"I'VE DONE EVERYTHING ON MY OWN, NO ONE HAS EVER HELPED ME" types some one on a computer or phone he did not make, onto a social media site made by some one else and maintained by hundreds more, specifically to SPEAK to other humans and have his statement SEEN by them, while wearing clothes he did not sew made of out of materials he did not create made from plants and other things he did not grow or cultivate.
He sits on a chair he did not make and would not even know HOW to make, made of wood from a tree another human planted on purpose, with the future of other humans and this world in mind as they did.
"I'M INDEPENDENT, AND ALL OF MY SUCCESS HAS BEEN MY OWN BOOTSTRAPS, CUCKS" he continues to type, ignoring that his job was only secured because he had friends in the right places at the right time willing to help him out and get his foot in the door, ignoring the schooling and training necessary to be good at this job that he needed others to help him learn, ignoring the car he drives to work and back every day that wouldn't have existed at all if not for years of engineering and perfecting of this model by countless humans who've come before him.
"GET ON MY LEVEL" he finishes his comment, laughs, and continues to eat the lunch made of ingredients he did not grow or kill. He closes his app, satisfied with his own prowess, never once noticing the thousands of human lives who've made this comment he left even possible.

actually it's now called Microsoft 365 Copilot formerly Microsoft 365 formerly Office 365 which incorporated features of the defunct The Business Productivity Online Suite Standard on Microsoft Online Services which was based on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (now SharePoint) formerly Windows SharePoint Server and Microsoft Exchange Server the successor to Microsoft Mail Server formerly Microsoft Mail for PC Networks v2.1 which was based on Network Courier these are parts of Windows Server formerly Windows NT Server formerly Windows NT 3.1 Advanced Server operating system based on the Windows NT operating systems that succeeded MS-DOS formerly 86-DOS based operating systems.
L, imagine needing to buy office, the versions I run are nearly or over 10 years old at this point -vista
Imagine buying Microsoft 365 (formerly Office) when you can easily subscribe to it and pay monthly (or yearly, but this gives you an evil bad discounted price). Couldn't be me! tmas github

I might wait for it to come out on apt :/
Have you seen the new package? It's on synaptic. It's literally on flatpack. It's on pacman with extra. It's on AUR. You can watch it on AUR. You can go to AUR and watch it. Log onto AUR right now. Go to AUR. Dive into AUR. You can AUR it. It's on AUR. AUR has it for you. AUR has it for you.

I find the people who get so livid when you don't say "GNU/Linux" hilarious.
The argument is that Linux is just a kernel, not the OS. In terms of parts of a car, it's said Linux is the engine and GNU is the wheels.
I make a counterargument though. Of what we consider to be Linux distros, not all of them utilize GNU packages. In fact, if I remember correctly, many are moving away from that.
Technically speaking, all the distros are each their own OS. But regardless of difference in any other tools used to make each OS, the one consistent common factor between all of the distros is the Linux kernel.
In other words, to be what we call a Linux distro, you need the Linux kernel, but you don't need GNU packages.
Ergo, it's Linux. It has always been Linux. It always will be Linux. It will never be GNU/Linux for the simple lack of need for GNU.

you could say the same thing about GNU: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/GNU_variants
it is called Linux due to convention and I will continue to call it as such but don't undermine the contributions of GNU. Yes you can be a Linux distro without being a GNU/Linux distro, you can also be a GNU distro without being a GNU/Linux distro.
Building on your car analogy a car can have different wheels or a different engine. Or a different DE (body), web browser (color) or whatever else. by convention we in the Linux world name these cars Linux based on the engine, is this right? Who cares I agree with you that it does not matter.

clip studio paint has a silver rating under wine. SAI has a gold rating under wine.
https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=41734
https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=42586
you should be able to get them to work if you are determined. Clip studio paint might not perfectly work though and has issues outlined in the link I sent you hence the silver rating. SAI should work fine once you follow the instructions in the link, it's not platinum so a little setup is required but I have faith for you.
honestly the only thing that's preventing me from making a full switch to linux is that neither clip studio paint nor SAI works on linux... i tried krita like thrice but i can't get used to it no matter how much i try...

there is a very easy way to run windows apps without even using the terminal now: steam -> add non steam game -> pick your exe -> force specific compatibility layer -> proton experimental. I still prefer to use the terminal tho `sudo apt install wine-stable winetricks` and then `wine programname` and Google the error that inevitably occurs. good luck in future endeavors.
installed linux mint a few days ago. Big fan so far. Not super complicated. I feel anyone who knows how to google things should be able to use it.
Havnt tried running windows only programs through wacky means yet. But ill let yall know how it goes i suppose.
