Omg I can finally talk to somebody about my love for mysme g/t!!! Anyways, I had a dream one time that I was a borrower living in Seven's bunker, but I woke up the moment I got discovered. I would've loved to continue that dream, though. So what do you think would happen after Seven discovers a borrower?
SORRY THIS TOOK MONTHS TO RESPOND TO, I DON'T REALLY HAVE A REASON OR EXCUSE BEHIND IT KHNGJH
This is a very good question though, because I can see it going in a few different ways. Let me see if I can sort them out coherently (no promises)
Discovering a borrower in his house would be alarming. Not only because holy shit a tiny person , but also because of his line of work. Who knows who this person is or if they're working for anyone.
I can imagine Luciel and the borrower holding eye contact for an extended period of time, both either running through what they could do about this situation in their heads or their minds going completely blank. As the trope goes, the tiny would make the first move. Trying to run, using the mess that is 707's house to make their escape, but unfortunately the redhead would be more than capable of cornering them and/or grabbing them in his hands.
Holding this person in an iron-fist, he'd probably look the borrower over inquisitively, trying to sus them out.. but, assuming they(or, I suppose, you in this case) are innocent, he wouldn't be able to find anything suspicious.
This would call for heavy silence, the borrower frozen in fear or struggling, and Seven keeping a firm grip while waiting for them (and himself) to calm down.
Then you'd get a very awkward conversational exchange, introducing names, asking what the borrower is doing there.. but if they plan to stay, Seven would either set down ground rules or completely deny them (he can't risk anything regarding his work getting out, even if you do seem innocent).
Regardless, there's potential for them(or the both of you) to bond, it would just take time! And I can easily see angst in the future of this concept too.
(small bonus)
But, but but but! If he finds a borrower at someone else's house or on the streets, that's a bit of a different story. Less anxiety-fueled accidental aggression, I'd say. Probably just curiosity?? Following them/chasing them, being his goofy self upon introductions... YEA!
Sorry if this isn't to your satisfaction, I'm relatively new to posting/doing G/T stories/concepts

Is dottore keeping aether in his pockets ?
I feel that his mood would be chiper having his adorable tiny child around and everyone around him including the other fatui would be on edge cause of it.
Dottore definitely does keep Aether with him at most times because he gets a bit paranoid considering all of Aether's nearly successful escape attempts.
(Rambling under the cut)
I would say he's a bit more secretive as well, not wanting other Fatui members to know about Aether once he gets attached (including most of his subordinates). If word gets out that he has the traveler in his lab, the chances that Dottore will be able to just keep him there indefinitely are…low. Since many know the traveler by name and word-of-mouth, rather than appearance, Dottore gives Aether an outfit change and tells him to respond to a different name. Aether refuses to go along with said plan, volunteering the information more often than not in hopes that word of where he is will get out.
Subordinates who are closer to the doctor will see Aether from time to time, mostly during escape attempts or when Aether gets fed up and goes free-range. They have been instructed to not harm him, so they don't really know what to do whenever they see him. No one really wants to risk angering the doctor by disobeying orders, but with Aether’s refusal to stay still, it can be difficult to apprehend him without potentially causing some harm. Overall, the vibe is very tense. Typically, this results in Dottore getting called in to handle it, which he will complain excessively about. The aftermath of events such as this is Dottore putting Aether in a spare bottle that he keeps in his coat. Aether will do anything to avoid this, which usually just means that he tires himself out before he gets caught.
The sound-proof bottle is also implemented during Fatui meetings. As much as Dottore doesn't want any permanent harm to befall Aether at the hands of any other harbingers, he also doesn't want specifically Childe finding out anything about it. Dottore knows he would be less than thrilled about losing his favorite sparring partner, therefore being more inclined to help. The doctor doesn't like bringing Aether to meetings with other harbingers, but ultimately weighed it against leaving Aether to his own devices for hours on end.
Dottore will try to scare Aether into compliance if he believes he's getting too out of control. I haven't decided if Dottore trusts Pantalone enough in this universe to plan out a scare with him. Something along the lines of foisting him onto another harbinger, so Dottore can show up to “save” him and give an ‘it could be so much worse’ type of speech.
Aether will also occasionally sneak out just to break things around the lab out of spite. This provokes the same response in any lab workers where they do their best to stop any serious damage without fully handling Aether. This results in a lot of the lab workers having very mixed feelings about Aether. He slows production and ruins perfectly good work, but it's also such a weird scenario overall, so it can be hard to get too mad at him without feeling absurd. It does certainly break up the monotony of a work day.
Dottore ultimately does like a good chase, so he will let Aether get farther along with any shenanigans before showing up to dash his hopes.

'Inverse AU where it's Teyvat who's 1/3rd the size of earth. Probably just for crackfics but it would be silly to be able to hold the great Lord Morax in your palm' - @arn9tails
So basically, @arn9tails came up with another banger, and I had to write about it. So please sit back and enjoy.
Warnings: OCness, cringe.
Zhongli
It all started with an earthquake.
It shook all of Liyue Harbour, hell, maybe even the whole nation! No one had no clue what was happening. Some thought it was Rex Lapis's anger from the grave, but Zhongli wasn't angry. He was just as confused as everyone else.
But then it happens. Another earthquake hits, but this one was bigger, and right in the center of Liyue Harbour, in a busy street filled with people... a large, glowing crack forms.
No one was prepared, so everyone in that area fell in... including Zhongli.
And before anyone could react, the crack closes, leaving chaos and panic behind them as demands for the Adepti to be called was heard being screamed...
...Meanwhile, on earth, MC was walking home after a short walk.
She was mostly trying to clear her head, still in disbelief of what had happened to her.
Not even a week ago, she suddenly found herself in possession of a new house (This and this) and large inheritance from a now deceased relative.
MC wasn't even that close to her. Just a distance aunt from somewhere on her mom's side of the family, but apparently, she made a good enough impression for the older woman to leave everything to her.
It was definitely an upgrade from her old apartment, but maybe a bit too big for just one person...
She sighs, picking up the pace as she sees it was starting to get dark... only to come to a stop when she hears a dog snarling down a nearby alley way and something else?
It almost sounded like... screaming?!
Rushing towards the noise, MC skids around the corner to look down the alley way to see a large dog snarling and snapping at something small- wait. Huh?! Were those people?! Small, doll size people?!
Small, doll size people dressed in very familiar clothing. Clothing you recognized being worn by NPCs from Liyue! And at the front was an even more familiar figure!
Armed with his polearm, a clearly weary but angry Zhongli looked ready to protect his people.
Then the dog lunges, and MC lunges as well.
"HEY!" Her yelling thankfully scares off the feral canine, leaving her and the tiny people alone in awkward silence.
Nervously, MC looks down and sees terrified looks being thrown up at her from the misplaced Liyuian citizens, and a tense, suspicious look from Zhongli who was still holding his polearm.
MC was trying to understand how this situation happened. How did these people get here in her world?!
She knew she couldn't leave them here. That one dog nearly got them, and even with Zhongli there, it was clear something was wrong... so with a shaky breath, MC kneels down to speak to them...
...And that's how MC acquired temporary housemates from another world.
The bonding process between MC and the misplaced Liyuians was a slow but trust eventually grows.
With MC's endless patience, and many other reasons, the misplaced citizens of Liyue grew to like her, TRUST her even.
She made beds for them, she feed them food, she kept them inside her large home where it was safe from both the elements and predatory creatures.
She even let the children play with her things. Children that were once afraid and crying were now playing with large, soft plush toys that make toys from Teyvat seem pathetic.
Like it wasn't uncommon to find the kids, or even the adults, sleeping on some of her Squishmallows, especially the bigger ones.
Zhongli, however, was a more difficult case.
He didn't trust MC, not at all, and he made this very apparent.
MC of course was somewhat hurt, as Zhongli was her favorite character in all of Genshin Impact, but she didn't hold it against him.
