Theo is careful about his hands, Scott’s noticed: greedy when tangled in his hair, indulgent carving into his back and shoulders. But never above Scott’s navel when traversing his torso.

His mouth, however, seems unrestricted. Laving over his skin anywhere—everywhere—thorough and soothing, like a balm for old wounds. Unspoken apologies etched into Scott’s flesh, claws-deep and spreading.

Heart stuttering.

From “now I see you in my nightmares”:

“I dug my claws into your chest and waited until I felt your heart stop.” Theo’s voice is cold and even, like it doesn’t mean a thing. Scott’s eyes dart immediately to the movement of Theo’s fingers at his side, minute, threatening.

Always threatening.

Scott’s fingers twitch in turn, claws pricking beneath the tips of his fingers, begging to sink into Theo’s flesh. He curls them in, breathing against the temptation.

“What more do I have to do, Scott,” He glances up, locking eyes with Theo, “to make you give up?”

I don't have a good summary for this one yet :( but basically Scott & Kira talk about the trauma they have with each other. It's healing.

👻 Now I See You in My Nightmares - sceo, theo & scott POVs, set a few months post-series

After Theo is freed from Bardo, his nightmares continue to manifest his guilt over the crimes he’s committed. The only difference: now the dreams include Scott, and Tara is no longer the one punishing him. He’s punishing himself. 

🔥spark me up - sceo, theo & scott POVs, set 10 years post-series

After the events at the hospital, Theo skips town without a goodbye. When living in his truck is no longer an option, Theo gets roped into supernatural bounty hunting for a living, which he's predictably good at. Scott attends UC Davis, somehow managing to complete his pre-med courses and pacify Monroe. Unfortunately, Gerard's genocidal movement has already snowballed beyond her, and Scott can't sustain med school while fighting a war. 10 years down the line, Scott and Theo reconnect. Things gets messy.

I absolutely love sushi for the soul. This fic makes my soul feel so full with it's Ken and Scott and Kira and Scott and Scira and just THEEEMMMM. <3 <3 Ken is criminally underexplored, and so is Ken and Scott and Ken and Kira frankly, so this is quadruply amazing to have.

do you think when stiles found out about scott and theo and the library that he actually felt jealous of lydia and her terrible premonitions for once because when lydia's best friend died, she felt it to the core of her being, but when stiles' best friend died, he didn't know a damn thing.

it seems absurd that something like that could pass without rippling through the earth—he lives in california, the shakeout state, so stiles knows all about aftershocks—surely there’d be some undeniable change in the air. like, if someone came up to you with a chainsaw and sliced your entire left arm off at the shoulder, you'd fucking notice it wouldn't you? but the worst fifteen minutes of his life came and passed and to stiles they were no different from any other fifteen minutes.

and it plagues him for the rest of his life because now he knows that he could be driving roscoe down some road far from beacon hills and his whole world could disappear and he'd be oblivious for as long as it took for lydia's caller id to flash on his phone screen.

Announcing Scira Appreciation Weekend 2025!

We're pleased to announce we're partnering with @kirayukimuraappreciation to bring the first ever Scott/Kira appreciation weekend!! Running from September 13-15, 2025, the Scott and Kira blogs will both be reblogging all submissions! Scott and Kira bond over being the first people to truly see the other and not flinch away, and this element of seeing is key to their dynamic—whether it's strong in 3b, or under attack in s5! This prompt is for exploring the various ways they might see each other, whether it's Scott seeing Kira's fox spirit under control (or out of control), Kira seeing Scott's mortal wound, them discussing s4 trauma, and more!

DAY 2/SEPT. 14: YOU CAME BACK FOR ME

Canon (and actor contracts) often forces Scira apart throughout the series, but that just means they have even more opportunities to fight their way back together! What does it mean to Kira that Scott came back for her in 5b, or to Scott that she came back for him to fight the Beast? What might it look like when they reunite post-canon? What if Kira were the one to call Scott back from being a berserker, or Scott had to call Kira out of a fox-spirit takeover? How does Bardo connect (or separate) them? Let the parallels begin!

DAY 3/SEPT. 15: CAN I SHOW YOU SOMETHING?

Trust is a key aspect to Scira's relationship—trusting each other with their supernatural forms, of course, but also Scott trusting Kira with the lightbulbs in s4 and in 5b, or Kira trusting Scott can defeat the Beast and get into UC Davis? What does it mean for Scott to trust Kira will return, or for Kira to trust he'll protect her tail? By contrast, how do they deal with struggling to trust each other in 5a? And what does it look like for that to be rewarded?

gasp - from “It’s called sacrifice for a reason” a WIP wherein Scott becomes increasingly uncertain about reality after dying and coming back to life in s5. Feat a strong possibility of Nemeton fuckery :)

Scott remembers gasping himself awake in the basin, the feeling of water rushing into his lungs, frigid and unforgiving as it swallowed up any oxygen. The burn of trace wolfsbane from the water, the panic from the abrupt fullness of his lungs.

