All you had to do was knock
This is NOT proofread, because I'm lazy, and just thought of this so I sat down and typed away.
Theo nott x (Slytherin)reader
(I think I have a crush on all TV characters named Theo)
the title is related to something Theo says, idk if it even makes sense
It was Christmas time, and snow had just begun to fall, you were walking with Astoria, through the shops of Hogsmeade.
"Everyone knows what it means to ask a 'friend' to Hogsmeade," says Astoria. Her brown hair hung over the sides of her face and she looked down at the ground.
"I know! He might be an introvert, but Teddy isn't stupid that's why I'm upset. Pansy even thought Teddy liked me, and then he turned around and asked her on a date." I said.
Theo and I were really close, and jokes about our friendship were often made by our other friends, due to how close we were. I'd liked Teddy for ages, but recently he had started asking me to hang out individually, and sitting next to me at meals in the great hall. He even switched with Blaise to be my potions partner, and I suck at potions. Of course, I didn't mind the extra time spent with him, and I loved his company, but now I regretted it, I felt like I had let him lead me on.
"I'm sure he does like you, Y/N. I haven't seen Theo spend this much time with anyone since, well, never." Astoria reassured me. I'm not sure how she could say such a thing when Theo was literally on a date with another girl right now. We walked into Weasley's Wizard Wheezes and looked to see what new ideas the twins had come up with. Astoria wandered to a display table towards the left wall, "You could buy this, and Theo won't even remember Pansy's name." She held up a glass with a sparkly, heart-shaped label that read, "Love Potion". I smiled and gave her a look of disapproval.
"Too soon?" she asked.
I opened my mouth to say something, but I heard the door open, and a cold breeze made the hair stick up on my arms. I turned to the door and saw Pansy walking in, but rather than Theo behind her, it was Enzo. He scanned the store and waved at Astoria and I.
"Y/N, Astoria! Hey guys what are you doing here?" Enzo asked as he was on our side of the store in a few strides, Pansy following close behind him.
"Hey guys," Astoria gave them both a quick hug, "we're just shopping around, y'know?" Astoria holds up the love potion so that Enzo and Pansy can see it.
"What're you buying that for?" Pansy asks reaching for the glass.
"I'm not buying it, y/n is!" Astoria joked.
"I am not buying that, put it back!" I told Astoria, quickly taking it from Pansy and putting it back on the shelf we got it from.
"Trust me y/n if you're buying it for 'you-know-who' then you do not need it," Enzo said raising his eyebrows, exaggerating his tone on certain words. I punched Enzo in the arm,
"I'm not buying it," I said sternly, I knew they were all just joking, but now was a bad time, especially since Pansy was literally right next to me. "besides, Teddy and I already get along just fine, why would I need a love potion? We're just friends."
"So if me and Draco share a bed, you wouldn't think that was a little bit weird?" Enzo asked with a quirked eyebrow.
"Well, not if you guys were both cold, and one of your beds was all the way down the hall," I told them, understanding the message they were trying to send.
The topic of the discussion changed many times before we got back to the comfort of the fireplace, surrounded by green couches, and various books. I sat in an armchair closest to the fireplace, before getting up to use the restroom. When I walked down the hallway I could hear the laughter of my friends, and faintly hear their voices. When I finished up, I looked in the mirror and ran my fingers through my hair, the hat I had taken off messed it up, and no one had thought to tell me. I walked back into the common room and saw that Teddy had returned from wherever he had been, and taken the seat I was sitting in before I got up. Without much thought, I sat down on the arm of Theo's chair and ruffled his hair.
"Hi Teddy," I sang, and seeing him for the first time today, I had almost forgotten I was mad at him, "where have you been?"
The room had gone silent and our friends all watched our interaction. I quickly noticed our proximity and moved to an empty spot on a couch, near his chair so I could still listen for his answer.
"Just around," He spoke softly, "nowhere special."
