"¿No lo extrañas? Daría todo por alguna comida de casa" Antoine mumbles bit, wishing he'd learned how to cook more, before they moved to Revachol. He, though, definitely perks up at the idea of something to do. "Ooo, we should go out and look around Boogie Street, sometime" he says, nudging Eli a bit.

Oh hey. That’s pretty neat. I haven’t met anyone from home since moving to Revachol. Have I missed any interesting changes in the past ten or so years?

"Hey! ¡Un otro Mesqueano! ¡Chévere!" Antoine says, excited.

"Hm... El último rey murió. Y un nuevo rey fue coronado por supuesto. Levantaba el presupuesto militar pa' echar gallitos, pero ahora los líderes militares están..." Eli says but pauses trying to find the right wording, "embriagado de poder."

Antoine opens his mouth to argue that they have a point and that it doesn't make sense for the military to follow orders from someone who hadn't ever served, but remembers that that line of logic tends to start fights between them both. He shuts his mouth, awkwardly shifting his weight.

"There's also a new trend of themed bars and restaurants, which is really cool" he says, instead, a bit awkward. "We went to a Dick Mullen one and some of the drinks had little gummy guns in them." The two had spent a while throwing sticky, booze coated gummies at each other, trying to get them in each other's mouths. It's a fond memory for both of them. Eli smiles a bit.

personally i keep mixing up two of my characters but also their names are joseph and jacob so that’s entirely my fault

oh oh wait . i realized i couldnt name my character antoine . but thats a name you could take and use other languages variants (antonio, anthony, anthonn, secret fourth thing)

I could have the more militaristic of the two take the name Antoine as he moves to Revachol, trying to fit in better, but missing his old name!

And, in Doyalist sense, it'd make it much easier to tell each character's name apart if they sound so different. Hopefully, anyways.

Eli: "You see, that's the problem, really. Anything we say to anyone here can and will be treated as a complete and total fact for all of Mesque and everyone in it" He's not mad at Judit, he just seems frustrated. It's unclear if this is why he's being a contrarian constantly, or if he just enjoys it. Or both.

Daniel: "I mean, it makes sense. We'd know Mesque better than most here. And it's great, really. They paid for me to go to college."

Eli: "But you had to join the military, which is messed up."

Daniel: "And there's so many different options in stores!"

Eli: "But they all taste the same and none of the labels even mean anything."

Daniel, with a huff: "Could you let me talk for two seconds?" He's only somewhat annoyed, seeing as he saw it coming a mile away.

Eli sticks out his tongue, which makes Daniel huff out a laugh and stick his hand over the other's face.

Daniel, laughing but trying hard not to: "You're so immature."