When the asthma attacks started up again, it was like his chest was filling up, so pressurized he felt it might simply burst open. Like whatever was causing it would overflow. But there was nothing there to burst, his chest so constricted he couldn’t get any air in.

Asthma attacks, panic attacks—they robbed him of air in a different way, but...they felt an awful lot like drowning, too.

Scott collapses the moment he reaches the bed’s edge. It’s nice to finally be off his feet—he isn’t sure how much longer he could have kept upright before passing out. It’s almost worse sitting down with the way his body bends, the movement pushing fresh blood past the coagulated mess binding flesh to polyester. He grimaces at the feeling, sickeningly warm.

Several moments pass; Scott completely still, barely breathing, eyes closed tightly with one hand pressed to his middle, willing the blood to stop flowing. Waiting to welcome numbness in pain’s stead.

When he opens his eyes Theo hasn’t moved a muscle, still standing halfway between the open door and the foot of the bed. His eyes are trained on Scott’s chest.

He looks hunted. Not quite a deer in headlights, more like the wounded strays Scott handles at the clinic. Tense, uneasy.

Like if scott makes one wrong move he’ll run.

strain - from my big Sceo WIP “now I see you in my nightmares” with Theo facing his guilt over murdering Scott, and digging his own claws in his chest in his sleep, and pathetically pining. And Scott struggling with grief/trauma over dying, and feeling conflicted but wanting to help theo, and maybe also pining in his own way. :))

The heart is no different than any other muscle—designed to be damaged and to build itself back stronger. And, like any other muscle, it can only take so much strain before the tears stop mending.

Before it breaks for good.

ahh, thank you so much for the ask! 🥰❤️ docs made this so hard to find bc it was like "i see you searched red...did you mean every word ending in 'red' :D" but we got there eventually!

red - from a sceo wip that's temporarily on hold, in which scott gets severely injured, and theo helps clean him up

His eyes can't seem to leave Theo’s face, studiously taking in the harsh crease between his brows, the jump of a muscle from the tension in his jaw, the clinical nature of how he examines Scott’s wounds. Still, he can’t help but notice how Theo’s fingertips linger wherever they touch—his eyes even longer. They both know Scott is healing, so Theo’s laser focus isn’t born of concern. Maybe he’s calculating where his fingers can rest…and how close can he get to the center of Scott’s chest before Scott freaks out. Scott wonders, idly, how restless Theo’s fingers might be if he let his guard down….if he’d pull them away. If he’d want to touch Scott more. It’s funny, he thinks, how focused Theo is on cleaning Scott up, but he’s covered in blood too. Red droplets of vulnerability speckling his face, stark against the stoicism. He wants so badly to reach out and touch.

Ok what about “a blessing in disguise”. Or “lost in thought”. Or, if that’s not in anything, what about the word “blood”. (If you can’t tell I want to hit on something that’s one one of them 😂)

thank you for the ask!! 🥺💕Unfortunately there were no hits on either phrase (😔🙏) but we got one with the word!

blood - answered here. But there's plenty of blood to be found in my wip's :) From a big scott/theo wip, "Now I See You in My Nightmares", focused on theo's guilt over The Murder™️and trying to atone, scott struggling to face that particular trauma and trying to forgive, and the two of them learning how to be in the other's life. Per the title, there are nightmares involved. Theo is maybe reliving the murder every night (tara ripping his heart out in the hellscape style) and waking up with his own claws in his chest. :)

Theo feels caught when Melissa steps into the kitchen, a bag full of groceries balanced against her left hip, vegetables spilling over like she’s stuffed it as full as possible. Her purse is dangling from one handle where she’s lazily slipped it over her arm, and her keys look one second away from being tossed somewhere. Washing his hands of blood in her kitchen sink–even if it is his own–suddenly makes Theo feel criminal, like the act is taking something away from her. The same way he took her son.  Theo knows that Scott is just upstairs, can hear his steady heartbeat and the light tap of his shoe against the floor. He knows that Scott is fine now, but there was a time when he wasn’t fine--wasn’t anything but dead. 15 minutes of a Scott-less world–a void so cold and empty that he couldn’t possibly justify. And Melissa hasn’t forgotten about it.

What is happening - from a s5 kira WIP focused on identity, her relationship with her fox spirit, and what it means for the spirit to be taking over as things get worse. Once finished it should span the entirety of 5a-b, and possibly some of her time with the skinwalkers :)

She can’t help but feel like one of the wounded animals at the clinic with the way Scott’s handling her now–voice gentle and coaxing, like she might bite.  “Scott…it’s okay.” She sighs, trying to fight back the disappointment. The urge to burst into flames. “The last time I was around telluric currents, things didn’t go so well.” “Yeah, well, this is the school. You’re there every day, it’s not the same.” Kira wants to believe what he’s saying so badly it’s almost convincing.  “I made it worse by being at Eichen. They used me to get inside.” She wants to cry–nearly does when she meets his gaze. “I think I need to figure out what’s happening to me before I try helping anyone else.”  There’s a hesitancy in his voice, even as he reassures her. A glint of fear in his eyes.  She tries to convince herself it doesn’t hurt.