I was surprised by his answer and looked over at Pansy to see if her expression would show that she knew anything more than he let on, but she had turned back around and was talking with Mattheo about who was the better quidditch player. Theo obviously didn't have much to say, and by the bags under his eyes I could tell wherever he had been, had left him exhausted, so I let him be, and decided that I should get some rest myself.
Morning came, and despite being under water I could tell the sun had risen by the dim rays shining through the windows. I showered, and got ready for breakfast, putting on a jumper and some trousers I'd pulled from a drawer. When I left my dorm and walked into the common room, I could see Draco and Astoria waiting on the couch, tossing a hair tie back and forth as they continued in conversation.
"Good Morning!" I said as I approached the couple.
"It's about time," Draco said as he pretended to be annoyed, "If you took any longer I might've died of hunger."
"I'm actually early today, Malfoy so maybe save your starvation for another day." I laughed.
We made our way down to the great hall, and the rest of our friends made space for us at the table. Pansy was in her normal seat between Blaise and Enzo, rather than next to Theo, which confused me since I thought they liked each other, but I didn't think much of it.
As I took my usual seat next to Theo, an owl flew above our heads and dropped a letter down right in front of me.
"Y/N, you have mail!" Mattheo yelled from a few seats down, as if I couldn't see the envelope land in front of me. Blaise hit him on his had and mocked him for stating the obvious.
"Open it." Theo nudged my arm urging me on.
I turned the paper over in my hands and didn't see a name, other than my own so I ripped open the envelope. A piece of parchment was folded inside it,
'Hogsmeade? 2:00 - Harry Potter'
"Harry Potter, as in the Chosen One, you've got to be kidding me, mate." Draco sighed as he shoved his face into his hands.
I laughed and looked across the room at Harry who was already looking at me, I nodded at him, and he smiled in return, turning back around and saying something to Hermione and Ron.
"You're going to go?" Theo said to me, shocked that i assented to the idea of a date with Harry.
"Yeah, why not? He's cute and popular, he probably just needs a favor anyway," I said "Plus, you can go on dates why can't I?"
Theo's jaw dropped, and then closed again, and he got up and left.
"He deserved that," said Pansy, "I told him no, by the way, I wouldn't go out with him because I know you like him."
I wanted to curse Pansy at this moment for announcing to everyone around us that I liked Theo but decided I would appreciate her rare kindness.
Time passed quickly, and before I knew it, I was dressed up to meet Harry. I zipped up my snow boots and heard a knock at my door, "Come in!" I called whoever it was.
I quickly kicked the clothes next to my bed, under it, in hopes whoever it was, wasn't a professor, or Harry. The door opened, and when I looked up it was Theo.
"Hey Teddy, what's up?" I asked, wondering what he was here for, I had barely seen him the past few days and assumed he was done with his attitude.
He didn't say anything, he took the chair from under my desk and sat down, looking at the ground. I stared at him waiting to see if he was going to say anything.
"You can't go on that date," he said finally meeting my eyes.
"Are you kidding me, Theo? That's what this is about because I'm going out with another guy, you want to show up in my dorm and act all possessive?" I shot at him. He had rarely talked to me in two days, and this is what he came to say.
"Please, you just- you can't go," he stood up, moving in front of me to hold my hands in his.
"So, let me get this straight, we've been just friends for months, and when you decide to ask Pansy on a date it's okay, but when I get asked out on a date you can just come to my dorm, demanding me not go?" I reiterated. I was hurt that Theo genuinely thought I would be okay with this.
"My door was unlocked," he whispered.
"What?" I asked. I felt like I had asked him so many things and hadn't gotten one response.
"I waited for you to see if you would try to talk me out of going, and ask me to stay with you instead." Theo said
"Teddy why would I talk you out of doing something that you obviously wanted to do, I want you to be happy," I told him. I was extremely confused by his intentions.
"Just please don't go y/n I'll take you to Hogsmeade myself, just don't go on a date with Harry Potter of all people." He begged me.
"But why, Theo?"
"You know why." Theo insisted.
"Say it."
"Because I love you y/n, I'm in love with you, and if you go on that date with Harry, you might start to like him, and then I'll have to move to be alone," he confessed.
