jisung’s eyes widened at the letter he held in his hands. dating an idol, he knows you get a lot of love and support from your fans which he admired, but he couldn’t help but feel jealous at times. he tends to think the passionate words your fans are able to write for you are nothing compared to his. even after the countless times you tell him not to worry because it’s 2x more special when he tells you how much he loves you. however, the letter he just read was something he’d never seen before.

jisung likes to clean around the house when he’s bored. you were currently at a practice and he didn’t want to disturb you with calls so he sent a text which to his dismay, you weren’t able to see. sighing, he tossed his phone on the couch and got up to put some things away. he had tidied up the living room earlier so he decided to fix up your shared bedroom. he was clearing your small desk when he saw the envelope with “for the love of my life, y/n” in bold red letters sitting in your drawer. out of curiosity, he took out the paper from your drawer and read what the envelope contained. he read words such as “your music saved me,” “not only are you visually stunning, but you have an ideal personality,” “i never thought you would be on my mind this much, never i would like you this much...” filled his vision and he starts to feel anger take over him. was he starting to overreact, he thought? yes, he was, but could he control it? no he could not. he was about to rip the letter in half when he heard shuffling by the bedroom door. he took a deep breath and turned around, and you were met with his tear filled eyes. 

“jisung? why are you crying... and are you going through my stuff?” you ask, furrowing your brows at the letter that gradually started to crumple in his hand. 

“here’s a better question, y/n, what is this?” he walks towards you and hold the letter up in your face, making you step back a bit, “what type of confession letter is this? it sounds like he’s trying to marry you.” jisung hisses, a tear falling down his cheek. you snatch the letter from his hand and push at his chest.

”what are you talking about? i get letters like this all the time! you know that! why are you overreacting right now?” 

“because!” he yells, looking at the floor and suddenly his voice becomes small, “...because that was a really well written letter. he was able to tell you how he felt about you with so many big words and nice compliments. and i had to get my friends to confess to you for me. what if you leave me for someone like him? you know im not good with expressing my emotions like that but im trying my best for you! because you mean a lot to me, and you’re someone i love a lot.” he says, tears starting to fall from his eyes. his words broke your heart, honestly. 

“sungie,” you walk towards him and take his cheeks in your hands, wiping his face with your thumbs, “you don’t need to use fancy words to sway me. do you know why i love you? it’s because of the small things you do to show you love me, actions speak louder than words, you know. like when you always have something for me to eat when you know im coming home, or when you simply hold me after a long day. and i love you so much for that. i would never leave you, because you are special.”

a/n: i would like to again thank this anon. this isn’t something i’d expect to be requested so i really enjoyed it! sorry if the ending wasn’t all that, i didn’t want to unnecessarily drag it on. also! i don’t know which jisung you wanted me to write for so i assumed it was han from stray kids? i felt like he would react similar to how i wrote it rather than nct’s jisung, who would probably keep his discovery to himself.
