This place seems really quite. I read so many of the posts and I felt so sad. I understand why people left. When you care for someone as much as we do for these boys, watching them fall is so hard. And sometimes you have to let them go, even if the memories were nice. Watching old videos of them makes me cry because they were so young and happy. But being involved in the drama gets you tired after a while. And I felt sad for those who left with regret. I hope you're all okay. 5SOS5 is great tho.

Honestly, as time has gone on, and as I’ve gotten older… I just don’t care the same as I did when I was younger. It doesn’t effect me the same. I’m just here for the music. I really don’t care about anything else at all.

What’s going on with the 5sos drama right now? People on Twitter are getting mad and there like “nothing has been addressed and he didn’t even post anything” like what’s going on?

To be quite honest with you, I don’t frequent Twitter enough to know exactly what is going on right now. If anyone else has answers feel free to share. Because like you, I’m confused. I don’t even know which “he” is being talked about.

He really has lost a lot of weight. You’re completely right. I also hope he’s okay. But I don’t know. Living in a situation like he is can be very taxing. Especially when surrounded by the type of people he’s surrounded by.

Do you think Luke actually wanted to create/release his own album or do you think he was pushed into it by management/sierra because he's the bands "frontman" and they couldn't have Ash overshadowing him? Also I love your blog, I can't keep up with all the drama but I love reading the highlights here

It’s possible he did actually want to create and release his own album. If anything creating without releasing sounds more like something he’d do just because he loves the writing process itself. But I could see both management and of course Sierra pressuring him to releases his own stuff.  I just honestly wish he treated Ash’s solo stuff better. Like actually promoting it the way Ash has been promoting Luke’s solo stuff. The friendship dynamic seems to have been lost a bit where all four of them are concerned.

I swear I ghostwrote this. I cried after I heard CALM for the first time because of how much I didn’t like it. It makes the least sense for Luke to release a solo album out of them. I also liked what I heard on the snippet, but I don't want to get my hopes up. Using their engagement as PR was expected, this particular project less so. None the less I'm just at the point where and I used to get so frustrated with people saying this, but I'm so over this band. The decisions they make constantly show us they aren't either who they used to be, or they never were who we thought they were. And that's fine. I'm just at the end of my rope, dwelling on this car crash.

Thoughts on Luke releasing solo stuff?

I’ve answered a few asks about the obvious PR scheme we all just witnessed unfold, so I’m going to use this ask to talk about how I feel about Luke releasing his own music.

When Ashton released Superbloom, I figured that would be the start of the other members releasing their own solo projects, but I was never particularly excited about the idea of Luke releasing a solo project.

I think Luke has written plenty of beautiful and exciting songs for 5SOS, and he’s definitely improved on his lyricism throughout the years. However, I think he peaked with Youngblood. CALM was a disappointment: the lyricism was good but eventually became repetitive and boring, and the music itself was mediocre. It’s quite clear that Luke had probably the biggest part in how CALM turned out, and that makes me nervous for his solo project.

The snippet from the video he posted sounded really nice. It definitely piqued my interest, but I’m keeping my expectations very low because part of me believes he’s just going to release CALM 2.0. While keeping my expectations low is a sure way to not be disappointed, it’s also a great way to find myself impressed if Luke exceeds my expectations—because the other part of me, the more hopeful part, wants him to create the masterpiece of an album I know he has the ability to create.

So I guess we’ll find out soon.

I think they got engaged because they genuinely want to get married. I think that they used their engagement ANNOUNCEMENT as a PR move to promote Luke’s solo project.

I mean, she has very few, if any, redeemable qualities. So you won’t what much argument about her character from me.

Except maybe that it’s not her fault CALM was bad. I don’t feel her comment sounded that way at all. It said something along the lines of like “congrats, so happy @/sierradeaton is going to be a part of the family. Can’t wait to see you and hug you!” It just sounds congratulatory to me. Not like she didn’t know. Just annoyingly supportive. I mean I’m happy he has a supportive mum, I wouldn’t really know what that’s like but I hear it’s very nice. I imagine that relationship is very important to him, and he wouldn’t leave something like that to a public IG post. Not when they’ve been engaged since February.

What's up with Ashton and kaykay, by far from what I know she unfollowed Ashton's private insta (1st red flag) she took off his pics from her website he is still under the music category but she had some photos of him outside that category which r no longer their and she also liked a tweet along the lines of how it's unhealthy with being someone who are focused on projecting a person's without any actual enlightenment the reason why it seems shady to me is bcoz Ashton has been showing this "self realisation" persona ever since SUPERBLOOM release and around her birthday he was with Calum in the woods while she was out with her friends but Ashton still follows her and has his pics with her still up on IG

To be honest, we don’t know what’s going on as of right now. They could be broken up once again, it could be an artistic choice as far as the website. Like not using your SO in your art. Or perhaps it’s that they’ve been on and off close to as long or even longer than Lierra and it’s weird now that they are engaged and that’s put a weird kind of pressure on their relationship. Who knows? Certainly not me. There are tons of possibilities, but your guess is as good as mine, anon. Actually it’s probably better given you noticed all the anomalies and put them together.

I can only speak for myself on this topic. I do believe the other two admins have differing opinions to my own. But me personally, I do believe it is all staged and meant for PR and only PR purposes. Both couples had the same photographer stage their Engagement photos. Both couples have a very similar timeline as to how things got started. And my theory is that the reason that their timelines are so damn similar is because Sierra is an actual client of Crystal and Crystal is behind both “relationships”. I have had this feeling since the beginning, but I didn’t want to acknowledge it because I was also very certain that the pattern was mirroring that of Larzaylea. But I was wrong about that pattern. However, this is just my opinion. As stated before the other two may feel differently.
