He bolts up in his bed, disturbed from his slumber by the skittering sound of nails on the cold stone floor. His eyes take a moment to adjust to the dim light, and he yelps audibly as he sees the creature before him. Even more startling was when it spoke- intelligently, and offering him a deal for services provided. Thinking it was surely a dream, the minister listens carefully to the creature’s proposition.

You would ask me to help you find petty thieves? Hmph… I suppose I could assign someone to look. This is only a dream after all…
