Please Stan Snuper, I'm Begging.

As a Swing currently struggling to pay and struggle through art school I’ve done just about all I can do. I can’t buy albums and when I can I have a set list of the ones I want. I try to go in order and Rain of Mind is the album after next I hope to buy. I can’t always buy digitally and my wifi sucks and youtube has been keeping my views from counting recently.

All I can offer is occasional fanart, edits, and dumb text posts begging my small number of followers to help support this wonderful group.

Snuper’s Woosung mentioned his worry of their latest album being their last. Last I checked/heard, their latest MV hadn’t even reached 30,000 views on YouTube. That’s absolutely heart breaking.

I’ve lost my three favorite groups all in the span of about a year and a half. I’ve stayed in the fandom because of the friends I’ve made and because KPop was something that helped me through an incredibly rough time in my life, so I’m too sentimental to let go. I don’t want to see another group so high up on the list of groups I’ve been so proud to watch grow fall into that pit with the others I loved so much. I honestly couldn’t take another disbandment. I’d need such a long break from KPop, from Tumblr, from every social media I’m a part of. I don’t want to do it because I’m afraid if I leave even for a short time, I’ll comeback to more bad news and miss all the good that may have happened in between.

All I’m asking is for you to go watch their latest MV. Give them a chance. I love these six, talented, young men so much. I don’t want to see them have to give up on their dreams so soon. I want them to succeed, just enough so their company feels like it needs them. So they can keep singing and dancing and smiling up on the stage like they love to do. Widmay has already shown that Snuper is expendable enough to even think of adding a new member just to draw attention and perhaps fame, while jeopardizing Snuper’s group dynamic and iconic sound.

I don’t want to lose Snuper, especially not now. So please, just try watching their newest MV. Listen to their title track. Just try to see if you like them. That’s all I ask. I’m tired of crying over the groups I let myself get hyperfixated on to distract myself from the pain I’m in because they’re forced to disband.

I want one happy story. Please let that happy story be Snuper.

do y'all have any idea how hard it is to come to terms with your depression and work through it on your own? how amazing it is that he opens up to us, and not selfishly, but so to inspire fans who might feel the same as he has?

namjoon suffers from depression. namjoon wanted to die. he’s told us. and on his own he worked through it. he got himself through those times. if you suffer from depression you should fucking understand how hard this is, esp in a country that really disregards mental illness. and how brave it is that he’d speak up about it so fans won’t feel like they’re alone.

fake deep? fake deep is yalls dumbass tumblr posts with the weird ass poetry that ends with the initials of some irrelevant poet to make it seem like it’s something important. fake deep is the kid in ur class that questions everything in the dumbest way in an attempt to sound smart. that’s not namjoon.

namjoon talks to us about how to find happiness and beauty in our lives bc he once lost it to the point of wanting to die. he tells us about believing in a future bc he nearly abandoned his own. he talks to us about dreams bc his were nearly not enough to hold him to this earth. he talks about feeling alone bc he, in his depression, felt isolated despite being surrounded by six close friends. namjoon opens up to us because this is his experience that he had to suffer to get, and furthermore, this is the experience that inspires him to do what he can to help ppl who feel the same.

namjoon knew damn well he’d be criticized for opening up. he knew that telling the world about his insecurities and depression and suicidal thoughts would result in mockery. but from his very own fandom? namjoon, the foundation of everything army loves? to think this fandom, without a damn care in the world, would be the biggest perpetrator of the mockery?

idc if it’s jokes. y'all wouldn’t dare mock yoongi for his depression, so I don’t understand why you think it’s okay to do the same to namjoon.

People talk about modern heartbreak in a romantic way, but what about heartbreak in friendships? Or people who were your best friend and something more? No one talks about what it’s like to get so used to talk to someone everyday, and then have that slowly fade out of existence. Like, one day you just stop messaging each other or the conversations get dull or they just stop responding. Then you sit there with all of these memories and all of this time you spent Skyping or texting or hanging out, and suddenly that’s all you’re left with. Memories that you’re afraid only you care about anymore, yet you still don’t know how to let them go. So, you sit there months later, wondering what happened and if you could’ve done something to change it.

🚨 The internet needs you 🚨

You’re up again, Tumblr. 

Back in 2015 you demanded that the FCC adopt strict net neutrality rules and establish a free and open internet. And you won. 

That should’ve been the end of it. But apparently not.

The new head of the FCC wants to undo the net neutrality protections you fought so hard for.

His proposed changes open the door to your web traffic being slowed down, or even blocked altogether. You could be forced to pay extra to use your favorite apps. You could even be prevented from getting news from the sources you trust.

Title II protects consumers and democracy by ensuring all voices can be heard.

You know the drill. Here’s what to do:

The FCC is taking comments from the public, and dearfcc.org is making it as simple as possible for you to make your voice heard.

You’ll just need to provide a name, an address, and then say a little bit about why rolling back Title II protections is a bad idea. If you’re not quite sure what to write, here’s something to get you started:

I’m writing to urge you to keep our Open Internet rules based on Title II in place. Without them, we could lose the internet as we know it.

The proposed changes to FCC rules would allow fast lanes for sites that pay, and force everyone else into slow lanes. We’ve already seen access to streaming services like Netflix, popular games like League of Legends, and communication platforms like FaceTime slowed down, or even blocked. Conditions like this hurt businesses large and small, and penalize the users who patronize them. 

The changes also open the door to unfair taxes on internet users, and could also make it harder for blogs, nonprofits, artists, and others who can’t pay up to have their voices heard.

Please leave the existing net neutrality rules based on Title II in place.