He had every right not to trust her. She was a stranger after all, and even more, he and some of his people were now stuck in a strange land they had no clue about.
But this distrustfulness does change after while... nothing says that one is more trustworthy when one nearly gets crushed under a heavy dresser to protect a small child without prompting.
In this case, MC nearly gets smushed while trying to stop an old dresser from falling over on a few Liyuian children does the trick.
Bruised, but otherwise fine, MC smiles, waving off any concern for her near-death experience, saying it was worth it since she saved a life.
This only makes everyone fuss over her more. Old Liyuian grannies were giving her smack for not worrying about herself more as she was now someone important to them.
And to her surprise, Zhongli joins in as well... and even apologizes for how rude he's been to her.
MC blinks a few times, confusion clearly on her face as Zhongli walked closer, placing a hand on her larger one, takes a deep breath, and thanks her for everything she's done so far.
He even says it was a blessing that she of all giants (what Zhongli refers to earth humans as) found them and saved them.
MC just blushes, smiling all bashfully, only endearing her more to her guests, especially Zhongli.
After that incident, MC's guests started helping out more, or at least as much as they could with their small forms.
Zhongli definitely took the job as MC's handler or caretaker, making sure she didn't lose herself while working, or reminding her that she needs eat as well when she's feeding them.
Besides that, MC had the pleasure of showing the more curious of the misplaced Teyvatians her movie collection when one child happened upon her movie shelf full of DVDs.
All her otherworldly house guests were in awe. It's like plays, but you can pause it, and it was flat-
Studio Ghibi was definite favorite among the crowd.
MC swears she saw one or two of the tiny scribbling down the plot of several of the movies that were shown. It made her wonder if when they return to Liyue, they'll copied the movies into a book.
But then it got really interesting when you brought out your game systems! Sypro the Dragon, Legend of Zelda, and Pokemon, MC had fun replaying old classics with the hyper fixated audience around her.
But then it hits MC one night after a long session of Okami.
Genshin Impact. She still hasn't told Zhongli or anyone about it yet.
On one hand, MC could keep quiet, as it would no doubt be an awkward conversation and there was a high chance she could lose whatever trust she got from Zhongli recently.
...But trust goes both ways. She didn't want to keep quiet about something so big. Like what if he accidentally finds out and demands why she hid it from him.
MC had to tell him. Tell him about Genshin Impact.
So, when everyone else was asleep, MC slips back into the living room, knowing Zhongli was still up, messing with his Adepti magic as a way to find a way back to Teyvat, and quietly asks to talk to him...
The two of them end up back in MC's room, with she curls up in a corner of her bed, nearly hiding in a pile of her Pokemon and Squishmallow plushies on the bed.
Zhongli sits before her, patiently waiting for her to speak.
And seeing how he was being so patient with her, she takes a deep breath and shakily tells him about a certain game called Genshin Impact...
...In the end, MC was sniffling, shakily apologizing for not saying anything earlier as everyone was so stressed out, but she knew it wasn't right for her not to say anything after he gave her his trust...
MC sniffles, whipping her tears away as she hugged one of her Pikachu plushies, mumbling, "I-I didn't know what to do. I was scared how you'd react. How in my world you, Liyue, and Teyvat were nothing more than part of a game…"
She buries her face into the plush, scared to see his expression. "It's feels so wrong. I k-know things I shouldn't know and I'm sorry, p-please don't be mad-"
"...Gemheart."
MC jerks at the unexpected pet name, timidly peeking over the plush in her arms to look at Zhongli in confusion. What did he just call her? Gemheart? And his tone... it wasn't angry? He... He didn't look mad either...
Yes, the Geo Archon didn't look mad, he seemed more concern with MC's near panic attack than about the earth-shattering news of him and his world being nothing more than a game in this odd world.
The tiny God hops up your mountain of plushies, getting close to MC's face where he uses his hands to carefully wipe away her tears, gently hushing her as he helps her calm down.
Eventually she calms down enough for Zhongli to speak. He was cool, calm, and collected as he asks her certain questions. Like what exactly did she know about him and Teyvat as a whole, did she have knowledge about the abyss, or even Celestia, and even about the Traveler...
In the end, both Zhongli and MC decided it was best not to say anything about Genshin Impact to any one of the misplaced Teyvatians.
It would bring too much stress and questions that Zhongli rather not be asked...
But besides that, MC was just relieved that Zhongli wasn't angry at her, or disgusted, really.
In fact, after settling down after asking his questions, Zhongli asked if she could show him her Genshin account. He was curious about it.
This leads to MC also explaining the Gacha system, which she awkwardly looks away with a blush when he asks her how much money she spent on it.
"...I-I may have whaled a little... b-but you- I mean your game self, refused to come home and I needed your weapon-"
Zhongli does scold MC for her spending money so callously, but also, seeing how strong his game self was, AND with his weapon at that, he couldn't help but feel internally pleased.
He could clearly see who MC's favorite was.
And just like that, the two of them became even closer.
Like now it wasn't uncommon for Zhongli to find himself in MC's room after a tiring night of trying to create a way back to Teyvat.
Letting Mc pick him up off the floor and plopping him down on one of her pillows. MC curls up beside him, laying her head on the pillow besides his, and the two of them easily falls asleep.
Sometimes MC even wakes up with little braids in her hair in the morning, Zhongli humming a soft, Liyuian tune as he completes another braid.
Or sometimes he even tells her tales of his time as Morax. Tales that Hoyo hadn't said anything about yet.
In the privacy of her room, once all the other otherworldly guests are asleep, MC would curl up in bed, holding a pillow to her chest as listens to Zhongli recount tale after tale, easily making her fall asleep to the sound of his voice.
It was nice. It was peaceful. It made MC feel a little less lonely... but all nice things come to an end eventually.
It finally happens. Zhongli manages to connect a way back to Teyvat. Seemingly getting into contact with the other Adepti and creating a portal back to Liyue.
The misplaced Liyuian were of course elated with the news. Crying and cheering with relief. They were going HOME!!!
And MC... she just smiles, hiding the fact that she was sad to them Zhongli go. But she couldn't be selfish. Even if it hurts that she was going to be alone again-
Sitting before the small portal in her living room, MC finally lets some tears fall when everyone starts to say goodbye to her.
The children all rushed to give her hugs, the grannies and mothers ask her not to overwork herself, and so on. MC felt so loved then...
Soon it was just Zhongli and MC left, everyone else having walked through the portal. The Geo Archon stood silent for a moment, before gesturing for her to come closer.
MC confused, listens. she leans further down to his level, and... he hugs her, wrapping his arms as much as he could around her neck.
And this triggers MC to just bawl like a baby then. She didn't want him to go! She didn't want to be alone! She got so used to him and the others in her too big of a house, but she knew she couldn't be selfish-
"Gemheart... I can never thank you enough for everything. For me, and my people... And despite how it all happened, I have no regrets in meeting you, my Gemheart. May that heart of Gold of yours always shine..."
MC sniffles as he pulls away, watching sadly as he walks through the portal. As soon as Zhongli steps through, it flickers, and then disappears completely, leaving MC all alone in her dark living room.
And in the dark, lonely room... MC broke down completely.
She was all alone...
A few weeks pass, and MC still was deep in her misery. Her home felt too big. Too quiet.
She missed having Zhongli's company alone with the other misplaced Liyuians.
It was even to a point where she hadn't touched Genshin Impact since the misplaced tiny people returned to their home dimension.
But just when MC thought things were starting to get better, that her sadness had faded away due to her being busy with daily things...
A massive earthquake shakes her city before stopping not a second a later.... and a news report flashes across her TV.
The report being about 7 large land masses suddenly spawning out of thin air.
And all MC could do was sit down on her couch as her legs gave away. Her eyes wide as she stared at the TV.
Could it be...?
Her thoughts drift back to Zhongli, back to late night conversations where he talked about how he and his people arrived in her world.