I was speechless. Not because I didn't reciprocate his feelings, but because I didn't understand.
"So what about Pansy? You just asked her out to see if I would come knocking on your door?" I scoffed.
"It was her idea, I'd ask her to Hogsmeade, so you'd get jealous, but we didn't go by ourselves, Enzo and Blaise came along, that's why Astoria went with you, to make sure you didn't run into us as a group." He explained
Theo was standing so close to me that it felt like his tall figure was hovering. I could feel his breath on my face and looked up at him. He took my face in his hands and crashed his lips into mine. His hands moved down to my waist, and I kissed him back, moving my hands to his hair, pulling at the roots.
"You're really good at that," I said when we finally separated for air, moving my hands to the back of his neck.
Theo smiled down at me, "better than Potter?" he asked with a smirk. I jokingly pushed him away and sat down to write Harry a letter about how I'd be canceling our date last minute.

He loves me, He loves me, not.
Draco Malfoy x Potter!Reader
This is another "Draco Malfoy is a cheater" blob I can make another part if you are interested. (which would end better than this one) Writing angst is fun.
Warnings: cheating (no others I can think of)
I sat teary-eyed in the cold, dark corridors of Hogwarts. I never should have let it come this far, to the point that I'm crying over a boy, Harry warned me not to dare even look at. It was a shame, I listened to the lies, over my brother's warnings. I knew Draco was the Slytherin prince, every girl who looked in his direction, got exactly what they wanted, even just for a night. But once we became friends I realized the boundaries I'd set were useless and my feelings were no different than every other green-robed girl.
When I blinked, I only saw the image that i was running from; the silhouette that i recognized all too well, in a dimly lit corner of the hallway, his hands on her waist, sliding to places they shouldn't have been. I stood there for a second, in shock, but as soon as his head snapped towards me, i felt his eyes burn into me for a split second, before i turned the closest corner and ran.
Nowhere specific came to mind, but my feet felt as if they knew exactly where they were going. I could hear faint footsteps following me, so I ran faster, turning corners, running up short stairways, anything I found. I was out of breath from running, and crying so I stood behind a pillar and took a deep breath, letting my back slide down the cold concrete walls as my legs became weak beneath me.
I closed my eyes and worked on my breathing, in and out, my tears became a constant stream down my cheeks and off my chin. my face burned where the tears fell, but I felt it was deserved, as I walked myself right into this situation.
As I hated it, we had walked together so many times through these hallways I didn't even have to think twice to know it was Draco, whose footsteps stopped a few feet away from where I sat.
"I know what you're thinking," he said, as he let his body fall opposite mine. I looked him in the eyes waiting for him to continue.
"You think I'm a cheater, and that you should've listened to your brother," Draco said without breaking eye contact. Was he trying to use reverse psychology because there was no way I was going to let that work? However, I stayed silent preferring he did the talking, wondering if I'd get an explanation.
"I'd never do anything to hurt you. You know that." His voice fills the silence we created.
"Do I?" I asked. Genuinely curious as to what about his actions would make me believe that. "Because honestly, everything I saw before you sat down has been quite the opposite."
I waited for him to say something, anything. "A boyfriend who didn't want to hurt me wouldn't have been kissing another girl, but let's just pretend that didn't happen for a second, shall we?" My voice caught in my throat as I started to cry; realizing I was being generous by even giving him an explanation.
"A good boyfriend would not sit across from me in the hallway while I cry, but a guilty one wouldn't comfort me because he knew what he did was wrong. He wouldn't because a good boyfriend cares, and wow was I naive to think that you, the Slytherin prince, with the option of any girl you wanted, would care." I scolded him, I wanted to make him feel little, and I wanted him to feel useless, as a boyfriend, and as a person, which I assume I did because he said nothing.
I rose to my feet, staring down at the blonde boy, who refused to meet my eyes.
"Draco?" A small voice came from around the corner. It was a Hufflepuff whom I recognized from our Herbology class. I wasn't sure of her name, but Draco's head snapped in her direction when she spoke.
