When was peak tumblr and do you miss it?

Peak tumblr was 2010 to like 2017 ish imo! I do miss it! There was a more active community. There was also no algorithm on tumblr at the time (or ads) so you saw the posts of the people you followed. Now I’m a social media manger and spend my time on FB and IG, and they just aren’t the same.

There is! Thank you for checking in anon! Fuckin Alfred. Old mate is taking his sweet time to show up but things are predicted to get interesting in the next 24 hours. It’s a bit concerning because cyclones usually don’t come this far south and a lot of houses aren’t really built for it the way they are in the far north and significant parts of the affected regions is prone to flooding.

Personally I should be okay, I’m in a major city away from the coast and in an apartment, not a freestanding house, and never flooded or even lost power in other storm situations. Mostly I’m both bored with waiting and anxious about what might happen!
