well trained by the teachings of Old Major, who knew all the corners of the farm and knew how to come up with a good strategy to defeat any threat.
Boxer was on the lead on the day of the attack, which happened only two 2 after the Rebellion. The attack lasted 2 good minutes until the animals had frightened the men off. No weapon was used by the animal other than their own bodies. That was the way Old Major had taught them.
After the Attack of the Men, nothing bad ever happened again. The animals were able to forget about their past. In fact, they even forgot they lived on a farm. They just lived. They forgot how to work, but were able to survive, because that’s how nature works.
After some years, there was no such thing as a farm, much less Manor Farm. The fences were all too weak. With one summer storm, they were all down. The animals, who didn’t even remember the reason why there were ever fences around the place they lived, went into the wild, for the first time in their lives, experiencing the life of an animal.

The Comeback of Manor Farm
Gabriel Elyseu Rhinow Nº10 - 9C
Henrique Faé Nº16 - 9C
Lucas Klug Nº22 - 9C
Synopsis
In the story of Animal Farm, it's clear that Napoleon is a great strategist and thinks about everything he does before actually doing it. A clear example of this is when he takes the nine puppies to raise them, making them loyal to him and soldiers of the farm. But what if the nine dogs were raised by someone else and turned out to be enemies of Napoleon? What if Mr. Jones, the original owner of the farm, kidnapped the puppies to raise them by himself? Which conflicts would happen? What would happen to the Animal Farm?
The Comeback of Manor Farm
A certain day, in the surroundings of Animal Farm, Moses, the raven, was flying freely when he saw a big event happening in the barn, where all the animals were united. He went closer to take a look and saw that one of the female dogs of the farm was giving birth to nine beautiful puppies. Right after they were born, Moses saw Squealer and Napoleon going out of the barn, talking quietly, so that no other animal heard them. He flew closer to hear them, but not enough for the two pigs to notice his presence. After a while listening, he understands what they were planning: Napoleon was going to take the nine new-born puppies to raise them as soldiers and protectors of the pigs, since they would grow almost to the size of wild wolves.
During the next few days, Moses was not seen by the animals of the farm and, coincidentally, the nine puppies had disappeared in the night they were born.
On the next day, Napoleon and Squealer gathered all the animals and told them about the situation of the disappearance of the puppies:
- Comrades, last night, our nine new-born puppies disappeared! Therefore, Napoleon and I didn't rest last night, trying to find who did this terrible act to nine of our own. After a long time, we discovered who is guilty: the puppies' own parents.
The dogs tried to argue with the pigs, even telling them about the human shadow they saw during the night, but they didn't care. Napoleon led them to a closed room, with no windows, food, or even water, so that they would starve to death to pay for their supposed crimes.
For weeks, the farm was as usual: all the animals, besides the pigs, worked most of the time, having almost no time to rest and enough food only for them not to starve to death.
One day, that seemed just like all others before, something was different. There was more movement near the farm than usual, and it wasn't because of other animals. There were humans surrounding the farm. For Napoleon, this was a war declaration and, therefore, he and the other animals started to prepare for battle.
Some hours later, shots were fired at the entrance of Animal Farm. It was Mr. Jones and the humans, who started an attack. Right away, all the animals went to the fights, prepared to defend their home from the humans. Despite that, when they arrived, something surprising happened: nine hounds, similar to the puppies who disappeared some time ago, jumped out of the cars, and we’re ready to kill anything or anyone that tried to stop them. Because of this, the pigs finally understood what really happened. Mr. Jones stole the puppies and Napoleon's plan, to use the dogs as soldiers, and defeat the enemy, but it was already too late. The only thing the animals could do was fight. One by one, the animals from the farm were defeated by the hounds until they arrived where the pigs were hidden. Without hesitation, the dogs jumped on top of the pigs and killed them all.
After the battle ended, Mr. Jones finally achieved his goal: getting his farm back. Now, the animals were all afraid of Mr. Jones, because they now knew his power and had no one to lead them into another revolution, as the most intelligent animals had died. From now on, the farm finally came back to its origins, being even more brutal than before, as the Manor Farm.