I waited for either of them to say anything else, but his gaze finally locked with mine, and the moonlight from the window allowed me to see his puffy eyes and a wet line down his cheek where a tear had fallen.
I stared at him, and he moved to stand before me, reaching for my face. I dodged his grasp causing him to take a step back and his face twisted in pain.
"Please," he croaked, "You're all I have. Don't leave me."
I'd never seen him like this before, he wasn't defending himself, nor was he apologizing, but he was begging me not to leave him.
"I'm obviously not all you have," I told him motioning at the yellow-robed girl who hadn't gotten the hint that this was a personal conversation, "Therefore you must really need me if you're begging like this, and currently you're not on my list for handouts." I sounded cold, usually my brother was the one with the attitude, but I left it at that, and walked away. Ignoring the sound of him pleading for me to change my mind.

Community Flowers
Draco Malfoy x Reader
I kinda got the ick, because the reader is a bit sensitive, but like- I wrote it, so it's not unbearably pick me... I hope
I saw a prompt on TikTok from @livelybooker that said "When she's ignoring the flowers in his car bc she thinks they aren't hers, but then he's worried she doesn't like them" and so, of course, an idea for a quick blurb came from it, and now there's this.
The Yule ball was nearly over, and as I observed the couples that continued to dance, I couldn't help but feel a little jealous, from the corner I sat in. I looked for the tall blonde boy, for a few minutes before my eyes landed on him, and a bouquet of flowers. I watched a brunette girl shove the bouquet into his face, and walk off. He stood there, yelled something after her, and turned right around to face me, his grey eyes pierced straight through my soul.
I broke eye contact because I promised myself I wouldn’t fall back into this cat-and-mouse game. We were good friends, and that was all. Good friends that had kissed on an occasion or two, but overall we were friends, and when he asked Pansy to the Yule ball, rather than me, his opinion was made clear.
"Penny for your thoughts?" Draco's voice made me snap out of my daze looking up at him, as he leaned over the back of a chair to my side.
"I wasn't really thinking about anything special, just watching the people and the dresses." I lied. Though we had spent a lot of time together I hoped it wasn't so much, that he could sense that I was being untruthful. He looked at me for a minute and seemed to be deciding whether or not he believed me.
"Well I bought you these," the boy smiled as he pulled the flowers from behind his back, to in between us, "They match your dress."
I frowned, seeing as they were the same flowers I just watched Pansy push into his face. His eyebrows scrunched up after I didn't say anything.
"What? You don't like them?" He said, moving to put the flowers on the table, carefully watching my expression.
"Draco, how stupid do you think I am? I just watched Pansy throw those in your face after you offered them to her. Now you want me to take your, stupid, leftover, pity flowers?" I said standing out of my chair to turn and leave. This was the last thing I needed right now. As I exited the great hall I heard his footsteps follow behind me, and speed up as he appeared in front of me.
"Y/n I'm not sure what you think you saw, but I didn't offer your flowers to Pansy Parkinson, of all people," He said trying to explain himself before I walked away again. "Pansy took the flowers from me because she thought they were hers, and when I told her they were for you, she shoved them into my face. I didn't give her the flowers or buy them for her." The boy’s grey eyes seemed to beg for forgiveness with his words.
"How do I know you're not lying to me?" I accused, hoping he was telling the truth.
"If I was lying would I have written a letter in the wrapping?" Draco reassured me, folding back a piece of the paper so I could read it.
Although I'm writing this before the ball, I know you look absolutely gorgeous, hope you'll save me a dance.     -Draco
I couldn't help but smile, knowing that I looked way too happy, but I didn't care. The boy was beaming down at me, smiling as hard as I was.
"You think I’m gorgeous?" I teased, looking up at Draco while I put the flowers down on the chair where I was sitting.
"How about I remind you after our dance?" He said as he grabbed my hands, leading me back into the Great Hall.

Potions
Does anyone still write for Draco Malfoy?
Draco Malfoy x (Female) Reader
Desc: Reader spends a lot of time talking about Draco with her friends, so she finds a way to hang out with him.
