On that note, i also fully diy-d my dm screen. It has deteriorated largely by now, because of mishandling, but it looked cool as shit when it was freshly made. It was basically cardboard, duct tape and some paintwork:

With the continued sorting of my living space, my old DM folder got into my hand. The last game i ever run a few years back never concluded because one of the group members ghosted us and it still bummes me out. I put a lot of time into that one. It was a fully homebrew world, brainstormed with the players' backstories and interests in mind and everything. I'm sad we never got to do much in it. But i made a cool map and since it's a drawing, and this is my blog i can put it here.

I put many nods and easter eggs on it from books and movies and games me and the rest of the group loved. It took me over a week to put it together from sketch to final map. I had ideas and plans for every spot on it. I also was already working on the expanded continent, alongside with the larger cities' plans when the game died, so i never got around to finish those. But i'm still proud of the work i put into this world that never truly got to be.

So i'm actively trying to find something in my room at the moment and out of all things this is something i was not counting on running into at all.

I drew this 13-14 years ago for a high school art competition i did not wanted to join at all. Unsurprisingly i did not get into top 3 but i did get a special prize for some reason? I sadly don't remember what was the theme, but i know i got singled out because of going around a completely different way than anyone else.

Aaand that's it because i don't remember much about the piece beyond this. I think i bullshitted something about depression and circumstances and safe space, but that was later at the highschool ending exam for my portfolio showing.

Thank you. 🫂 Yeah i get them in only every now and then (if i don't count this relentless one) and some of it is probably deserved, but even i need a break sometimes. Which i had not have much of lately, but such is life.

I get a lot of anon hate, as well. One in particular is cruel and unyielding. Ignoring and deleting is painful, but to respond would be like screaming at a spectre. I hope you get some peace in this stressful time.

Hey there, sorry it took so long to answer, i didn't really had much mind to venture into my inbox sooner. What i deserve is up for argument on most days, but alas, i appreciate the sentiment. 🫂 But yeah. I'm usually better at handling stuff, but this year so far was not even a roller-coaster just a continuos rolling down on a rocky hill.