Something had happened to the lay lines.
So... What's to say it wouldn't get worse and transports all seven nations of Teyvat to MC's world?
In the coming days since this shocking event, MC was anxiously going about her life, trying not to think about how Teyvat had come to life.
Tried not to think about gold eyes and mysterious smiles... Tried not think about Zhongli.
At one point she did consider seeing if it was possible for her to travel to Liyue, but threw that away as she hears how the government was tightening down the borders.
Traveling of any kind out of the country was prohibited at the moment due to the seriousness of the events.
So, there goes that idea... and besides, what was she even thinking. Why would Zhongli even want to see her again, anyhow...
And just like that, she was back to being sad again...
But then, one late night a few days later, MC hears someone knocking at her door.
She paused the movie she was watching, glancing towards her front door with a confused expression.
Who on earth would be knocking at her door this late?
Carefully, she pads over, peeking through the peep hole, and nearly has a heart attack.
Someone was standing at her doorstep, dressed in a dark cloak. Was this some sort of cultist or someone worse?!
She goes to yell for them to leave or she'd call the police when she notices something.
Under the glow of her door light, she sees a bouquet of flowers in the person's hands.
It was a bouquet of Glaze Lilies. Flowers you could only get in Liyue, and-
MC rips open the door then. "Z-Zhongli?"
The hood falls back, and MC is staring into the face of a normal size and very real Zhongli.
He smiles, holding out the Glaze Lilies for her.
"Gemheart... may I come in?"

"Gemheart... may I come in?"

silly thoughts at 4am lets go
just a lil' bit of unfinished and silly scaralumi
Lumine sat atop one of the many cliff edges contained within Sumeru's borders, arm resting upon one of her own knees and propping up her head, as she stared out into the evening sky.
'Take some time out and enjoy the peace.'
Those were her intentions after a hectic few weeks of saving Sumeru and reluctantly helping a former enemy move on from his past and down a better path.
Not to mention the baffling new leads she had on her brother…
She sighed.
The grass rustles, and the young woman quickly reacts, trying to find its source. All her eyes can catch is a flash of royal blue, before her senses are muffled and everything cuts to black.
…
… …
"...Heavens, you… too easy… "
The voice assaults her ears, promptly forcing Lumine's senses to refocus. Though, it seemed like that was more than enough to make the stranger call out again, more forcefully this time, "Idiot! Wake up!" Her eyes finally shot open, and all she can process is a sea of blues and dark greys at first.
"Quit wasting time. Look higher."
Something presses underneath her chin, forcing her to gaze upwards, meeting the expectant eyes of the Wanderer. Who most definitely bore one of his signature cheeky grins now, as he saw Lumine reel back, hitting her back against a wall of slightly curled fingers. It only grew larger as he watched her realise just where she was.
Heavens above, what had he done to her?! She fit so neatly inside of his palm--
"Good, good~ This is much too amusing." Her former enemy raises his hand higher, eagerly wanting to soak up all of her expressions, "I can still hear your thoughts you know. Lets just say I wanted to test out some of my new powers… I'm still recovering, unfortunately, but I thought it would be fun to test them out on my new, ever so tiny ally."
A hearty chuckle escapes the Wanderer, as he catches the tiny figure in his palms huffing loudly, crossing her arms in the process.
My, my… How dare she look so cute.
Making him want to steal her away, whilst looking so pathetic…
He gently presses a finger from his spare hand against her cheek, enjoying how her face scrunched in discontent, her own arms feebly attempting to swat his larger finger away.
A part of him was almost disappointed she didn't react with as much fear as he had hoped. Though, perhaps that was his fault just this once.
Letting his guard down and allowing his true intentions to become too visible…
The puppet would never admit it to anyone and struggled to even admit it to himself, but maybe he really didn't want to ruin the fragile relationship that he, Nahida and the Traveller had mutually agreed on.
He hums, softly.
The Traveller hears, and looks up in confusion, before squirming defiantly as his fingers coil around her and lift her small form even higher. Using his spare hand to tilt his hat slightly, he then deposits the tiny Traveller within the gap and gives her no time to even consider formulating a plan of escape, promptly closing off her only exit and containing her within the small gap on top of his head.
No doubt, he can feel her beginning an assault on his head.
Hmm…
He had curiously placed his own hand-crafted doll within there a few days ago, emulating the feeling of a tiny companion to accompany him during his wandering… Having a living individual take its place only made this 'selfish' desire more intense.
"Simmer down already and quit wasting your energy." He hesitates for a few moments, before continuing, "You already know I have no intention of hurting you. Relax."
Not too surprisingly, Lumine listens. Her punches and kicks had already started to dull down not long after she had started.
"Good. Now why don't you rest for a while? You've not been doing a good job at hiding how worked-up you've been the past few days."
Nothing happens at first, but after a short while, Lumine slowly shows signs of complying, settling down in his soft, artificial mop of hair.
Even the Wanderer is shocked that she had listened to that. After all, he had made up the silly idea on the spot in an attempt to get her to settle, so he could indulge in his silly fantasies.
Was the poor mortal really that tired?
"...Just don't get too comfy, stupid."

you got some scaralumi now have some silly scaraether from yours truly
———
"Don't you dare touch me, you—!" A voice hisses from high above, almost booming with the same intensity as a strike of lightning. It cuts off rather hastily, once its owner realised bad habits were settling back in, but much to his mounting frustration, healing was not something that could simply occur overnight.
A giant hand withdraws, and so does the offender after such an outburst.
"I… I apologise. I should've asked."
"No shit!" The giant figure seems to curl in on itself slightly after expressing its own distress.
…
"Are you… Are you okay?" Aether's voice rang out, uncertainty clinging to it as clear as day. It was worth a shot, but he also knew how rocky their relationship was, given the circumstances.
A cacophony of laughter escapes the giant puppet, almost on cue.
"Am I okay? You sound more ridiculous each passing day. Why don't you mind your own business, Traveller? You have bigger fish to fry."
"Not right now." Aether hesitates for a moment, before closing the gap between them both once more, earning the intense gaze of his former enemy. "Can you give me your hand?"
"Go away. I don't need your pity." He spat.
"Please?"
Accompanied by a loud huff, a massive hand drops down and is offered to the smaller boy, not nearly having the energy to deal with Aether's annoying levels of sheer persistence— Perhaps the Wanderer was even curious towards Aether's intentions, however there was no way he would admit that, not even to himself.
Aether wasted no time climbing on, already grabbing onto his huge digits and proceeded to pull them around himself like a living, wooden blanket, earning the most incredulous look from his victim.
"You. Are. Insane."
"Am I? I thought I was giving you what you wanted."
The fingers suddenly clasp his tiny form with a worrying amount of pressure, causing Aether to choke a little, before scrambling to regain his composure. Honestly, he couldn't help but follow up with a chuckle and grin, knowing he'd hit the right nerve.
"When will you learn to keep your little mouth shut."
"When you admit to being touch-starved."
Aether is almost immediately yanked up and presented before the puppet's steely gaze, just barely holding onto his silly grin.
"I could kill you right here and now."
"And yet you haven't already. Please, stop fighting yourself." Two thumbs then make their assault on either sides of the captive boy’s face, squishing his cheeks in an attempt to make him look pathetic. Unfortunately, the Wanderer would never receive the distress he fooled himself into wanting from Aether— In fact, he dared to even think the smaller, golden individual was actually content with such handling, so long as he got what he wanted in the end.
