ok this shoot was so magical! this is a good friend from college and we decided to drive up the side of a mountain and take these soft, dainty, happy photos. AND THIS WOMAN NEEDS TO BE SIGNED RN!! her ability to pose was unreal. she killed the game and these photos came out so stunning. I have a few more shoots I did with her that I will share later so stay tuned for those!

Shot with Nikon D850, and a shitty kit lens (don't ask)

Backstory: So its my sophomore year at college, I am so single, and have fun doing photography here and there, so I joined my school's photo club. The same day, a cute boy dm's me on instagram (turns out he was the photo club president) and asks to take me out to coffee. Me, having never had been asked on a proper date, of course say yes. After our cute lil coffee date, he decided to take me to photograph his favorite place: Grand Tetons National Park. So we drove 8 hours to the mountains and my butt hated every seated moment, but my heart was all butterflies. Anyways, I like to think this adorable little house could've been an old married couple who stayed madly in love, unlike me and photo boy.

Shot with Nikon 8008s, a kit lens, and some color kodak film that I developed using B&W chemistry and ruined 😤😌☠️

Hey! It's me! well... its my twin lol. We'll see a lot of her because she is beautiful and also one of my favorite people to photograph. Anyways, Summer of 2021, my sister and I spent the weekend in NYC with family and wow! she was just so alight! I want her to move there!

(sidenote, I hated this camera. It was so damn heavy.)

A bit of an unconventional college graduation shoot, but I really wanted some moody, elegant photos for this friend. She embodies such a woman: elegant, powerful, imposing, restrained. Anyways, does this count as dark academia??

still working on obtaining my very own 4x5, but in the meantime enjoy this work in progress! I don't have the original scans anymore, but i found a picture of my photoshop screen while I worked on it back in the day. As in love now as I was then.
Shot on 4x5 large format view camera, Ilford 100 film, scanned.
I went to school for photography at the lovely Montana State University (Go Cats!) and this lovely multi-frame panorama was shot nestled up in the Bridger Mountains overlooking Bozeman, MT.
I just love the way 4x5 film *glows* and leaps off the page. mesmerizing.