The new revolution
By Eduardo Rittes and Gabriel Nishi Uyeda
Synopsis
We all know that Napoleon was a very powerful leader. The only one that might have stood a chance to stop him was Snowball, with his brilliant mind, although Napoleon made quick work of him. But what if Snowball had come back for his revenge? What would he plan with the other animals? What would Napoleon do if he found out about Snowball’s hiding place? Let’s see...
Fan fiction
One night at the barn, where the animals were sleeping, strange noises were bothering them to sleep, so Clover got up and left the stable to check what was going on outside. She thought it was just the wind, although she had made a great discovery: she had found Snowball! She was stupefied. The pig said that he had to say something to the animals of the farm.
Immediately she went back to the barn and told all the animals that Snowball was back and he wanted to say something. All the animals woke up in astonishment, after hearing the news.
Snowball: Fellow comrades, I have been missing for quite some time. You might have changed your opinion about me, but what you have heard was false. Have been spying on Napoleon for a while now, and his fellow pigs, and I have made great discoveries. Napoleon has been tricking you! He claims to be working hard to administrate the farm, although he and his fellow pigs have been doing nothing all day long! He is using you, my fellow comrades! All of you work like slaves all day long, just to serve a pig that hasn’t done anything for the farm!
The animals in the barn were stunned. They couldn’t believe in what Snowball had just said. Most of the animals hesitated to believe Snowball. Then, one of the sheep, which was a strong follower of Napoleon, didn’t believe him.
Sheep: I don’t believe you! Napoleon wouldn’t do such a thing, he is our leader. You were the one who destroyed the windmill!
Snowball: How could one pig destroy an entire windmill? That’s impossible! The windmill was destroyed because of a storm that occured that night. You have been fooled by Napoleon once again!
Snowball: If you wish to stop working like slaves and to be free of Napoleon’s hands, there is a way! We must start a revolution! For democracy! For freedom!
Some of the animals that were more loyal to Napoleon, like the sheeps and the hens, weren’t quite convinced yet and didn’t believe at all what Snowball had just said. On the other hand, the other animals, like the dogs, had listened very carefully to Snowball’s words, and had thought about the revolution Snowball was planning.
Snowball: Well, now I must leave before Napoleon and his fellow pigs find out I was here. I have been hiding in the land between Animal Farm and the Pinchfield Farm. For the good of this farm and for your own good, do not tell Napoleon or anybody else I was here. - Snowball leaves the barn quietly.
The following day, Napoleon ordered all the animals to assemble in the yard. He wanted to discuss a certain incident that happened last night, one of his fellow pigs had heard some noises coming from the barn, which was quite unusual. Napoleon open discussion with the following words:
Napoleon: My fellow comrades, I have heard some quite disturbing news. One of my fellow pigs told me that he heard some noises coming from the barn yesterday, late at night. As we all know, at that time all animals should be at sleep. I was wondering if someone could clarify the situation?
There was silence for a moment, then suddenly, one of the Sheep responds:
Sheep: Snowball was there! He talked to us about starting a revolution against you, leader Napoleon! He said terrible things about you, he tried turning us against you, although I didn’t believe him. He also said he was hiding in the land between Animal Farm and Pinchfield farm.
Napoleon was furious, we couldn’t believe what he just had heard:
Napoleon: That miserable pig! How dare he do such things against me! He must pay for what he has done! Dogs, go find that bastard!
Napoleon ordered his dogs to conduct a search in the land between Animal Farm and Pinchfield farm, where Snowball was supposed to be hiding.
Some hours later, the dogs came back with Snowball, whose hands were cuffed and he was quite beat up. The dogs hand him to Napoleon, which he held towards the animals and said:
Napoleon: How could someone ever betray such a great leader. How could someone ever betray his own kind. How could someone ever say such things to his leader. How could someone ever try to plan a rebellion against his leader. I am very disappointed in you Snowball. This serves as a lesson to any other animal which attempts to do such things to his own leader.
Then Napoleon orders his dogs to execute Snowball. All the animals were terrified. Never again any animal ever tried to start a revolution against Napoleon.