Just what the hell was going through this idiot's head?! As if answering his thoughts, Aether’s voice broke through the rough handling, earning a moments respite. “I know you have trouble trusting people. So, I thought I could spend some time with you— Maybe help you with trusting me.” Aether thinks he spots the Wanderer’s gaze softening ever so slightly. “You don’t need to exert so much control over everything else now. You’re safe. We aren’t going to hurt you.” The Doctor wasn’t there to manipulate him into such heinous and agonising experiments anymore. The Doctor would never come back for him… The Doctor had forgotten the Sixth had even existed. …
Silently, the Wanderer relented, slowly allowing his weary shoulders to droop and more of his weight to be supported by the tree he was still resting against. The pressure around Aether diminished as a result, hand now propped on a giant, unbreathing chest that lacked a human heartbeat. It was still coiled around him, Aether noted. Not tightly, but enough to seem unwilling to let go. Daring to act on impulse, Aether starts caressing one of the wooden fingers curling around him, a soft smile inevitably adorning his features when they pulled a little tighter, perhaps fearing the smaller individual would leave him like everyone else. But no, Aether was still there, convincingly content with putting himself in the hands of a former enemy— More than happy to offer himself as a form of comfort.
“If you ever dare betray me… I will end you without another thought.”
“I know. Which is why you don’t have to worry.”

What say you to a Chubby!MC?
Once again, this idea spawned during a chat with @arn9tails about exposing what chubby actually looks like to Genshin, and I thought, you know what? Screw it, let's do this.
Also, once again using @arn9tails lovely size difference Genshin au. Also using my bias, Zhongli once again. I love this old dragon man so much. ❤️
Warnings: OCness, cringe, some fat shaming and slurs. Zhongli being a little horny for Chubby!MC. A little Dark!Zhongli. Yandere!Zhongli?
Zhongli
Like many others who were avid gamers, Chubby!MC knew of Genshin Impact. How could she not? It was her comfort game.
From dealing with snide comments about her weight from both family and coworkers alike. To failing to find a boyfriend who tolerated her larger form, much less love her for herself.
Fat. Lardass. Whale. Pig. "Why can't you just lose weight like a normal woman?" or "What? Hungry again, piggy?", And so many cruel words flow through her head
At the very least, she had Genshin Impact. She could always fall back on this game and its characters to bring up her mood after a long day.
One certain character ALWAYS brought up her mood, no matter what.
Zhongli. The retired Geo Archon. Geo daddy, as many of his simps calls him. Chubby!MC, like many other Zhongli simps, adored this man.
She thought he was handsome, wise, strong, mysterious, and all around, a down-to-earth man.
He was her dream man... But alas, he was nothing but that. A dream. Something NOT real.
Besides, even IF he was real, why would he ever pay attention to someone of Chubby!MC's size? If anything, someone like Ningguang had better chance with a gorgeous body like hers...
Chubby!MC's mood goes down the drain then and she shuts off her computer, making a mental thought about going to the gym... again.
Maybe this time she wouldn't be scared off by the giggles or whispered insults from other gym goers...
But then something more important than going to the gym to lose weight happens.
7 very large land masses appeared all around the world. 7 very large and familiar land masses at that.
Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, Sumeru, Fontaine, Natlan, and Snezhnaya. The 7 nations of Teyvat. Of Genshin Impact. They... They were real!
...And also apparently very, VERY big! From reports, the people- the Teyvatians as Genshin players had been calling them, were massive compared to an Earthling human!
Truthfully Chubby!MC didn't know how to react to the news. Genshin Impact was real now? The characters that brought her comfort were real. Zhongli... he was real?
That last thought made her heart skip a beat. Oh... He was real.
But that excitement fades as the reality hits that it didn't matter if he was real. He was still out of her reach, no matter what.
...Or at least that's what she originally thought.
Cut to a few months later, and news about a event in Chubby!MC's city was circling about.
Apparently it was a raffle, and winners could have the honor of going a grand party that would have the Archon's themselves attending.
And as for why they were even in Chubby!MC's nation, it was because of a political meeting between a large group of Earthling political powers
The party is supposed to be something of a moral boost thing. To bring the two races, the Teyvatians and Earthlings, closer together.
Chubby!MC honestly considered entering, but thought against it. She wouldn't be able to handle finding out she lost.
Soon enough, she hears there's only one invitation left. And she thinks, that's that. She lost her chance due to her second guessing herself.
However...
Chubby!MC sits in one of her workplace bathroom stalls, her hands shakily held a piece of paper as she stared down at it in shock.
The words said it all. Winner.
Rewinding to a bit earlier today, Chubby!MC was doing some work when an envelope was tossed on her desk and some obnoxious giggles come from the cubicles near her.
For context, some of the girls from her job won a spot at the party, and they were trying to rub it in her face by throwing what they thought was a dud raffle ticket at her.
Key word. Thought. Because the words on the paper clearly said Winner. Chubby!MC could go to the party!
She could see and maybe, just maybe, even meet Zhongli...
Cut to the day of the party, and Chubby!MC finds herself within a large sports stadium along with the other party goers.
Apparently it was being held here because of the Teyvatians, which makes sense considering their size.
"....Ugh, gross. Look at her..."
"Yeah. Who let a whale in here?"
"And in a dress like that?"
Chubby!MC flinches at the snide comments whispered behind her as she found herself alone on the field as the other Earthling party goers paired up with one another. More than one of them were throwing her rude looks or sneers.
Biting her lip, Chubby!MC glances down at her dress. It was rather modest in her eyes. A simple yellow (Geo yellow) dress that she thought was pretty and the kind store clerk that helped her picked it out said it show off her- not chubby, but curvy body nicely.
But of course, people had to be cruel...
She barely holds down the urge to sniffle as she slowly takes a sip of wine, noticing the people leering at her had suddenly gone pale and scurried away.
Of course, she does notice once a large shadow covers her form.
Blinking, she slowly glances up, and squeaks when she sees the familiar impish grin of the Ameno Archon, Venti.
"Well, well, well. What have we here? A lone Crystalfly among some noisy flies? And a yellow one at that..."
He squints at Chubby!MC, and his smile grows more playful as he lowers his hand to her, urging her to climb on.
"Why don't you come with me? I know someone who'd be very interest in meeting you, little Geo Crystalfly."
Chubby!MC barely has time to even breath before the Ameno Archon gently scoops her up and begins walking towards the other Archons who were just arriving as well.
"Hey, Blockhead! Look at what I found~"
Zhongli, who was talking to Ei, turned to Venti, and Chubby!MC's feels her heart skipped a beat as those intense but mysterious yellow golden eyes zeroed in on her.
He was just as inhumanely handsome as she imagined him being in real life...
Venti comes to a stop before the now still Geo Archon, the man still staring down at Chubby!MC. In an almost animal like fashion, he tilts his head slowly, and for a sec Chubby!MC thinks she saw draconic slits in his eyes before they disappeared.
"...And who is this, Barbatos?"
Venti does his signature 'eheh' before awkwardly saying he never got Chubby!MC's name.
"But isn't she pretty? A pretty little Geo Crystalfly!
Chubby!MC was pretty sure her round cheeks were glowing red from how embarrassed she was. She wasn't pretty! Ei is pretty! Mauvika is pretty! They were skinny and she wasn't-
"...Hm, I never thought I would agree with you on something like this, but yes, she is very pretty."
Zhongli's voice cuts Chubby!MC's negative thoughts, causing her to whip her head towards the Geo Archon in confusion. And her soul nearly leaves her body as he sees him smile at her.
Oh God this man-
And that's how Chubby!MC found herself suddenly surrounded by all seven Archon not even a few minutes later.
It was a surreal experience. Meeting characters she only knew from through her computer screen.
But meeting and having the chance to talk to them all, a magical experience.
But what beat all of that was the fact she was now being held by Zhongli after she was confiscated from the bard's hold.
His fingers were wrapped loosely around her plump form as he held her, gently squeezing.
The soft pudge of her smaller form squishing between his fingers, making her embarrassment spike along with something else...
Chubby!MC shivers, recalling how dangerous the fingers that were holding her so gently could be.
They were fingers of a being that was over 6000 years old. Fingers that held and built weapons, hurled spears at gods, shattered mountains, and built a whole nation.
And yet... They held her with such gentleness...