Warnings: uh like kinda fluff at the end? Pansy Parkinson? Idk
Draco and I have been close since we were sorted into Slytherin years ago, and recently the time we spent together felt full of tension, and maybe its one sided, but I was starting to feel for him romantically.
I knew that Pansy liked Draco, and since she was my best friend I obviously kept that information very private and to myself. Of course I would never tell Pansy, I liked Draco, but I did tell Blaise. The three of us have been friends since first year, and more recently, Pansy joined us because she didn't talk to us until the past 2 months.
It was about 9 pm, we were all sitting in the common room. Pansy was trying to make conversation with Draco. Enzo, Theo and Adrien all sat having their own talk. I sat with Blaise as he told me about this blonde Ravenclaw girl he wanted to take out, whose name he wouldn't disclose. We then started getting into the conversation of relationships, and who we think would look good together. Blaise was surprisingly good at finding romantic couples out of people, but maybe that was because he was observant.
"Okay Mr. Match maker who would you set up with... Looney Lovegood!" I ask thinking i finally found someone he wouldn't be able to think of a match for.
"She's not looney, don't call her that, she's quite nice actually, and I'm not sure I could match her with someone. Luna likes to focus on her studies, and research." Blaise said in a very matter-of-fact manner.
"I knew that she would stump you! and since when have you been paying attention to Luna so much?" I say exaggerating her name. Blaise stares at me blankly, and suddenly i am reminded of the mysterious Blonde Ravenclaw.
"You have a thing for Luna Lovegood!" I practically yelled as i made the connection, Draco looking over with a raised eyebrow pointed at Blaise inferring that this would definitely be brought up later.
"Ooh Blaise wants the nerdy chics!" Adrien laughs from across the room causing the rest of us to burst out in laughter.
After the room settles down, Blaise looks back at me and speaks loudly, "What about Draco, who do you think would be a nice fit for him?" Blaise says with a smirk on his face, knowing that Draco is now overhearing this conversation. I look over at the Blonde haired boy and it is as if I can see his ears tune into our conversation completely. Of course I'm not gonna give my genuine answer, which would be me, of course, but with Draco and Pansy in the room i'm not willing to take that risk.
"Well, I think Draco is... He's better alone, he doesn't really seem like dating material. However we still should take into account all the girls he brings back to his dorm room every Friday. That's gotta be some type of credit." I say in a sarcastic tone trying to bring the conversation back between Blaise and I.
"Every Friday night is pretty Specific, y/n how much attention are you paying to our dorm's visitors, huh?" Blaise continues the joke, taunting me with the information i gave him weeks ago.
"Well y'know with Theodore Nott in that room of course I'm going to pay attention." i look over giving him a wink, as he sits by the fireplace and looks up from his conversation with Adrien and Enzo.
"You're always welcome over, y/n!" Theo looks at me and winks back. I smile and look back at Blaise who is looking at Draco, who of course is staring at me. His eyebrows raised in an 'oh yeah?' type manner, but no words come from his mouth.
The night continues and we eventually all come together, discussion, jokes, and insults, flying across the room as we laugh and poke fun of each other.
"Can you guys keep it down, im trying to sleep! Enzo yells from a couch in the corner of the room.
"Shut the fuck up Enzo!" Draco shoots back, as he stands up, and we all start to get up and gather our things, realizing we should probably go to sleep as well.
Pansy and I go back to our dorm, where the other girls are already sleeping, I get into the shower and wash my hair, and my body, and then start my face care after getting out.
While getting into my pajamas, I cant help but think about Draco, and what it would be like if we were dating. I somehow convinced myself to go talk to him, finding myself at his door. in my pajamas.
I knock 3 times, and Theo comes to the door.
"Taking up my offer princess?"
"Who is it?" I hear Draco and Blaise say at the same time.
"Sorry Theo, but I'm actually here to talk to Draco." I say apologetically, knowing Theo's just joking anyways.
"Draco you've got a visitor!" He calls to Draco as he opens the door all the way and moves over allowing me to see into the room.
