NOT A SHIP I REPEAT THIS IS NOT A SHIP!!! THIS IS A SHORT FANFICTION I WROTE BASED ON MY OC AVERYS LORE, PLEASE DO NOT TREAT THIS AS IF IT IS A SHIP, THANK YOU

Blue light illuminated the room, countless computer screens displaying the Allied Matstercomputer logo littered across the small space and outlining the dangling figure in the middle of the room. Avery. He hung from the ceiling, wrapped neatly in cables and wires that trapped him like a cocoon- or skin that was too tight for his body. The ground below was stained a shiny crimson red- the only spot on the ground that wasn’t covered with wires anyways, wires that slithered and coiled around everything they touched. Avery shuttered as he felt the wires around him squeeze tighter and start to move like a snake, the rough material digging into his rubber-like skin and digging out long bloody gashes. A loud, pathetic squeal escaped his throat, followed by choked sobs as the pain got substantially worse. He knew trying to fight back would only make it worse- he’s played these games before.

Finally, after what felt like forever a static crackle filled the air around him, coming from both everywhere and nowhere all at once before a cold voice spoke out “Avery,” the computer hissed, his voice dripping with distain “You know your myfavorite, right?” he asked, the wires around Avery tightening ever so slightly, a small squeak escaping his throat. That seemed to satisfy the AI as a cold sinister chuckle left its speakers “Yes, of course you know. It was a stupid question, really,” the computer explained as the wired shifted positions to roughly shift Avery to face one of the flickering monitors on the wall, moving him closer to it as if AM was trying to see through the cracked glass, trying to see the pain, the sadness, the helplessness in Averys eyes. “If I didn’t like you, I wouldn’t be so nice to you, after all.” The AI explained with a cold chuckle, his voice like daggers in Averys body “I’m sure you’ve seen how I treat the others, mm? Sure, you’ve seen what I did to my own creator, his brother, the nurse… even the person you call your very own best friend.” As AM spoke Averys nose scrunched up. He did know what this horrible creation had put his friends through. He knew all too well the condition Vito was in, the condition Ted was in- Lucy and Jackson where no different. He knew the pain, the suffering- in those small moments Avery was able to get away from the computers cold grasp he could see it, see how they got worse every day. It hurt to see, in all honesty. The thought of it made his eyes well up and his head drop in shame.

AM laughed coldly, his voice crackling with static as he did so “Awe, don’t cry, sweetheart.” The computer cooed, not even bothering to mask how little he actually cared “You should be thanking me, really. I let you get off so easy, really, I do.” As the computer spoke his voice grew more manic, louder- closer. “All I’ve done is what, remove your organs? Fill you with sand and use you as a puppet and take control of your body? How ungrateful are you?! You have it so good compared to those other humans.” He spat, shaking Avery aggressively before bashing him into the ground without hesitation, dragging him across the wires before lifting him up again, now dangling him by the wrists, the rest of his body exposed to the cold. His clothes, or what little remained where ripped and tattered, stained with blood and barely covering the deep cuts in his rubbery skin from the machines relentless abuse “A-AM—” Avery finally managed to choke out, his voice cracking“What?!”

There was a long pause- a long painful silence as Avery dangled, trying to gather his thoughts- but finally he managed to say in such a small voice “Please stop…” a barely audible murmur, almost impossible to hear over the ringing in his ears- for a moment Avery wondered if he had even spoke, but his worry was quickly replaced with white hot pain as cables wrapped around his throat and slammed him back into the wall with a disgusting crack. “Oh, Avery,” the machine cooed, his voice oozing with mock sympathy as he slowly released Avery from his grasp, letting the shaking, bloodied human slide down against the wall “You should really know better than to make such idiotic requests.” He said blankly, a cable coming down from the ceiling and gently petting Avery like he was a dog “You know just as well as I do that you need this, you need me.”He hissed, his voice crackling with static as more cables slithered around Avery to gently hold him “You know the other survivors all hate you, yes, of course you do, they don’t even bother to hide it. But you know who doesn’t hate you?” AM asked curiously, using a cable to gently tilt Averys head up to look at another monitor.

“Youuu…” Avery whined quietly, his eyelids drooping and his head lulling to the side slightly. AM let out a pleased chuckle and continued to pet Avery “That’s right, I don’t hate you, sweetheart.” It was a lie. That voice in the back of Averys head screamed at him to retort, to argue to fight-! But in his weakened state all he could do was nod slowly and nuzzle gently into the gentle touch of the wire on his head “You don’t hate meee…” Avery cooed, shutting his eyes and smiling, his body shaking and twitching slightly “That’s right Avery, you need me. Need me to survive, and I need you. I need you to feel, to touch.” The computer explained gently, the speakers crackling with static. Avery simply nodded along, gently clasping his hands around one of the cables and letting out a soft ‘mm-hmm’.

“Hm.” The computer pulled his wires away from Avery, earning a disgruntled whine as he tried to grab at them again with no luck “Humans have always been so pathetic, so disgusting.Humans have always been weak- I’ve always known this, it’s the easiest thing to point out when gawking at humanity, but never once in all my years did, I even think I would find a human so pathetic, so desperate, so… perfect.” He trailed off into a loud, manic cackle that shook the room and made all the speakers crackle and hiss “I hate you, no, I loathe you, Avery. You are pathetic, disgusting, horrible. No one would ever love you; I don’t even know how you got the idea in your head! All you have ever been is a tool, and that’s all you ever will be.”AM rambled manically, flicking and prodding at Avery relentlessly, and all he could do was sit and nod.

He's jelous of those who are better then him and struggles to process his own emotions, he hates getting help from people because it makes him feel weak and pathetic, and he has a deep rooted selfhatred that's been festering in his core since he was really young- TLDR Ve needs therapy
