I have been in major reflection mode of this past year... It's something I've never done before. I've spent many years repeating past mistakes, missing goals, and falling short of my own expectations. You could be reading this thinking I'm crazy because it's clear that I do work pretty hard. Thats how it is when you have high standards for yourself to reach... But YA know..@ the same time, I'm so proud of the woman I've already become. I'm proud of the woman Im fighting to become. And even as I reflect on my wins, lessons learned and failures, I don't EVER want to lose the spark and enthusiasm that HOPE provides my soul and heart 🙏❤️ I may not be there yet, but man this journey has been a blessing AND a lesson. I want to go into 2015 Knowing I learned some valuable lessons from 2014. I want to know that I'm enough and that my happiness is on ME. That I've celebrated and learned from struggle and success. As painful as some life lessons can be, there's a beauty in it because THAT is where you find YOUR strength to come back better than ever. It's funny how the things we want to avoid will provide the very things you need to better understand, appreciate and endure your personal journey. I feel young in my path, I know that I've only scratched the surface... And I'm prepared to step farther out of my comfort zone because it's one step closer to where I REALLY want to be. My hope is that YOU ALSO don't lose your ✨SPARK✨ to hope, to dream, to believe and to achieve... I believe that it's out there for all of us. But it HAS to be intentional, so here I am. Intending to grow and learn 🙏

Who wants to tone their inner thighs? YOU? Me too! Read on. Tell me that these look easy! AH ok so I know most people loathe burpees probably as much as I do but if you want a lean figure, burpees will help. What I love about these sumo burpee jacks is that it really targets your inner thighs… and I struggle hitting those muscles and often forget to focus on them. You’re doing it right if: > When you get down into a burpee, your body should look like its in plank — no wrinkles in the back of your neck (keep your eyes/gaze 3-5 inches forward— I like to find a piece of dog hair to focus on since there’s ample supply around here) > Hands are shoulder width apart with your grip mostly on your finger tips and between your thumb and pointer finger to avoid a lot of wrist tension > a SLIGHT bend in the elbows to prevent from locking (if you have ever hurt your elbow joints like I have, you know to keep a small bend #ouch). > Jump back, do a jack in and out with your feet which targets the inner thighs, jump your feet back up to your hands with your toes TURNED OUT to target the INNER THIGHS again, jump your feet together and REPEAT. REALLY REALLY focus on 1. your form 2. that your toes are turned out so its a SUMO burpee and not just a regular one! If you want it to be harder, add ankle weights or ankle resistance bands. They look easy, but they’ll serve your sweet tush a plate of humble pie because you will be hurting! For more follow @fromflabtofabfitness and don’t forget to comment on what you would like to see! CIAO and Happy Saturday!

Quads are GREAT to have but I L❤️VE working those hammies and challenging my stability. The great thing about this exercise is that it makes the entire leg work with an emphasis on the hamstrings. #1. Keep a slight bend in your knee of your standing leg #2. Focus on something in front of you 3 or so feet away that's on the floor or a spot on the wall... Keep the wrinkles out of the back of your neck. When you slide the weight (I'm using 20lbs) down your leg make sure that you don't let your head fall or you'll go down with it. Where your focus goes 👀 your body will flow ✌️ #3. Let the floating leg be like an anchor.. Tap the toe if need be when coming up to regain balance if you're still trying this out. Do 3x20 each leg! BURN 🔥 baby burn! This will target the back of your thighs, create a nice hammy tie in over time, and will challenge your core and balance. Have fun!

I love love love these dips. I threw on the ankle weights to #makeitcount because why not? If you don't have a BOSU ball, a coffee table, bench, stability ball, spouse, etc. Don't forget the most important part: squeeze! And hold for a second or two at the top. Work for it 👌 do 4x20!

