its cool that we have a version of the nonstop ending with rise up when youre living on your knees you rise up in it now. i wonder if this ever existed in an early draft like "(or you could let it go) the friend who would tell me not to do it is in the ground" with laurens appearing in hamiltons head.

wonder if this was planned ahead of time and they were going to have someone else do it or if they literally just added it in that morning because anthony showed up. which is probably what actually happened because they needed something for him to do (even though cameraman avoided him like the plague jesus). but crazy to think in a show as dense as hamilton you can just throw another motif onto the pile in one day and it sounds good and it fits and it works.

actually a lot of hamilton was probably written like this. lots of last minute decisions under pressure cookers, but cause most of us only found it as the final product we dont get to see all the events around it in real time like with the whole anthony drama.
