Happy Star Sending to @ask-meowscarada!! I absolutely loved all of your characters' lists and couldn't choose just one, so I tried my best to have Ari fulfil a wish from each of them! Reading through your blog from the start again to get to know the characters as well as I could was a really fun experience and I had an absolute blast drawing them all together - I can only hope I've done them justice!!!

The unstable DNA of mew has resulted in this curious little one having two sets of wings! Not that they need them being able to float n all, but it's pretty cute none the less.

A shiny midday lycanroc with an unusually pale coat. Although they generally have a timid demeanour this completely changes when they sing, bringing out a side of them that's far more lively! If nobody's looking, of course

So the previous visitors weren't the last. But this one... there was something different about them.

They tried so hard not to stare. So hard. They wanted nothing more than to answer the question of the entity beside them in hopes that they would leave, but they were far to preoccupied keeping watch for any sudden movements.

Their mouth opened to speak but initially they could only choke on their words. It was a horrible situation. Not just for them, they imagined, but for the 'mon opposite them too. Being gawked at like this couldn't be pleasant for anyone - not a great first impression on their behalf.

Against their every instinct they slowly angled their head away from the entity, trying to push through haze of a rapidly developing headache to remember what exactly they'd said.

'...That's right.' They thought. 'They asked where we are. All you need to do is answer them. That's all.'

A flicker of flames snapped them out of their thoughts. There was a second pokemon ahead of them. A weird coincidence? Or maybe they travel in pairs.

The monferno didn't help lessen the anxiety the situation was causing them to any degree, but it did give them something else to focus on. They steadied their voice, though it was still noticeably stilted as they spoke.

"This is Zone 7 of the Kagea region, judging by the maps I've seen. And if you travel further East you should yourself in part of Zone 8. It's a famous part of the region from what I've read, perhaps you've heard of it?"

And then quietly, as if they didn't intend for the others to hear, they added;

"I... may need to have this 'hell' explained to me... I don't believe we have that here."

... It was strange how something so small could leave them so shaken up. Stupid, really - it was just a lost skitty, but their voice - it was hearing another voice for the first time. A real voice. Not one filtered through a screen or the crackle of vinyl static. Though quiet it rang in their ears like a gunshot, breaking the silence they'd grown so accustomed to. It was a viscerally unpleasant thing to experience.

Their own voice was soft as they spoke. No need to be loud in a place as quiet as this.

"I can't offer you much help, I'm afraid. Retracing your steps may be a good place to start? Though, it may also leave you even more lost than before… My apologies, all I can promise is that staying here will not do you any favours."

A dull ache in their horn told them someone else was approaching.

I feel that, my posting schedule is so far behind rn haha. But regardless!! For Munday: what part of your art process do you enjoy most and why?

My condolences for your posting schedule lol, I hope you can get caught up to a place you're happy with soon!!

My favourite part of the process tends to be colouring/rendering! With the way I draw they kind of blend together and as the least "stressful" and the last part of drawing for me it makes finishing something I've been working on for a while feel really rewarding ^^

An absol waits alone, perched on the roof of a building in a place that could best be described as... off. Through a rift in space-time you've found yourself in this strange place, and its sole resident is quite difficult to miss even amongst the vibrant neon lights that flood the lower levels of the city.

Compelled to investigate you approach them, wary with an uneasy feeling in your gut telling you that despite their gaze never once shifting from the sky they've been aware of your presence for a while - perhaps even since you arrived.