Snowball was never forgotten by some of the animals in the farm. They will always remember what he has done for the farm, and deep down they truly believed in the revolution he was planning that night.

Animal Prison
Synopsis:
In the 4th chapter, the Battle of Cowshed happened and the animals won. What if Mr. Jones has a plan B and wins? What if the animals were expelled from doing? How would they get back to her? In this facfiction below I explain this idea.
Fanfiction:
After the Battle of the Cowshed, the animals were ecstasy, celebrating all night because of the victory of the war. They were not expecting that Mr. Jones had a plan B. Now there were 15 men, heavily armed. Mr. Jones had entered in the farm and nobody saw him, since everyone were celebrating the win. The ex-owner of the farm set fire in a place near the grange, to catch the animal’s attention. When everyone was looking the fire, the hired men walked behind the animals and catch then. Mr. Jones had the possession of the farm again.
The animals were all sold to a laboratory that test animal’s vaccine. The local was like a prison. People with guns and tranquilizers, walking over the entire complex make the possibility of scape low. With the money, Jones repopulates one part of the farm, now with “normal animals.”
They were desperate, especially Molly and Muriel. Napoleon, Squealer, and Snowball were trying to calm the other animals down, trying to show a good posture of power, although they were also afraid of what would happen to them.
They were out of ideas, for the first time, they felt like all other animals, without that feeling of superiority. At that moment, everyone was so afraid that silence dominated the place.
The hours passed like day and the days, like years. Suddenly, one idea came on in Napoleon’s mind, but that one would go against the rules created by Old Major. The plan is based on sacrificing the "inferiors", as birds and dogs, for a greater good. So, they would jump in front of the guards taking shots and tranquilizers, but heavy animals, such as horses and pigs, would take advantage of the fact that security guards would have to reload, and immobilize them. After that, the animals took the weapons from the guards, and would dominate the whole place.
For the plan work well, the pigs, especially Squealer, that have the ability to make speeches to change the mind of animals, would have to "control the birds and dogs’ minds" because these animals need to accept that they possibly will die.
So, it was done, and all the plan had work perfectly. Now the animals have guns, and more “army” to go back to the farm (since they rescue the other animals of the “prison”).
When they got near the farm, they separate all animals to enter all sides of the farm, preventing Mr. Jones from "breathing". A lot of battle after this episode the animals got their farm back and call the battle The Reconquest.

All with the same capacities
Pedro Villela, Eduardo Didier, Roberto Crestana 9 ano A
Synopsis
We all know the story of Animal Farm, and how the pigs started to rule the animals, because they were the cleverest ones, and after Napoleon took control, everything went down. But what if it was all different? What if the animals weren’t manipulated by the speeches of the pigs? What if all the animals at the farm had the capacity of arguing and expressing their ideas? What if the pigs could teach all the animals, in a way that all of them had the same brain capacity and intelligence?
Let’s see…
The pigs at a certain point of the story had the idea to teach all the animals some basic things, such as how to read. Certainly, it would make a difference if this project went well, and even further, in a way all the animals after these classes achieved the same intelligence as the pigs. Who knows how it would be?
The pigs had set aside the harness−room as a headquarters for themselves. Here, in the evenings, they studied blacksmithing, carpentering, and other necessary arts from books which they had brought out of the farmhouse. Snowball also busied himself with organising the other animals into what he called Animal Committees. He was indefatigable at this. He formed the Egg Production Committee for the hens, the Clean Tails League for the cows, the Wild Comrades' Re−education Committee (the object of this was to tame the rats and rabbits), the Whiter Wool Movement for the sheep, and various others, besides instituting classes in reading and writing. On the whole, these projects were a failure. The attempt to tame the wild creatures, for instance, broke down almost immediately.
The reading and writing classes, however, were a great success. By the autumn almost every animal on the farm was literate in some degree. But the project went further, due to the success of it. The pigs decided to teach everything they knew, in order to get every animal on the farm as clever as them. It took some time, but in one month they were able to teach every single animal at Animal Farm to write, read, calculate and think properly, in a way that at this point the debates included every animal, not only the pigs manipulating the others.
