do you think you'd ever open commissions again?

I wanna be careful about using words like 'never' but right now I am not sure. I am currently getting slightly more open to 'regular' freelance gigs like book covers and advertisements but haven't done anymore yet, I did enjoy taking commissions for what it's worth :) I have re-found my love for art during this break and I'm just beginning to feel it again.

How come you don't work as an artist any more? Did something happen?

No, nothing serious at least! I've just come to realize after doing this for a couple of years that it is quite different from what I was expecting. I found it draining and I caught myself postponing work and dreading it too, the more work I did the less I enjoyed it. I love art and illustration so in order to keep my love for it alive, I decided to quit (at least for the foreseeable future) doing it for money for long time projects mostly, I would not say that smaller projects are completely out of the question.

I truly thought that this was what I was going to do forever but, life doesn't always work out like that. I'm excited for new opportunities! Thank you for your concern (ෆ˙ᵕ˙ෆ)♡
