Buck learns ASL in his travels before the 118, and eventually teaches members of the 118 and the kids certain signs both for fun and for their own safety. Like, he teaches the kids a few signs for needing help, wanting to get out of a situation, or that they are okay. He teaches the adults them as well so they can watch out for them, but so they can use them as well. Eventually, they start to learn more both on their own and from Buck and use it both in their personal life and at work.

No one knows that Buck can play guitar. Or that he’s actually a pretty good singer.

One night on shift when he thinks no one else is listening he plays and sings THE LONELIEST by Maneskin.