When I first started Beachbody I got a LOT of flack from people who were close to me. “Why are you trying to lose weight? you look fine!” “Why are you always sharing your p90x workout?!” “I don’t get why you post about food so much” “What happens when you eat something bad, do people know that too?” And I have to admit, it STUNG like no other. I remember reading a passage that said something along the lines, “When you go after what you want, it holds a mirror up to those around you… & it can be very uncomfortable for some because they realize all that THEY haven’t accomplished” & boy is that true. But my intentions weren’t to make people feel less than in my pursuit for personal growth. My intention was to change MY life. And I decided then, you can either support me and get on board or you and I can talk a lot less. Over time the people who love me and support me realized that I wasn’t going to give up, that I was in it for the long haul. Make your jokes and say what you will, but my skin is thick as a rhino and my heart is in the right place. && Sometimes I did receive more support and encouragement from people I didn’t know… simply because they were on the same path as I was to a better life. We didn’t need to judge each other because we understood one another. I’m FOREVER grateful for these people and you know who you are! Sometimes you have to slowly take people out of your life that don’t ADD but subtract from it. If you need to have that conversation with someone who is close to you but doesn’t understand it, do it. Draw the line in the sand, tell them to respect your passion and share your vision with them. People usually judge what they don’t understand. If you are a new coach or you know someone who is, don’t bring them down because you don’t understand their enthusiasm, and don’t stop being enthusiastic because people don’t get it like you do.💪

When do you usually get your sweat on? 😅 Morning? Night? Afternoon? I’m a morning person preferably because I like to feel strong and lean all day, plus its an immediate high to get my day going! #HIGHonLIFE ✌️👊💥 Today I’m bringing you some oblique and plank action. Nothing BORES me more than doing crunches and sit ups old school style on the floor… I’ve done them for years and I’m OVAH it! So if you are too, get that bod in plank position on your forearms and get ready to rock. 💪 Raise your hand if you’re like me and FED up with not seeing any ab definition. I worked hard to get a flat tummy (I suggest plyometric cardio and core exercises) but now I want some SERIOUS definition. I want those obliques that carve your hips out and lead to that banging booty. I’ve got a WAYS to go but we’re in this together!👯👫 So on your forearms, keep your neck wrinkle free — AKA don’t let your big ole head dip down and throw your spine off. Form is everythannngg! Don’t stick that booty in the air either, keep it level with your torso. Dip each hip side to side, then switch out to oblique side crunches. Knee to shoulder, knee to shoulder. Let it burn. Don’t even count your reps until it hurts and then do 8 more. 😩😉 So who’s with me on the AB BRIGADE?! As always for more @fromflabtofabfitness @fromflabtofabfitness

🎧 Now I shine so bright, can you see my light? I’m unstoppable 🎧 So today I’m bringing you shoulders and core... I’m the first to admit that I avoid ab day like most people avoid eating what’s good for them. BUT the power of your life lies in one thing: CHOICE... choice to do it and choice not to do it. I saw where my body went when I chose to not do a lot of things that were good for me. And I know ab day is good for me, so in a way, doing these videos for you guys DOES keep me accountable too. And since I’ve been slacking on my ab game, thats what you can expect. So today, get in your plank and try not to bounce too much, although I know its a little hard when you’re switching hands.. but do your best to stay static! Tap one shoulder, then the next, keep a stead tempo and time yourself. Next, switch arms and punch forward. Not only will you work those boulder shoulders, but you’re targeting your core, chest, back, legs... shoot the whole sha-bang. Planks=all over ass kicking workout. Enjoy! and let it 🔥 #noPAINnoGAIN For MAS (more) don't forget to follow my video acct at @fromflabtofabfitness 💪+🎬=👌

Ladies,do you catch yourself wondering whats the BEST exercises for the booty? If so, please keep checking back here. It’s one of my FAV muscles to workout because it use to be my LEAST favorite body part. Conquering what you thought was once out of reach = satisfaction. But I’m not done and Im not even close to where I want to be. BUT today I’m sharing with you the OG donkey kicks. I know its been shared time and time again, but if you skip the kicks, you’re missing out on your best booty. So grab those ankle weights (or none if you're starting out) and make sure to keep your knee bent at 90 degree angle. Focus on the squeeze at the top and contract on the way down. Do 4x20 on each leg, then do the next variation. Take that bent knee and dip it behind your leg planted on the ground to work another angle. If you want a great tush, you gotta work those angles. At least thats what my personal trainer (Leandro Carvahlo) told me ;-) as always -- for more like this follow @fromflabtofabfitness 💪 #fatbottomedgirlsmaketherockinWORLDgoROUND

Have you seen this move before? If so, You may recognize it from Brazil Butt Lift Master Series OR maybe you have seen someone else do it. But all I gotta say is this move is LEGIT. Grab your stability ball, and roll out to the top of your mat, and LIFT your legs up, about shoulder width apart. Try to contract as you lower your legs so that you get the SQUEEZE in there. This will work your lower back, booty, hammies and obliques. Looks easy but slap on some 10lb ankle weights and you’ve got yourself one helluva workout. Get that rear in gear today people!