Now that all the animals have equal participation in debates and in planning, the pigs started to lose their power of manipulation, in a way that Squealer speeches didn't convince the other animals as easy as it was before. They started arguing back, giving opinions, sharing ideas and disagreeing.
Now, everything in the farm has changed, the pigs had no privilege among the others, all animal in the farm worked the same amount of time, and ate the same amount of food, with absolutely no difference between any of them.
Sunday now was a day for discussing the farm problems, in which no one had more voice than the others, so they had long debates and agreements in order to decide what was going to happen in the coming week. By the end of the day all animals agreed and were very excited to start the windmill construction.
Each animal had a function according to their physical capacities, for example, Boxer was responsible for the heavy work, because in some cases he was the only one who could do it.
They kept working like this for one year straight, always motivated and excited, in a way all the animals were working the same amount of time and giving all their effort to this. When they finally got it done, Animal Farm had a great party, and decided that they could have a week without work.
After the week off, all the animals came back to work, all have equal participation, same food and other things. They lived for the rest of their lives in an equal and dignified way, in a complete democracy, where every single animal had the same voice and power of speech. The most important thing, all were happy, with not even one difference between them.
The intelligence and others abilities were passed through lots of generations of animals, so Animal Farm improved each time more, in a way that they could maintain the equality and the control of the farm for a long time.

New Hope
Érico Karman 12 & Arthur Villares 03
SYNOPSIS
In the years after Napoleon’s death, Animal farm was still, an unequal and laborious farm ruled by those who are considered to be better, the pigs, It was still and again, The Manor farm.
The pigs that were born were educated to believe that the pigs are doing the right thing, that Napoleon was a hero for what he had done, and that they were superior to the other animals. But what if, among these pigs, one was different? What if this young pig could see the suffering of other hard-working animals? He was very confused about what was right and wrong, the pigs said they were doing was right, but seeing how unequal the other animals were treated he had doubts. Until one day when he was alone, far from the other pigs, an old pig came up to him, he had never seen himbefore, his name was Snowball.
FANFICTION
The Manor farm was still recovering from Napoleon's death, he was considered a hero in all ways, by all the animals. But the truth is that the farm wasn’t any better than when Mr. Jones was the owner, the only difference is that the pigs were in charge now. A new and prosperous generation of pigs was born in the year of Napoleon's death, and now, the new piglets were being educated, always being taught that the pigs were superior to other animals.
But one of the pigs was different. When he saw how the other animals were treated and he felt like it was wrong, so he was very confused about what was right or not, he was being taught that what he’d see was normal, but he would feel that it was not, he would see the suffering of other working animals.
One afternoon, he was leaving the farmhouse, when a scene choked him, it was a cow, in the ground, exhausted from working too hard, being hit in the back by wisps of a pig who yelled at her: “go to work!”.
In the same afternoon, when the other animals were still working, this different pig went across Napoleon's Windmill, next to the border of the farm, to think about what he had seen, and why this was considered right by his pig tutors. But suddenly, he heard something “psst!!” - an old, tired voice called him. The piglet looked behind him, in the woods, it was a withe, old pig, that he’d never seen before, with scratches and scars in his whole body. “Who are you?” - said the piglet, surprised. “I’m Snowball, I was once a part of the farm, actually one of the leaders, until Napoleon betrayed me”...
Since the young pig met Snowball, he started meeting him alone, at dark, because his now mentor would say that he could not be seen by anyone. With this, Snowball started mentoring and showing the piglet how the world really was, opening the young pig’s eyes to the inequality that other animals suffered and also telling the true story of the farm. He told that the humans used to rule the farm, mistreating the animals, but the animals revolted against them with the idea of creating a better farm where all animals would be treated the same way, until Napoleon, after kicking out snowball, started to slowly give more privileges to the pigs, until the pigs became the same as humans.
But one night, the learning pig was quietly leaving the farmhouse to meet up with Snowball, but he didn’t know he was being followed by another animal. He was already talking to his mentor when they both heard something. They turned themselves backwards and saw three of the ruling pigs looking at them, “Step aside” - said the older of the pigs to the piglet “I’ve never thought you would come back, Snowball.” - “Me neither, Squealer” - Said back Snowball. - “How dare you to come back after everything you’ve done?” replied squealer. “I’ve done nothing wrong.”- said Snowball “You are the ones that destroyed everything Animal Farm had built, I’m glad Napoleon died”. After hearing that the pigs immediately ran in Snowball's direction, knocked him out and took him as a prisoner.