She tries to focus on the conversation between the Archons, ignoring the gawking Earthlings on the ground and the sounds of pictures being taken.
She could already see tomorrow's headlines. 'Overweight woman held by a real God' or something along the line...
Now a little afraid that her... her disgusting, fat presence could cause some backlash on the Archons, she quietly asks to be put down as she fights the urge to cry....
Zhongli refused to put her down, however.
Zhongli's fingers flex around her plump form, making her squeak at the unexpected gesture, and one large finger gently hooks under her chin, forcing Chubby!MC to look up at the Geo Archon.
Zhongli: "Why? Is something wrong, little Crystalfly?"
Ah, there he goes using that nickname Venti gave her! Why were they calling her that?! She wasn't pretty or dainty like a Crystalfly!
But after some more probing, this time some of the other Archons asking as well, Chubby!MC's fingers dig into her dress anxiously as she quietly tells the truth...
Telling that her 'fat' presence might cause issues, about the pictures being taken and the gossip.
Chubby!MC: "W-what was I thinking, coming to this event with a body like mine-"
She's cut off by Zhongli's large, gloved thumb covering her mouth, his face stern as he glanced over at the ever-curious Earthlings, most of which had begun to foolishly lose their fear.
And she caught some of their words... And tears immediately build up in her eyes.
"Wow, look at her. She looks like a fucking beach ball in his hands."
"Think she'd bounce if he tossed her?"
"Nah, fat bitch like her would definitely pop like a balloon!"
Oh, she was definitely crying now...
She also doesn't notice how Zhongli and the other Archons had stiffened at the cruel words thrown at her so callously.
Whimpering, Chubby!MC squirms more, pleading to be put down so she could run away from this mess.
But again. Zhongli would NOT put her down. Instead, to her horror, he turns and walks over to where those cruel words came from, his footsteps shaking the earth more than before.
Chubby!MC quietly mutters his name in confusion, but the massive God ignores her as his expression darkens.
The once snickering group of Earthlings immediately goes silent as Zhongli's silent form leers over them, expression still dark, and quite frankly, terrifying.
Zhongli: "...Apologize to her. Now."
Chubby!MC of course tries to defuse the situation by saying it was fine; she was more than used to comments like that.
That, as it would turn out, would be the wrong thing to say.
In front of all the earthlings in stadium, and even on national television itself, Zhongli declares to her he was going to take her back to Liyue.
...Was she seriously about to be kidnapped by her favorite character?
And the answer was yes, yes, she was as Chubby!MC finds herself being carried off by Zhongli, who goes to join the other Archons, and they leave for the set-up wave point nearby.
But she couldn't just let herself be taken! She had a life, a job-
Her panicked thoughts are cut off when Zhongli presses her closer to his chest, smushing her chubby cheek against his suit jacket.
He murmurs quiet promises of her being safe in Liyue. That she would never hear such disgusting things said about her body ever again. She would be treated well and with respect she deserved.
Zhongli: "From now on, you will be under my care, little Crystalfly."
And that... sounded awfully like a threat. A threat Chubby!MC should clearly be afraid of if she had any braincells...
However... was it selfish of her to want to be taken care of? To have someone not mock her for weight or force on diets that never work.
Was it selfish that she wanted genuine affection? Love?
And honestly... did she even have anything worth staying around here for?
Chubby!MC's job was awful. Her coworkers and boss even more so. Her family only probes her about losing weight and being pretty like her sisters so she could get married, and her love life was nonexistent.
So... Was anything truly her holding back from being taken to Liyue?
Realizing this, Chubby!MC stops struggling. She goes quiet as the Archons walked up to the wave point where, one by one, each Archon teleported back to their respected nations.
Venti was the last to go before them, and he cheekily asks for Chubby!MC to come and visit his nation once she settles in, even saying he'd loved to share some dandelion wine with her, before teleporting off with a laugh as Zhongli growls at him.
Chubby!MC hears Zhongli take a deep breath, calming himself before he too activates the wave point, and smiles down at her.
Zhongli: "Come along now, little Crystalfly. Liyue awaits us."
Zhongli's POV
Zhongli hadn't expected much from this 'party' the earthlings scrounged up. Especially since they made it a bigger fiasco than need be.
The other Archons agreed with him. So, together they agreed to go to the party.... But leave immediately afterwards and return to their nations after a couple of minutes.
Well, that was the plan. At least, until he hears Barbatos call out to him. "Hey Blockhead! Look at what I found~"
And in the bard's hands was probably the most endearing looking Earthling he's ever seen, looking up at him with wide, pretty eyes.
Her body was built differently than other Earthling women he's met so far, and that even included other Teyvatian women.
He was so used to slim built females, he never really considered ones with more meat on their bones... and honestly, it was lovely sight to behold.
A body that reminded him of a plump, juicy Sunsettia fruit. Thick in all the right places, and no doubt very, very soft and squishy.
And to wrap it all up in a pretty bow was the fact she was wearing HIS colors. A bright Geo Yellow dress...
So, it came to no surprise that he confiscated the soft earthling from the now smug looking Ameno Archon.
Zhongli honestly wanted to growl and swat that look off that face, but he had an image to hold up, so-
Oh... And it turns out the soft looking Earthling really was as soft and squishy as she looked.
He could barely hold down the urge to purr as carefully held the fragile being in his hands. She really was all pillowy softness in all the right places.
Truly a treasure he had been gifted with. Hm... he makes a mental note to remember to send some fresh Liyue wine to Barbatos for finding such a darling creature...
Because of this unexpected situation, Zhongli decided to stay longer at the party, if only to hold and be close to soft little Earthling in his hands...
To his displeasure, however, the other Archons seems to follow his lead, finding the soft, chubby earthling to be precious, and gently probe her with questions, flustering the poor dear.
And the urge to swat at Venti grows even stronger-
But then his attention is drawn back to his little Crystalfly. She was squirming in his hands, gently tapping his fingers to get his attention.
But truthfully, his eyes were glued in on her thick but soft looking thighs that flashes into view as the Earthling's dress hikes up unintentionally in her squirming.
His mouth suddenly feels dry and his fingers flex unintentionally, causing the plump Earthling to let out an adorable squeak.
Feeling her flesh, soft and full, spill over his fingers...
...He wondered how it would feel to have her sit on his fac-
A boney elbow quickly jams into his side. The culprit? Venti. The Ameno Archon hisses for him to "get his mind out of the gutter". A strange Earthling term but message received.
So, he politely asks what's wrong... and his opinion of Earthlings (baring, of course, Chubby!MC.) somehow, if possible, went even further down.
His little Crystalfly was ashamed of her weight, when in honesty, she should be praised for it.
Yet, from her words and body language alone, it was clear other Earthlings didn't share his view on beauty.
This made more apparent when Zhongli hears the quiet whispers and sneers of other Earthlings around him. All of whom was insulting his now crying Crystalfly.
All because of her weight.
And despite wanting to smite the disgusting Earthlings dust, his little Crystalfly showed kindness towards her harassers. Saying it was fine when it was obviously wasn't. And... And that she was used to it.
Used. To. It? She was used to this nonsense?!
No. No, this would not continue. If the Earthlings couldn't see this precious little thing's beauty... then he'll just take her back to Liyue with him.
And if the Earthlings decide to make a ruckus about it? Well... One does not poke a dragon or God and walk away in one piece...

They were skinny and she wasn't-
"...Hm, I never thought I would agree with you on something this, but yes, she is very pretty."
A body that reminded him of a plump, juicy Sunsettia fruit, thick in all the right places, and no doubt very, very soft and squishy.
And to wrap it all up in a pretty bow was the fact she was wearing HIS colors, a bright Geo Yellow dress...

Omg I just read the Diluc fic and I'm 🥹🥹🥹🥹
You mentioned requests, so may I request a borrower being discovered by Albedo, Kaveh, or Al-Haitham?
