Worst Synastry Aspects and Overlays (18+)

Pluto in 8th house overlay

Pluto will bring out the worst in the 8th house person. Their triggers, their mental illness, their shadow self. Pluto will gaslight, manipulate, and lie to 8th house and make them feel crazy af. The 8th house person will retaliate with their shadow self and turn into someone evil to get back at Pluto. This can be incredibly deep and feel so fated (because it is fated), so you feel like if you left the other person you would actually die. But that’s because it’s a trauma bond and highly karmic (and obsessive) not because you guys are “soulmates” or “twin flames” or whatever.

Nessus (7066) in 8th house overlay

Pain. lol. Especially for the 8th house person. Nessus will use the triggers that bring you the most immense amount of pain against you. Just like with Pluto in the 8th house, they will lie, gaslight, and make everything your fault until you feel like you’re genuinely evil. The 8th house person isn’t innocent either. They will turn into a villain and become the exact person they’re being labeled as. Nessus will use sex to control 8th house either by using it to get what they want or withholding it. Sexual mind games are huge with this one. The secret sexual attraction, lust, and obsession is crazy, and it’s probably what gets you stuck in this cycle, but it’s not healthy. It’s mutually toxic and abusive.

Nessus (7066) in the 4th house overlay

If you want to replay your childhood wounds in your adult relationship date someone with Nessus in your 4th house! If you think the 8th house is bad? The 4th house is your innermost self. It is the most private parts of yourself. So when someone's Nessus hits this part of you they will bring out the most private inner pain that you forgot you even had. Shit you wouldn't even tell your therapist about. So when the 4th house person deals with that shit, they unravel. They turn into the person their inner child wish they would have been. Abuse. No other way to put this. If you have this aspect with someone it means the relationship will in some way be abusive (verbal, emotional or physical). It could be either party being abusive or mutually abusive. I would say Pluto has the emotional upper hand in the relationship though (because Pluto is the higher octave of mars) and is sneaky and will get inside the other person's head. But stay away from this aspect AT ALL COSTS. If you’re going on a date with someone you don’t know check if you have this aspect with them, and don’t go if you do because it can also indicate sexual violence as well.

Mars square Chiron

If you want to be triggered every time you have an argument with someone then date someone you have this synastry aspect with. Omg if you're chiron in this situation just expect the truth about how the other person feels about you to only come out when they're mad. They will tell you about all the ways they think they're better than you, what makes them devalue you, what makes them judge you, but only when they're angry. And chiron's vulnerability and ability to see through the mars person only makes mars feel weaker and causes them to lash out even more.

Nessus conjunct Chiron

People think a conjunction=positive. But that's not true. A conjunction means the energies work synergistically. So when someone's Nessus conjuncts your chiron (your most vulnerable pain) it means they literally know how to trigger you to your core. This is a classic trauma bond aspect. Nessus might not even realize they're triggering you, but it becomes a cycle. Nessus triggering, chiron reacting in the worst ways, then you both coming back together. It becomes a toxic cycle that feels addictive (as trauma bonds usually are).

Nessus conjunct Pluto

I don't even know who would be worse in this aspect. Neither Nessus nor Pluto plays nice. They are both evil as FUCK. Nessus will try to have the upper hand, but Pluto's mind games and psychological manipulation is so strong. They both want to hold the power and control in the dynamic, but they both end up feeling powerless because this aspect is draining. The attraction is there and it's obsessive, but not worth the sexual and psychological games.

These are the ones that I think are genuine red flags. Even if you have an overall positive synastry with someone these are the ones that I think will make both of your lives hell. I’m sure if both of you went to individual therapy and couples therapy and group therapy maybe sure it could prevent it from going to hell. To me this synastry overlay seems very fated like you were meant to meet each other for spiritual lessons and to heal each other. It might not always be easy since the 12th house the unseen, unconscious, and usually the pain that we keep hidden from others. The north node person might not always understand the 12th houser, they may seem very elusive to the NN person. There maybe a tendency to get lost in the relationship, either through just being in your own world together and spirituality or drugs (because the 12th house rules substances if you’re not careful). The reason is because I feel (and this is just what I feel, not fact) like tropical is what your soul is meant to become in this lifetime, and sidereal is what you were born like. I think this because I relate more to my sidereal chart, but I know my potential lies in my tropical.

As for placidius vs whole sign, I prefer placidius. The reason is because placidius is like an exact snapshot of where the planets were exactly when you were born. It’s like who you are as a person. I use whole sign when checking transits because it’s less convoluted.