In the next morning, all the animals got together, and saw Squealer, the dogs, and Snowball in front of the barn. “We’ve done it comrades! We've finally captured Snowball! the one against the prosperity of Manor Farm since the beginning! And now, comrades, he will pay for all his crimes against all the animals!” After that, the dogs ran over Snowball, who was already very old, killing him. The piglet after watching this was in shock, and realised that what Snowball had told him was true, the pigs were ruthless and manipulators.
After Snowball’s murder, the piglet, because of his visits to snowball at night, was banned from the farmhouse and condemned to hard work with the other animals for the rest of his life.
10 years later, the piglet had grown old, and during his life, because he was a pig working with the other animals considered “inferior”, all the animals trusted him, like if he was equal to the other animals not to the pigs.
One night, after seeing the farmhouse’s light goes out, the old pig brought together all the animals in the barn of the farm. In there, after every animal was in, the pig, whose name was Major, gave a speech:
“Now, Comrades, do you realise that the pigs don’t work, yet they are the ones with more privilege? When we are born, we are given just so much food as will keep the breath in our bodies. What is the nature of this life of ours? The pigs think they are superior; therefore, they manipulate us, we have to fight back! I’ve once heard a song called Beast of England to motivate us”. He started singing and everyone sang along, with the hope that one day they would be free.

Benjamin’s Letter
Added later: Pedro Patriarca and Luiz Henrique
Synopsis:
In the last chapter, Napoleon has a meeting with other farm owners and reinstates the Manor Farm, as few animals remember what happened in the revolution. But what if Old Benjamin told the animals what really happened in the old days? What if he could convince them that the pigs were being authoritarian? What if he could even take the power from the pigs? And what could possibly happen if the pigs discovered? Would the pigs still rule the farm? Let’s see in Old Benjamin’s point of view.
Fanfiction:
That evening, I was heading to the farm buildings to get some rest after a long day of work, when I heard Clover shouting. I turned to her, even though I could not hear what she was saying. I was heading to her when I saw in the yard what was enough for me. It was Squealer, walking in his hind legs, like men. And this was not all. After him there were several pigs doing the same. Some better than others, some with the help of a stick. All of them marching through the yard. Worse of all were the sheep, chanting the louder than they could ‘Four legs good, two legs better’. I did not remember the lyrics well, but I am sure it was not like this. Clover had the same thoughts as mine and suggested that we went see the Seven Commandments. We went there immediately, and she asked me if I thought the commitments were the same, she said that even though she was old she did not remember the commitments like this. As she could not read, I read out loud to her: ALL ANIMALS ARE EQUAL BUT SOME ANIMALS ARE MORE EQUAL THAN OTHERS. I was sure it was not like this.
There were Seven Commandments, and not just one. Things are changing a lot, and the pigs are making all the decisions on their own. This is not a rebellion, but a dictatorship and it cannot prevail like that. It is a dictatorship built on fear and censorship. Nobody has courage to fight the dogs. What if I could tell them the true story and convince them that this is a dictatorship. Would they believe me and if I tell the animals all the truth, what would they do to me? I would need to wait until the right moment, if the pigs discovered what I was planning to do, I do not really know what would happen to me.
A week later, the pigs were occupied and were not looking at us while we worked (In fact, later that day, the pigs were at a meeting with Mr. Pilkington). It was the perfect time to make a speech and bring the truth to all the animals that were suffering. With the help of Clover, I called them all to the cowshed and started my speech. I told them about the Old Major dream, the dream that idealized all the rebellion, a place where all the animals could be equal and no other could be more important, where the animals would work by themselves with no humans forcing us to work, I told the whole truth from the rebellion to the present day in all the details : since the privilege that the pigs always had.