Anon you have come bearing me a wonderful gift cause I love all three of them so why not all three?
(forgive me though, anon, this will be my first time writing Albedo, but I'm going to give it my best shot)
Notes: No use of Y/N, Gender Neutral Reader,
♦ Albedo ♦
"You can come out, you know," the alchemist's soft voice called to you from the other side of the pile of books you were hiding behind. "You just wanted to look at these drawings, correct? I don't mind."
You stayed in place, rooted to the spot, cursing yourself for being caught. Silence filled the air as your mind raced for options, Albedo hadn't ever shown signs of being a risk to you but, you'd rather not take the risk all the same.
Your pondering was interrupted by the scratching of a pencil on paper. The same curiosity that got you into this mess in the first place spurred you on to peek out from behind the books. You looked up to see the alchemist back to sketching away, seemingly indifferent to your presence. A shred of courage welled up in your heart alongside the curiosity, and you began to scale the books to get a better view.
From your perch, you could see the landscape sketch that Albedo had started on and was now refining. Glancing up from the drawing to him once more to gauge his behavior before cautiously sitting down. His eyes glanced up at you quickly, a gentle smile flashing across his face, but as soon as you two had made eye contact, he had returned to his drawing.
You simply sat down and watched him work, the two of you settling into a comfortable silence.
Time passed quicker than you imagined, and before long, the drawing had unfolded into a vast landscape of the nearby region, one filled with ice and snow.
"Well then," Albedo's voice called gently as he set his pencil down and stretched out his back. His attention had turned back to you, and his blue eyes curiously searched over you, making you feel vulnerable but not quite uncomfortable. Slowly, he held out his hand to you, making no sudden or drastic movements. "I'm Albedo. It's a pleasure to finally meet you."
The hand was gently placed in front of you in greeting, an offer for a handshake. You slowly placed your hand on one of his digits before replying.
"It's nice to meet you too..."
♦ Kaveh ♦
"Come out...come onnnn," Kaveh grumbled, trying to shove his arm farther beneath the couch. You were backed between a rock and a hard place, infuriatingly literally. Your back pressed up against the wall and your only path out was forward and currently blocked by a grasping hand that kept brushing against the front of your shirt.
You weren't given any more time to agonize over your situation as you heard a curse from the human on the other side of the couch, who shoved their side out and lunged forward, his fingers wrapping nearly too tightly around your waist and pulling you out from your hiding spot.
With a yelp, you were pulled forward with aggressive speed while the human let out a triumphant noise, seemingly joyful at your capture.
And as fast as the world moved around you it stopped, you didn't dare open your eyes hoping against hope this would end well.
"Oh wow..." Kaveh breathed in awe. "Look at you..."
You dared to open an eye. Two soft red eyes glittering with wonder and excitement looked down at you in his hand. The awe was mutual. You'd never been this close to a human before, and aside from your rough discovery, he held you in such a soft grasp that you couldn't help but feel safe in his hands, as baffling as that felt to you in the moment.
"H-hi..." You managed to get out.
"Amazing..." Kaveh breathed, rubbing your cheek with his thumb softly. His dazzling eyes couldn't tear themselves away from you, and you realized you may be in for a whirlwind of questions.
♦ Alhaitham ♦ "Care to explain why you've been stealing from my office over the past few months?" The scribe leaned back in his chair, arms folded, his piercing gaze locking you in place where you sat, mortified under the glass he had trapped you under. "You haven't taken anything of high value, but consistently take from me and me alone."
Spite welled up in your chest at the questioning, and you folded your arms over your chest and turned your back to the human, you'd already been caught in an incredibly undignifying manner, being trapped between his hand and then gracelessly trapped beneath a glass like it wasn't a challenge at all. Then he had the nerve to start questioning you. Valid questions, but you weren't in the mood for it.
You heard a sigh from behind you before the shadow of a hand loomed overhead, moving quickly enough that you once again couldn't react in time.
From the glass to the palm of Alhaitham's hand, you went undignified, cursing, leaving your mouth as the hand passed you from one to another before arriving in front of his face. The hand around you wasn't rough, but tight enough around you that your chances of escape were abysmal at best.
"Oh? So you can talk," Alhaitham mused. "You're simply choosing to ignore my questions then."
You muttered the answer to his question begrudgingly.
"What was that?"
"...survival." You muttered again, looking up at the scribe you were at the mercy of at the moment. Something in his face softened nearly imperceptibly as he continued to analyze you. The moments felt agonizing, wishing you could hide or escape the unrelenting gaze, when suddenly you felt yourself moving back toward the desk.
"Alright," Alhaitham sighed, placing you softly on the desk. "Let's...try this again. More amicably this time."
(thank you for the ask anon this was fun to write even though it too me a bit to get done ;w;)

me when a fic about my desired platonic pairing doesn't materialize all by itself
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Aether tactfully navigated through the Fatui fort, sneaking from room to room. He knew it had to be in here somewhere.
When interrogating a few locals, Aether had learned of a potion said to be brewed in the lab within this fort. Supposedly, it would let the drinker see through someone else's eyes. A potion like that could be a huge lead in helping him find his sister.
The place was a lot more guarded than he had planned. It was crawling with Fatui agents. There was no way he could fight them all, so he decided to stick to sneaking around. However, the closer he got to the lab, the fewer guards were present. It was odd, he thought it would be the other way around. Well, Aether was not going to look a gift horse in the mouth on this mission. He continued down the tiled hallway until he reached an ornate set of double doors. They were locked, of course, but that wouldn't stop him. Childe had given Aether a quick lesson on lock picking after one of their sparring matches. 'The trick is a combination of patience and urgency', Childe's words echoed in Aether's mind as he goaded a series of clicks out of the lock.
'got it'
Aether swiftly slid through the doors and closed them behind him. He would need to do this as quickly and quietly as possible now that he was so close to achieving his goal. He made quick work of looking through the various beakers and bottles. Or, more accurately, attempted to. Oddly enough, none of the bottles were labeled. They were organized by color, save for the ones scattered around on the counters. Aether scanned around the laboratory.
'How am I supposed to know which one to take?'
Aether's thoughts raced for a moment before swiftly remembering the statement he took from a villager previously. According to the statement, this potion was one of a kind with a pale blue hue. He had no idea how the villager would know those kinds of details, but he would have to trust them on this one if he wanted to get any progress done. Aether made note of any uniquely looking potions that would match the description. As much as he wanted to just move and sort them, the goal was to leave no trace that he had been here.
Just as Aether had narrowed down the options to two different potions, he heard footsteps approaching. They seemed to be a bit more swift than those of the regular Fatui agents, which was not a good sign. Torn between the two options, Aether settled on the one with a slightly paler hue and ducked into a cabinet under one of the counters. He thanked whatever higher power that the space was just empty enough for him to fit inside.
The doors were violently shoved open and subsequently slammed shut. Whoever had entered was clearly in a rather sour mood.
"Incompetent fools", the figure muttered.
Aether's heart plummeted. He recognized that voice. It was Il Dottore. This was bad. Aether held his free hand over his mouth and willed his heart to stop beating so loud. Although his interactions with the harbinger had been brief, they had made an impression. Aether hated the way Dottore looked at him. He could never see his eyes, but he could feel the analytical gaze permeating through the harbingers mask. The thought of it made Aether's skin crawl.
From what Aether could hear, Dottore was now on the opposite side of the room as him. The space was greatly appreciated. 'Maybe I can just wait it out until he leaves?' That wasn't likely. He had heard that Dottore typically spent hours holed up in his lab. Aether was not sure how likely it would be that Dottore wouldn't look in the cabinet he was hiding in.
Aether had to make a decision. It was unlikely that he'd get a chance like this again. If he was found, it would be difficult to escape, with the potion or without. If he took it now, he could get all the information he needed and use the rest of the time he was stuck here to come up with a plan of action. 'It would be better than just sitting here and doing nothing', Aether decisively unscrewed the bottle cap and drank the contents. The taste was bubbly and metallic, it made his head feel fuzzy. It took all of his focus and strength to stay in the position he was in, as to not make noise and alert the room's other occupant to his presence.
