The Full Strawberry Moon — June 11, 2025
On June 11, 2025, the sky will be bathed in the soft, ripe glow of the Strawberry Moon — a full moon named for the wild strawberries that begin to ripen this time of year. But this isn’t just about fruit or seasons. This moon is a spiritual marker. A gentle but powerful reminder: we are in a time of sweet transformation.
The Strawberry Moon is all about fruition, emotional ripening, and savoring the present moment. It’s when intentions planted earlier in the year begin to bloom — a time to honor what is growing, what is becoming, and what is ready to be harvested in your life.
Strawberry Moon Magic:
• Reflect on emotional or spiritual growth since the start of the year
• Work love spells — romantic, platonic, or self-love focused
• Journal on what you want to savor and protect this summer
• Charge crystals like rose quartz, moonstone, and rhodonite
• Make a sweet moon water infusion with strawberries or floral herbs
• Light pink or white candles to call in softness, clarity, and healing
This moon whispers: slow down, gather, enjoy. It holds the magic of soft kisses, laughter in warm air, and barefoot dreams. Let it guide you into a heart-centered space where pleasure and purpose meet. This is a beautiful time to cleanse your energy, nurture your connections, and honor your heart’s desires.
Affirmation: I allow joy to find me. I taste the sweetness of now. I am open to love, in all its forms.
As always, listen to the moon and what it stirs in you — your body, your magic, your emotions. She speaks in symbols, in softness, and in light. Don’t just watch her… feel her.

I discovered pocket shrines recently. It seems like a nice and soothing crafty thing to make. I just started my first one; it's an ode to ocean, with seaweed, shells, and a piece of polished glass, that I gathered at the sea. There's a photo of one of my favorite places at the center, a verse from a poem and a siren that I drew. Now I'm slowly sewing it all together, with small pearls and lace.
Have a look at my blog for more whimsical and gentle art ⛵️

Mariners protection spell jar recipe 🫙🌊
A simple protection jar (or pouch) for beachcombers, sailors, or all other individuals who wish for some protection when in the domain of Poseidon and the ocean.
(*You do not need all of these to make the jar or pouch, any one or any combination of these should theoretically work as long as your intentions are faithful)
✨ = what I used in my jar
~ Saltwater: (jar only) ✨
~ Sand: (pouch or jar) ✨
~ Aquamarine crystal (any size or quality is equally effective, wether a chip or tumble) ✨
~ Beach glass
~ Dried sage
~ Greek protect kharakter ✨
~ Thurizaz rune
The jar can be any size, wether that’s a shelf sized mason jar, or a pocket sized herb jar, and you can bury it, place it at an altar, or wear it in your purse or pocket, and it will act as a ward against threats from the sea and it’s ferocity.

other beach items to look for!
Shark Teeth - a big favorite of many, they symbolize growth to me.
Driftwood - For transformation, and useful in shrines, altars, and for wands!
Kelp/Seaweed - good for growth. Very helpful when found, as you can even eat certain types when cooked properly
Coral Fragments - Very helpful. make sure you're taking pale, dead coral (AKA ghost coral to me!)
Saltwater - good for cleansing the home, and soul.
Black Sand - manifestation material! mostly found on volcanic beaches.
Barnacles - (Dead only!) good for ancestral protection, especially when going abroad. found on ship sides and shells.
Sand - grounding, Dream work. found on any beach! Take the dry Sand so it doesn't stick to the container you hold it in!
Mermaid’s Purse (shark egg case) - New life, rebirth, and fertility. usually, only take the empty ones! Don't take any that are still alive, either.
Pumice Stone - Lightness and removal of negativity; found on volcanic shores.

gemstone tips, and gems for the sea!
Keep away from water 💦 — selenite, malachite, lapis, labradorite (do not use in rituals up on the beach!), hematite, pyrite, halite, turquoise, calcite, angelite … basically anything under 5 in the mohs scale, and anything too porous! 💎
Use water to recharge 💦 — Clear quartz, amethyst (only short periods), moonstone (moonwater preferred), rose quartz, aquamarine, smokey quartz, carnelian.
Important tip: Even if a crystal is water safe, long soaks aren’t usually recommended unless you’re 100% sure — a short dip or splash is safer.

✨ Tips for Collecting Shells
Respect local laws: Some places protect shells, corals, and marine wildlife! Always check if it's okay to take them.
Ethical gathering: Only take empty, dead shells (never with a creature still inside).
Cleanse shells: Wash gently with water and sea salt before using them in spells or altars.
🐚 Shell Magic Ideas
Use cowrie shells in money bowls.
Sand dollars are amazing for transformation rituals.
Conch shells can be used as literal horns to call spirits or start a ritual.
Tiny auger shells make great protection charms to wear or carry.
Paper nautilus shells (if you can find one!!) are perfect for creativity and dream weaving magic.
other sites to use: Shelling tips , shell hunting in Texas , Where and when to find shells
Note: some shells match certain moon phases! Do extra research before using, and make sure the ones you're taking aren't still alive or home to a hermit crab! that can be a miniature trouble! especially if the snail inside is possibly poisonous or venomous.
