A few of the fonts I tried to use for my front page, I chose the first option in the end because it worked best with the rest of my front page and stood out but not to the point that it was overwhelming.

How I made the guitar outline for my contents page, firstly I drew out the outline and scanned it into the computer, afterwards I used Lunapic to turn it into a transparent image that would be easier to edit, then Photoshop to put it onto the magazine and add effects. I used windows movie maker to speed up the process in the video.

I asked people within the 16-17 target audience demographic of my rock magazine which colours they preferred on the front cover, purple was the most popular choice.