I stand in shock when my eyes find Draco. He was shirtless, and his hair was wet, as if he had gotten out of the shower. I've seen Draco shirtless before, but he must be working out lately because his abs, and arms were more defined and muscular than I remember.
"Y/n you can come in, it's rude to stand in doorways." Blaise says laughing at me. I make my way into the room and sit on Draco's bed as I've done countless times before.
"So what'd you want to talk to me about?" Draco asks, standing next to me.
"Well first I want you to put on a shirt, but secondly, I need your help with potions." I lied realizing that I didn't want to make any moves on Draco while our friends were in the room.
"Why didn't you ask while we were in the common room, we're all about to go to sleep." Blaise complains turning off his lamp.
"Because I was so intrigued by hearing about your not so secret crush on Luna." I quickly retorted, causing Theo to come out of the bathroom, and bombard Blaise with questions.
"So what are you confused about?" Draco said putting on a shirt, and pulling out his desk chair to sit across from me.
"Well firstly-" I started
"ZABINI HAD A WET DREAM ABOUT LUNA!" Theo shouted, jumping on top of Blaise, which caused them to start arguing very loudly.
"Can we go some place else, i can't hear myself over the children in the room." I said raising my voice. Draco nodded in response, grabbing his binder and pencil.
"Sorry mommy." Theo shouted on my way out, while throwing a pillow at Blaise's face.
Draco exited behind me, and we went to sit back in the common room, in front of the fireplace.
"So like I was saying, yesterdays homework isn't making sense, and our quiz tomorrow is really stressing me out because i don't know what directions go with which spells." I quickly made up realizing that I for some reason was subconsciously continuing this lie as an excuse to talk to him alone.
"Well for all the potions you need to remember the ratios,"  Draco pulled put a blank paper and his notes from class, beginning to make a diagram. "For these potions the ratio is one to four to three, and you set up the math like this..."
He continued to talk and at some point i stopped listening and watched his face glow from the fire in front of us. The way his nose and jawline were even more defined. The way his eyes slightly squinted when he worked out the math. He's so pretty.
"Y/n are you even listening to me?" Draco says waving his hand in front of my face.
"uh yes I'm listening, and it makes a lot more sense now." I say in a convincing tone that hopefully he'll believe.
"Are you tired? You seem tired. Maybe we can work on this in the morning, yeah?" He asked looking at me with a concerned look on his face.
"Yeah that works, thank you." I say with a genuine smile. He stands up and reaches his hand out to lift me up with a small smile on his face as well. We stand there, neither of us wanting to leave. Our hips felt to be connected to a string as I couldn't bring myself to just walk away.
I took a step closer and got up on my tiptoes, pressing a quick kiss to his cheek.
"Goodnight Draco." I whispered, as I started to walk away. He grabbed my arm and spun me back around.
"I think you missed, pretty girl." Draco smiled Pulling me into him, making our bodies crash together. He threw his binder onto the couch, and our lips collided, exploring unknown territories and starting unknown boundaries. He pulled away from the kiss, out of breath. grinning.
"What?" I laughed at him
"We don't have a potions quiz tomorrow. You set me up!" he sounded surprised. He held my face in his hands and kissed me again.
"Goodnight pretty girl." he said with a smile as he gathered his things and walked back to his dorm.

Words he never said
Soo I never write, but I was about to go to sleep, and this popped into my head, so I thought I'd write about it. Also, I'm not new to Tumblr, but this is my first ever fic so pls don't judge. (not grammar checked)
1068 Words / 6 minutes estimated reading time
Four (Tobias Eaton) x reader
The last test of my fear simulation was over. I jumped out of the chair I lay on, and blink a few times trying to adjust to the bright light hitting my eyes. The echo of people clapping erupted from all corners of the room, and as I finally took a step and could actually look around, I saw Four standing off to my left. My head turned and he was smiling as he walked over.
