not to make love for a male actor a feminist issue, but it is so so funny to me whenever i talk with my male colleagues (who work in entertainment!) and they express shock at how “underrated” and “new” certain actors are as soon as they’re in a more masculine project despite them having been extremely successful in more niche, feminine-leaning projects for a decade+ (yes this is about nicholas hoult in superman)
