• gorou/hina is meant as an analogy for transfem eggs and i WILL die on this hill

• kokomi has the trans flag colors. 👁️👁️ /hj but also itd be SUPER adorable if she basically took babytrans hina under her wing to help her with all things transition.

• heizou – no clue if those scars on his chest have any actual lore explanation but fuck it theyre top surgery scars now ive decided. he very much has the transmasc swag too

• shinobu – i saw someone once point out how good of an ftm character she would be, with the theme of leaving the person her parents wanted her to be behind and carving her own path (or in this case his), and the minor detail of "used to be a shrine maiden" would be the only hint to him being trans at all. its SUCH a fun concept, tho i do love our tomboy girlboss 🙏

• collei – (looking at manga vs game design) congrats on your transition, girly 🫶 she als just has the transfem ✨vibe✨

• tighnari – i actually do not see as ftm, to me he more has the vibe of amab nb or gnc cis man

• cyno – again going on vibes alone, i do really like ftm cyno 🙏 also growing up trans literally living in a university, he wouldve 100% had the privilege of getting treatment early (hooray for puberty blockers!!!) which also makes sense with him showing his chest/not having top surgery scars, lucky bastard never had chest growth in the first place 😪

• wanderer – like with hina, im quite certain he was at least partially written to represent an aspect of trans lives. namely the struggles with dysphoria and identity crises; him constantly changing names and identities, deeply wanting a body/body part that he doesnt have (in his case a human heart, in our case a di–)