He came over and reached out his arms for what I understood to be a hug, so I took a few more steps toward him, but he went around me. He passed me to go hug Tris. I saw as he effortlessly picked her up and spun her around, and when he placed her down he gave her a kiss on her forehead, as she started telling him God knows what.
I love Tris, she's my sister, but of course, she would be the one to replace me, for what only felt like the hundredth time ever. I wasn't mad at Tris though, I was furious as Four. He was the one who told me to keep things private.
"Private, but not secret."
I remember the words he said to me. The words he promised me, while we lay tangled in his sheets, discussing what label we wanted to put on ourselves.
"Four! What the hell?" I aggressively pushed past Tris to get to him.
"Oh no, here comes your shadow." Tris taunted, and I shot a glare at her.
"Y/n, your simulation went better than I expected!" Four said with a sarcastic tone behind it.
"Don't avoid the ques- wait what?" I started to process what he was inferring with his remark. "What do you mean, 'better than you expected'?" I asked as I took a step closer to him, with an insulted look on my face.
"I mean you did better than what I thought you could do, based off of how horrible most of your other abilities are. Not to mention you have possibly the most forgettable personality, and you always complain about 'What if I don't make the cut?', 'What if everyone thinks I want to be like Tris?', 'What if everyone thinks I'm lame?', but what you don't understand, y/n is that we all already think that."
I felt the room get a little smaller, and everyone was so silent you could hear a feather fall. All of a sudden applause burst out from the people in the room, surrounding the three of us, and seemingly agreeing with what Four said.
I stood there, in shock, jaw dropped, waiting for him to say he was just kidding, or for me to just drop dead.
I confided in Four, I trusted in Four, and I would argue I loved him. I told him the 3 things I hated the most.
Public degradation, Being yelled at, and being compared to Tris.
Somehow he had managed to have done all 3 of those things in a matter of seconds.
"Four.. say you don't mean it." I felt tears rolling down my cheeks, and off my chin. I'm not sure when I started crying, but now I was more upset, that he had to have gotten the response he wanted from me. Why else would he say those things.
"Four." My voice was weak, but his stare was strong and cold. He looked me up and down, before turning around.
"Pathetic." He managed to say just loud enough for me to hear, as his back was turned, and he walked away.
I lost him in the crowd in a matter of seconds as I decided I needed to calm down before more people can see that I'm crying. I closed my eyes and took deep breaths, and focused on the feeling of the cold air of the room against my tear-stained cheeks.
I opened my eyes, and there I was, back in the chair, in the middle of the normal-sized room.
Again I was blinded by the lights and tried to blink them away. They were brighter than they were the first time. People began clapping again, and before I could even take a step off of the chair I was laid in, Four had reached me and took my hands in his.
"Y/n, I would never betray you like that." He was trying to look me in the eyes, but I avoided his gaze. He lifted one of his hands to make me look at him. When my eyes met his he smiled and I opened my mouth to talk, but he hurried and put a finger over my mouth.
"Y/n, I don't want you to be scared to tell me things, I care for you very much..."
I was getting Deja Vu. Not the kind that's like been there done that, but the kind of Deja Vu, that leaves you with the same empty mysterious feeling of nothing in the pit of your stomach. I remembered when I told Four I loved him, and his response was, "Thank you for loving me", that was enough for me to understand he wasn't ready yet, but now it had been almost a year, and he still couldn't say the words.
"Four I know, it's okay, I don't want to force you to say things you don't mean." I looked at him with a peaceful rage in my eyes, hurt he couldn't say the words, and upset he wasn't as committed to me as I was to him.
He tilted his head to the side with an offended look on his face, "Don't do that y/n, you can't do that. Don't push me away, not now." He looked at me with sadness in his eyes. "Not now, not ever." He was begging at this point.
"Why? Why not now?" I was confused by his sudden specificity in time.
Four grabbed my hands again, as he leaned in to place his lips on mine. I wanted to resist because I was angry at him, he wasn't committed, he didn't care. But I could hear him reassuring me. He wasn't speaking out loud, but he was speaking to me. He broke the kiss, and rested his forehead on mine, taking a breath.
"Because I love you."
