Bro there’s tons of people who genuinely watch and anticipate new releases at build a bear and now that I work there people want news as to restocks and stuff. Never thought I’d be in this kind of position. I’m always the one watching merch companies and frothing at the mouth to know when new shit comes out or gets restocked.

I didn’t know people made whole ass build a bear collections. Now I do.

Btw idk if it isn’t clear but I don’t look down on these people I just didn’t think about it before so I’m surprised. Tho I shouldn’t be. There’s collectors for everything.

Though I’ll let you know just about every build a bear in a 60 mile radius of us is out of shadow the hedgehog. He sold out so fast.

Also cookiebara was shockingly popular and in high demand. People still ask about it.

there are two wolves inside me

one wants to decorate the study in modern gaming aesthetic with bright rainbow lights mixed with smooth black minimalist furniture

the second wolf wants to turn the study into a fantasy study out of an rpg with aged maps, potion bottles, and dragon posters.

a big pet peeve of mine in fiction is when something dangerous happens to a character that seems unbelievable (i.e a ghost, alien, or robot attacking them. monsters in the basement, etc.) and they say "we cant call the police! theyll never believe us!" or even WORSE when they DO call the police but since the police dont buy their story they wont give them the time of day

Bro. if you tell any cop "something is in my house / something attacked me. I AM AFRAID FOR MY LIFE" the police WILL come and help. if you call 911 and just say youre scared and need someone there urgently they will help.

its just extremely frustrating to see characters in a situation they SHOULD and in real life WOULD have the police's help with and because of the complete lack of help by ANY emergency professional there is much more danger and conflict than there needs to be.