Aether noticed his vision blurr, 'yes', he shifted his focus to the thought of his sister, preparing to view her location. This sensation never came. Instead, Aether's body became warmer, he felt like he was running the worst fever of his life. Luckily, this discomfort disappeared as soon as it had arrived. Unfortunately, when Aether opened his eyes again, the space he had been cramped in was now very open. He turned to his side to see a beaker that was now taller than he was. Aether's confusion quickly turned to dread, 'no no no nono'. This could not be happening.
Aether continued to frantically observe his surroundings for some kind of solution. 'How could I be so stupid, not drinking mysterious substances is basically rule number one', Aether began to pace back and forth, 'How was he supposed to reverse this? There had to be something in the lab that could help, but Dottore was still in the room. He might be able to help, but he would never actually help me with anything, let alone a newfound vulnerability'.
Aether's thoughts were cut short by the sound of Dottore moving to a counter closer to Aether's hiding spot. Everything seemed so much louder now. He couldn't just stay here like a sitting duck, Aether needed to move. That would at least be easier now that he was less noticeable. Aether rolled his eyes at the thought. He slipped out of the cabinet and stepped out into the lab, which felt a lot colder now. For once, he regretted his exposed torso. Arms wrapped around himself, Aether tiptoed out from the safety the cabinet had granted. Dottore was working at the desk in front of the cabinet Aether was in, so he had some sort of cover with the cabinet between them.
The confidence Aether had built up quickly vanished as he just – looked – at Dottore. He was just so…huge. Dottore had always had a large presence, but this was terrifying. 'Well, as long as I stay out of sight, this won't be a problem', Aether attempted to calm himself.
Aether swiftly made his way to the counter to the side of his hiding place. It was surprisingly easy as Dottore was very focused on whatever "work" he was doing. Aether made his way from counter to counter, searching for a solution. Granted, his progress was a bit stunted due to his limited view from the floor. Engrossed in his search, Aether became a bit less aware of his surroundings. As he turned a corner, a large spider leapt into his field of vision. Aether couldn't stifle the shocked yelp that tore through his throat. He prepared his sword to strike as he stumbled backward. The spider advanced as Aether retreated further. He had fought monsters much larger, but wasn't sure what to prepare for. It was better to get more of an observation before attacking. Aether took a few more steps back before bumping into the table and–wait, the table was to his side, which means–
Aether stilled. He didn't want to see what – or more accurately who– was behind him. A boot violently slammed down onto the spider.
"I try to keep my work place as prestigious as possible, but occasionally a few pests always manage to slip in", Aether could feel Dottore's eyes on him, "but you'd know all about that wouldn't you?"
Dottore's tone lilted in a playful manner despite the clear malice behind his words. He reached to grab Aether, but the traveler rolled out of the way. The doctor made an annoyed 'tsk' before reaching for Aether again, faster this time. Aether failed to dodge and instead attempted to stab at the fingers grabbing him before his sword was torn from his grip and set on a counter firmly out of his reach. Aether continued to panic and squirm as he was lifted further into the air so that he was at about eye level with the doctor.
Dottore rolled Aether around between his fingers and looked him over. His grip was light enough to not damage Aether, but firm enough to cause discomfort whenever he made contact.
"Now, what do we have here"
Aether could hear the smile in the doctor's voice without looking.
"P-put me down", Aether tried to make his voice come out as even as possible. Dottore just stared at the traveler, making no move to set him down. Aether continued, "Now"
Dottore paused, face unreadable, before bursting out into a cackle. He was laughing at him. In that moment, Aether's anger overtook his fear of the situation.
"Is there something funny that I'm missing here?"
The doctor stifled his laughs as they began to die down.
"Oh, still the same overly confident, tough little traveler, aren't you?", Dottore condescendingly poked Aether's check with his finger. Aether attempted to shove the digit, but the doctor wouldn't even indulge him by pretending he had been able to muster enough strength to move him away.
Dottore eventually placed Aether down on one of the counters before caging him in with his arms. It's not as if Aether would have attempted to jump off the counter anyway, but he's still annoyed by the presence around him.
"Now, what to do with you? A vivisection is always a pleasant option, but it would be done so soon. On the other hand–"
Aether tuned out Dottore's speech. Maybe falling to death from a counter wouldn't be so bad after all. Aether knew he was just saying all of this to scare him, but knowing that didn't stop it from working. He was sure that whatever experiment Dottore would decide on would be much worse than just a dissection.
"I have an idea", as Aether began to interject, the doctor's focus shifted entirely back to him, "Have you ever reversed the effects of this potion? Because that could lead to maybe a big scientific discovery..thing."
Aether didn't exactly expect his vague statement to work, but he had to try something. Surprisingly, the doctor responded.
"Well, I don't have anything already made, so I would need a small sample of the potion. It would likely be very simple, but of course, that would be if I wanted to reverse it."
"Come on, you can't just–"
"And that would be the funny part. It's that I didn't even do anything. You broke into my lab, drank my potion, and then practically waltzed into my hands. It's almost like you wanted this to happen. Honestly, not drinking unknown substances is practically the first rule to being a person, yet you still managed to mess that up", Aether didn't like the direction this conversation was taking, "If you are really that incompetent, it would be irresponsible of me to let you go."
"Look, I didn't–well I – it was an accident", Aether quickly stammered in an attempt to regain control of the conversation.
Dottore picked Aether up by the back of his shirt, lifting him into the air as he curiously tilted his head.
"Oh, of course, I'm sure you accidentally downed an entire bottle of liquid, but until you become a bit less accident prone, I'm afraid I'll just have to keep you."
Aether began to panic, "You can't–"
"But I can. I feel that you are misunderstanding the situation."
"People will come looking for me, you know."
"And, who exactly did you tell you were coming here?"
Aether opened his mouth to respond, then closed it once again. He hadn't told anyone. They would've thought it was a bad idea, which he could see in hindsight. He just thought he had a chance to get his sister back. Aether hung his head.
"Hm, predictable. Well, it'll be nice to have a new lab rat that can't scurry off."
Dottore set him back onto the counter and began to pet Aether's head with his finger. It made Aether feel sick. 'No no he can't keep me here I can't stay here I need to find her–', Aether's thoughts raced as he felt a growing sting in his eyes and throat. 'Don't cry right now please don't, not in front of him'. The burning only increased as his vision started to blur. He wanted to look up in order to discourage the tears, but that would mean looking directly at the doctor. All Aether could do was look down and hope his sorry state would go unnoticed.
~
Dottore paused for an instant, noticing the moisture running down the boy's face. It was a pathetic sight, really. He might have felt a twinge of pity if he weren't currently relishing in this moment. The famed Traveler, who opposed the Tsrista, bested Childe and the Balladeer, as well as fighting ancient powers, was currently crying under his hand. Dottore could barely stop himself from laughing once again as it would end the moment too soon. He knew that this was likely a temporary show of weakness. The boy would probably deny it had even happened later on. The doctor wanted to make sure he was able to take this moment in completely. He reached under the traveler's chin and began to lift. Aether shoved off of his hand and backed away. Dottore huffed, grabbing Aether to hold him in place before lifting his head yet again.
And there it was. Beautiful, pitiful, tears streaked down the boy's cheeks. He wondered what they'd taste like. Though, he supposed he should offer a bit of comfort. Considering he'd be the only person the kid would see for a long time.
"Awwwww", Dottore cooed, "Is the tiny traveler terrified?"
The doctor pinched Aether's cheek the best he could. Aether made a distressed grunt as he attempted to turn his head away.
"I'm doing you a favor here, you know", Dottore leveled with Aether, "Honestly, you're always galavanting around all high and mighty. Getting into fights, challenging almost every system you come across, but I know what you really are", the doctor leaned closer, " a child, running around and playing hero when you really have no idea what you're up against."