The milk, the fact that they didn’t work, until the day they sent an old friend called Boxer to death, the constant change of commandments, the censorship in the battle of the cowshed history and many more events, in fact, all about their tyranny. They all looked incredibly happy and hopeful. I was proud of myself and could already imagine us taking the pigs from the power and living peacefully. However, it all went bad for me. Some days later, I was walking to work calmly when suddenly I was attacked by the hounds. They captured me and put me in a bag.
Sometime later, my bag was laying on a cold floor and the hounds told me to leave it. I could barely see, but I recognized Clover by my side. I was going to talk to her, but they took her, and I have never seen her since, so I assume they’ve killed her. I am alone here for maybe a month or two and still have not spoken to anyone. I am being fed with some seeds and water and do not know what to do now. I am writing this letter from prison, hoping that someone in the future can read it and bring down the pig’s tyranny. By the time you read this, I should be dead, so please take forward this idea and bring down the pigs from power.

Imagine if...
Beatriz Shih, Julia Rezende, Manuela Queiroz Synopsis
What if the story of Animal Farm were told from Snowball's perspective? "Imagine if" presents part of the book's storyline, from a new point of view, in which Napoleon's ruling actions, thoughts and outlooks are not the main portrayal of the narrative.
Fanfiction
If only had I known that I would be forced out of the farm, there is just so much that I would have done differently…
For starters, I wish I had understood, while I was there, how manipulative and controlling Napoleon was towards, not only me, but also the other animals. I only came to realize this when I stopped listening to his orders due to my expulsion from what had been my home for the longest time. The red flags were always there: compel me into locking the puppies up, and making it seem that it was for the best, forcing me to hide the milk and apples, in order for only us to have access to it, which he convinced everyone that was for the best since the pigs were the ones to control everything, the lack of interest in educating all of the animals the same way we had learnt, by using Jones's old abandoned books; the list just goes on and on.
Moreover, Napoleon, just like Old Major, was able to easily convince the animals, besides always getting what he wished, and if there were any consequences, we would just figure a way out of trouble. He would mostly appeal to the animal's emotions, by making usage of fear, rhetorical questions to make the answer he wanted seem obvious and coherent. And, although I was also one of the pigs that were in charge, the many ideas that I came up with, most of the time, my ideas would end up not going through due to some kind of barrier. However, one of the few that ended up working out was the teaching, even though the majority of the Comrades ended up learning very few things, on nothing at all.
Therefore, had I invested and insisted more in the education of all animals the same, and so teaching them with the same materials we, pigs, had used to learn how to read and write properly, everyone would have understood the laws, and prevented the manipulation conducted by Napoleon and Squealer. Amongst that, the multiple excuses made in order for them to use the old beds and their shallow explanations to their contact and agreements that were being made with humans.
But for me, the breaking point was when I realized how Napoleon had completely forgotten about all the Seven Original Commandments: he was simply creating his own laws, by transforming the old ones. As said earlier, firstly, he established a commercial partnership with the human owners of neighboring farms; then, he started to acquire human habits, such as sleeping in beds, wearing clothes, drinking alcohol, all of which were completely prohibited from the very beginning of the Revolution.
Furthermore, another ideal that is broken is "No animal must ever tyrannize over his own kind". Napoleon trained the puppies for his own benefit, expelled me, imposed his ideals and decisions on all other animals all because he had the power and knowledge to do so. And also, I heard about the murder. A pile of animals that apparently had contradicted Napoleon's orders were killed by his dogs (the puppies trained to serve him). Three hens, four pigs, a goose and three sheep were killed.
After that, both Napoleon and Squealer tried to make me look bad from the animal's points of view. They blamed me for the destruction of the windmill and for working with Jones from the very beginning.
They also said that I was secretly frequenting the farm by night and, creeping in under cover of darkness, performed all kinds of mischief: the cows declared that I would creep into their stalls and milk them in their sleep, stole the corn, upset the milk-pails, break the eggs, trample the seedbeds, gnaw the back of the fruit trees. Basically, whenever something went wrong, it was immediately associated with me.
If I had realized all of this earlier… perhaps the Animal Farm would have been the success that Old Major promised, which was what all of us thought it would be in the beginning.
