I can’t begin to explain how much joy you and your team have brought me. Up until recently, watching football was an escape for me. However, your injury the hurricanes our presidents failure to aid Puerto Rico and the fires in California... just everything that’s happening politically in our country has deeply affected me. I have to say the the bright spot for me was your statement on the #unity and #brotherhood of the NFL. Your words during the week of kneel, not kneel, stay in the locker room (not the same locker room our President was in) or link arms, were so eloquently stated and inspired. You said, “This is about equality. This is about unity and love and growing together as a society and starting a conversation around something that may be a little bit uncomfortable for people. But we've got to come together and talk about these things and grow as a community, as a connected group of individuals in our society, and we're going to continue to show love and unity, and this week we're going to ask the fans to join in as well and come together and show people that we can be connected and we can grow together." Your words resonated deeply as well as your love, knowledge and dedication to the game. You must be PISSED right now, as are all of us. Heal quickly and properly and do whatever is best for you. @packers and all us fans are supporting @bretthundley7 to fill some impossible shoes. Late night 69 degree weather! tinkle break with #scarletmonroe it’s been averaging 115 during the day and 90 at night for 4 months. This is the best time! You can begin to smell the earth again! Open windows at night. Coming from Chicago nearly six years ago, I still marvel at the palm trees, lemon and grapefruit trees for picking, brilliant orange and pink sunsets, scarce rainbows and the majestic San Jacinto mountains. This is just a snapshot I took of the trees in my front yard. I remember visiting California and Florida on family trips when I was 8-12 years old. They were foreign and a little mystical and majestic to me back then. And still now. Don’t ever forget to appreciate the beauty of your surroundings. Moments.