"Hey!"
Dottore turned away to rub his temples before feeling a minute pain in one of his fingers. He glanced over to see Aether's teeth digging into his glove. He had…bit him.
"I am NOT a child!"
Dottore stared for a moment. He could feel the boy's heavy breathing and racing heart, yet he had still garnered the audacity to bite him. Through it all, one thought solidified in the doctor's mind, 'adorable'. If he hadn't been planning on keeping the traveler before, he sure was now.
"Hm", Dottore lifted up and turned toward the laboratory doors, heading for his office.
"Wait wait! Where are we going?!"
Dottore didn't bother answering. He had bigger things to worry about. Afterall, if the child was going to be staying with him, he'd need a proper setup. 'Would a cage be appropriate?'

Bite-Sized Boy!
kaveh x gn!reader
wc: 0.8k
warnings: tiny kaveh, non-specific description of reader outfit, cursing
hehe happy april fools <3
"How the fuck did this happen?"
You balk at the man in front of you, who is currently pacing parallel to a teaspoon upon your kitchen island. His shrunken heels barely even clack against the surface, and he stops, finally, and turns on one to face you properly.
"I don't know!" Kaveh laments, throwing his arms out dramatically either side of himself. "First thing I know I'm walking through the city, the next a cat is trying to eat me!"
He drops to his knees, releasing a frustrated exhale that loses all of its emotional meaning when it comes out so much higher pitched and quieter. Noticeably deflated, you can't help but giggle at the state of your boyfriend as he pouts and huffs.
"It's not funny- " he whines your name, extending the vowels with a quaver as he sniffles and tears up. "I'm tiny…"
"You're cute," you rebuke, bringing a single finger to the top of his head and gently ruffling his hair.
Kaveh squeaks- you're sure it was supposed to be an intimidating sort of noise- and frantically bats at your fingertip with his hands.
He has forgone verbal complaint by now to enact his most powerful method of manipulation- pouting so intensely with such large, watery eyes that anyone who gazes upon him becomes powerless to his whims. At this size, a mere hand's length high, its effectiveness has increased exponentially.
"Aw baby," you croon, "I'm sorry. Do you want to come with me whilst I find a way to turn you back?"
Brilliant sparkling rubies glisten out at you as he nods, and then he blinks slowly as a realisation hits. "Uh… how am I supposed to keep up with you, though?"
You think for a moment.
In the meantime, Kaveh finally rises from his knees and starts to pace once more, this time circling around your teacup. He stops and walks up to it, careful not to burn his hands on the porcelain as he peers over the rim and observes the rich brown liquid inside.
"What if you finished this and carried me around in it?"
"Kaveh, I'm not walking around Sumeru with a teacup."
He huffs. "It was just a suggestion."
"You've given me an idea, though," you say, rising from your seat and leaving.
Behind you, you just about manage to hear Kaveh's pitchy exclamations of disapproval at your disappearance, but you bolster on into your bedroom and quickly get changed.
When you re-emerge into the kitchen, Kaveh has started to rummage through his equally-tiny Mehrak for something. Miniscule papers and pencils litter your table like dust particles, and you take extra care not to disrupt any of them as you sit back down.
"You look wonderful, as always," Kaveh says, smooth words abundantly more amusing when they sound as though they're being spoken by a bird, "but how is a change of clothes going to help?"
"Come here."
You lay your palm out on the table and wait for him to pack everything away again before he approaches, gingerly tapping the side of your hand with his foot to test it out. Kaveh turns to face you, a tiny frown etched into his tiny lips, and then turns back to your hand.
"This is so degrading," he sighs, throwing Mehrak into your palm before clambering up himself.
He stumbles across the ridges and bumps of your flesh, arms splaying out for balance. As you raise up slowly, a poorly placed step sends him sprawling out in a mess across your hand, and he clutches desperately around your thumb to save himself from tumbling off.
"Watch it!" he gasps, squeezing onto you for dear life.
With your spare hand, you pull open the pocket on your chest.
"In you go," you say, tipping your palm to drop Kaveh. Mehrak falls safely into the pocket, but your boyfriend refuses to detach from you, grasping tighter to your thumb as his legs flail in the air. You shake him lightly to try and urge him to let go, but he looks at you with that wide-eyed pout again and you sigh. "This is the best we're going to get. Either get in, or I can leave you here."
Another tiny huff, "fine," and he lets himself fall into your pocket.
It's just shallow enough for his upper torso to poke out, and he grabs onto the hemmed edge to keep himself secure as you start to walk around. Kaveh tugs on the fabric as if it'll have any bearing on the direction you go in, artificially guiding you around as you take to the streets of Sumeru.
Though you've no clue where to begin to look to turn Kaveh back, you have to at least try. Cute as he is like this, having to deal with his tiny tantrums will be far more hassle than it's worth.
For now, however, you suppose you'll take advantage of the presence of your tiny pocket boyfriend as long as he may last.

Autisitc Giants and Tinies!!!!!!
As and Autsitic person i think the concept of tinies and giants that are autistic is neat!
Autistic Tinys:
Who have hyper sentive hearing so the giant has to be extra quiet to not overstimulate them or hypo sentive hearing tinys who where the giants voice doesnt bother them unlike other people and even likes the vibrations they feel when the giant talks
Who hang out on their giant friends shoulder so they can infodump to them in their ear
Who stim but playing with the giants hair or even in/with the giants hands/fingers
That are non-speaking who have a giant translator (litterally) or even use a AAC device that set to be loud enough for the giant to hear
That when having a meltdown the giants makes sure they're safe and not hurting themselves (while also giving them space)
That will uses the giants hands as a pressure blanket or even to cover them so they can sit the dark
Tinys who have a better time reading their giant friends then others because they can see their giant friends facial experssions better because of how big they are
Who have trouble with controling their volume but the giant doesnt mind cause it just means they can hear them better
Autistic Giants:
That have hypersentive hearing that can pick up the tinys voice more then others and even hear the borrorws in the walls that no one else can
That talk naturally quiets so doesnt have to mask their voice with their tiny friend or has a harder time controling their voice volume and accicently keeps getting to loud and feeling bad about it
That will GENTLE (and with consent) stim with their tiny friends as a figit
Who infodumps to the tiny while holding them
That is non-speaking who now has a tiny translator and if has a AAC device puts it really quietly for the tiny
Who has shut downs and the tiny finds their safe food for them
Who has meltdowns and the tiny tries to help with alot a space between them and struggles how but does their best
Who has a harder time reading social cues cus their tinys friends face is so small
Who has hyper empathy so realizes the tinys feelings quicker then the tiny expacted
Autistic Sizeshifter:
Who turn small during shutdowns but grow during meltdowns
That grow or shink as a stim or to do surtain stims
That will grow while infodumping by accident because they're so happy or shrink to play with figures of there special interest
if anyone thinks of more id loved to hear them but this is all i can think of right now (and i kept out some of the angst ideas)
#g/t#giant/tiny#im autistic and you have no idea how happy this makes me#love this#might add some of my own ideas at some point#overall 10/10 post

A Bit About Me
Hello! My name is Abi and I've been a fan of Giant/tiny for as long as I can remember. For the majority of my childhood, I always thought that I was some kind of weirdo, all alone with my thoughts of Giant/tiny. Then I joined Tumblr and found out that there's a whole community dedicated to Giant/tiny! I'm not exaggerating when I say that the Tumblr Giant/tiny community saved me. I don't think I would have made it through Middle School without all of the amazing art and fics. And today I've decided that I will no longer be just an observer. I'll be sharing my own content and creativity with the world! That being said, I hope I can at least make some small contributions to the best fandom on Tumblr. :)
#introduction#ramble#not giant/tiny#im really excited to finally be doing this#i can finally get my voice out there#!!!
